"Although the room was a bit old, the cleanliness and service were still excellent. The butler checked in with us daily, provided weather updates and information about hotel activities. They were especially attentive to safety during rainy weather and readily provided anything we needed. When our child accidentally got a bump while playing outside, they immediately sent up iodine after a phone call. The breakfast spread was plentiful and suitable for both seniors and children. It started as early as 6:30 AM, which was perfect for visiting Tianchi Lake, as many other hotels only start serving breakfast after 7 AM. Going to Tianchi early in the morning greatly increases your chances of seeing the lake, and we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse. On the 17th, Tianchi closed and stopped admissions after 10 AM. The Wanda Realm Suite practically included access to all Wanda resort activities. If you visited the water park, the hotel provided a laundry room with dryers, as well as disinfectant and laundry detergent. Just be aware that there can be long queues during peak times, so plan your schedule accordingly. Regarding Wanda perks: The cable car offered incredibly beautiful views (complimentary on first stay, unlimited rides on the same day), but it only operates on clear days. Other perks included the Wacool boat ride, a choice between the slide or luge, hot springs, and the water park. The boat rides and slides are also weather-dependent (clear days only), while grass-sliding is an additional charge. I recommend prioritizing the slide/luge queue first (children must be 12+ years old and over 155cm to ride alone; otherwise, an adult must accompany them) as the wait times can be very long. You can then do grass-sliding later (it has longer operating hours and no queues). The boat ride also has long queues. We didn't get to it in the afternoon/evening, but we managed to enjoy all the most exciting activities."

"The location is central, but using the back entrance makes everything easily accessible, and it's not right on the food street, so it feels very quiet. Taking the back exit near the lollipops in the hotel lobby, and then the path in front of the big lawn, is even closer and more convenient. The overall service was excellent; every guest gets a hotel assistant. Our assistant, 7-Up, sent messages beforehand with reminders, weather forecasts, and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a deluxe twin room and got one with a mountain view. From the room, you could see the lawn, cable car, etc., offering great views. Food: Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet. The dinner buffet had grilled skewers, hot pots, and other decent options. Resort-wide benefits: They included access to the slide, cable car, water park, hot springs, and more. Everything was great, except for the long wait times for the slide. The hotel facilities are quite old, but they are clean, which is a plus. Overall, it was a good experience."

"1. I booked this hotel two months in advance. The hotel told me the main building had mountain views. On the day of check-in, my butler told me a room on the 2nd floor of the main building was reserved for me. However, when I arrived that evening, the front desk said there was no such reservation. The front desk staff's attitude was poor, saying the manager wasn't available in the evening. Although they eventually upgraded us to a villa, the view from the villa was terrible. The next day, the butler said he was asleep and missed my call, claiming that in Switzerland, the low-lying terrain means you can't see much of the mountains. Very frustrating. The villa faced another villa, so the view wasn't good. It looked nice from the outside, but the lighting inside was dim, and being next to the road, there was noise from passing cars when the windows were open. Yet, when checking in, the front desk still claimed the villa area was the best, saying the main building had many tour groups and was noisy. However, the outside of the villa was quite picturesque for photos. 2. The breakfast at the villa was the same for two consecutive days. The pickled vegetables looked like leftovers and tasted terrible. When we asked the female chef in the villa area if she could make an omelet, she gave us a cold, stern look and said she couldn't. Later, we found out it was possible in the main building. It really depends on who you encounter here. Most staff were very enthusiastic, but a few bad apples really spoiled the experience. 3. The hotel offers some perks, like complimentary rafting, which wasn't great due to the crowds and poor experience. The butler even admitted that paying for it would be better. But they only told us the ticket price, not the full cost. We only found out upon arrival that there was an additional charge for the shuttle back from rafting. The butlers didn't mention any of this beforehand. 4. During summer, there are tons of families with kids and many cars. The experience is really bad; it's best to drive yourself. There are no good restaurants near the resort; you have to drive over ten kilometers to Wanda Plaza or even further to a town. 5. The facilities are supposedly newer than Wanda's, but in reality, the bathroom outlet was broken, the bathtub leaked in the middle of the night, and my child's tablet couldn't connect to the WiFi, so we had to use a hotspot. It was just a mess. In the villa area, what greets you in the morning might be the sun, or it might be a freshly woven spiderweb 🕸️ and a large spider. Hope the kids don't get scared. 6. Before coming, I asked about the temperature, and they told us to bring thick jackets. Turns out, we didn't need any thick clothes at all; short sleeves were perfectly fine. I honestly feel the service is quite subpar. Although the butler asked for a good review, I really can't give one. The service desperately needs training; it doesn't meet the standard for a good review."

"Facilities: The facilities are very comprehensive, with the overall decor featuring wood and stone. Although I read some reviews before coming that mentioned it being dimly lit inside, I personally feel it perfectly matches the primitive ecological style of Changbai Mountain and I really like it. When you're on vacation, you want to find this kind of raw, natural feeling. Cleanliness: The hygiene conditions are excellent overall, very clean. Environment: The environment is a major highlight. The hotel offers many complimentary benefits, and the entire resort is well-managed. All staff members for the activities wear unified uniforms, and from the airport shuttle bus to the hotel, they are very responsive and enthusiastic, truly showcasing the hospitality of Northeasterners. Breakfast: Very rich, with both Chinese and Western options. Especially for those who enjoy Western food, they even have overnight oats and Eggs Benedict, which shows great thoughtfulness. Overall, I'm very satisfied with choosing this hotel for my family vacation with the kids. The location is also very convenient, with a direct exit to the commercial street from the back. The airport transfers, recreational activities, and even the concierge helping to arrange rafting and transfers to the West Slope all justify the price. I'd love to come back for skiing if I have the chance."

"Right from the start, the service at this hotel felt uncomfortable. When checking in at the front desk, the staff member took my ID, then turned around to chat with a colleague, leaving me waiting. I had to ask twice before he finally said they were done chatting and proceeded with my check-in. The male front desk staff was full of arrogance! Sure enough, upon entering the room, a slipper left by the previous guest was prominently displayed on the floor! Dust and paper scraps were clearly visible in the corners. It was unbearable, so I requested a re-cleaning. Throughout it all, the hotel offered no apology whatsoever. For 2000 a night, it was a truly miserable stay!"

"Trusting an established brand, I chose The Westin, but was utterly disappointed after checking in. The front desk staff and hotel butlers were all very warm and attentive. The parking garage attendant was also excellent and very considerate, especially when the garage was full. While I had anticipated the hotel facilities would be dated, given it's been open for many years, my actual stay was a huge letdown. I really hope the hotel management seriously considers renovating the property. Firstly, the room number design and signage on the same floor are confusing. I stayed in 33xx, but there were also 32xx rooms on the 3rd floor. When looking for my room, it was easy to assume and I ended up taking many unnecessary detours. Secondly, not only was screen mirroring unavailable, but the hotel's cable TV signal displayed noticeable static. I even wondered if the TVs hadn't been replaced since the hotel opened. Screen mirroring is now a basic feature in most hotels. The bathroom had a very strong and distinct urine odor. After reporting it, staff cleaned it and it improved somewhat. Cleanliness was an issue: I found spiders 🕷 in two different spots. Many surfaces were old, moldy, and blackened, which looked very unappealing. The housekeeping staff needs further training. Shoes left in the room were not neatly arranged, some were even askew, and the advertising flyer by the bed was just haphazardly placed. The toilet paper was far too thin. Is it normal for the shower gel to produce no lather when used? There were food residues, similar to rice grains, on the back of the information sheet on the desk. Clearly, the previous guest had left it dirty and it hadn't been cleaned."

"The Park Hyatt Changbaishan offers an absolutely amazing resort experience 🌿. The hotel is nestled deep within the resort area, providing excellent privacy. Its overall style is a understated yet elegant New Chinese design, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was incredibly spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the balcony offered distant views of the mountains and forests. I absolutely loved the room's aesthetic. The breakfast selection was rich and high-quality, featuring both Western and Chinese options. The staff were warm and polite, check-in was efficient, and they were responsive without being overly enthusiastic. Getting around the resort area was convenient, and the environment was quiet and serene, perfectly embodying a relaxing vacation vibe. It's definitely my top choice for a Changbaishan getaway, and I'm very satisfied overall. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Beyond expectations. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, proactively arranging pickup and providing thorough explanations and information during the journey – truly professional and attentive. Upon arrival, they helped with luggage and took it to the room. A small detail that really stood out was that the young man waited for me to close my door before he turned to leave after saying goodbye – very professional indeed! The pool is bright with high ceilings, and the 25-meter length made for a very pleasant swim. The changing rooms were also well-equipped. Hotel facilities and the room were excellent, quiet and clean. I particularly enjoyed the floor-to-ceiling windows and the unobstructed bathroom. The lobby has the standard resort hotel style and facilities, with a hint of Nordic wood design. There are sika deer in the courtyard that you can pet, which is great for kids. Breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients. For those who enjoy sleeping in, brunch is the most enjoyable part of the day. The hotel is surrounded by forest, truly living up to its reputation as a natural oxygen bar. The natural breeze from the room's AC was also refreshingly cool – a perfect place to escape the heat and find peace. Next time, I'll definitely choose Pullman Changbaishan again with my family to experience a slower pace of life, distinct from Shenyang."

"This resort's hilltop location offers breathtaking views, which is its biggest draw. The forest environment is quiet, and the room size is decent, with a complimentary minibar. The shuttle bus service to and from the town is quite convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and some facilities show their age. Being in a mountainous area, you might occasionally find small insects in the room. Amenities are limited; the gym requires a shuttle ride to another building. Prices can be high during peak season, and service response times are average. It's best suited for travelers who prioritize views and a peaceful atmosphere."
