Very good homestay, quiet and comfortable, especially for guests like me who are tired of crowding, such an elegant and cozy small courtyard makes people feel particularly comfortable. There are many farmhouse foods in the village. It is only a 5-minute drive from Wanda Resort (the homestay can provide a special car transfer, the master is very nice), near the west slope of Tianchi, and the south slope of Tianchi and north slope are also the right distance to drive. Although it is a homestay, the service staff has a 5-star quality, which can rush the guests to the urgent, let the guests enjoy the feeling of being at home and get a strong feeling. Very satisfied with a stay experience.

This hotel is in an excellent location, just a few hundred meters from the Wanda Resort, with plenty of dining and entertainment options nearby, and beautiful scenery. The owner is incredibly welcoming, always smiling with a warm, honest expression. Their travel itinerary suggestions are exceptionally professional; they planned our three-day trip perfectly, ensuring we saw everything without feeling rushed or tired. It truly felt like coming home, and it significantly improved my impression of Northeast China. Definitely a full-mark recommendation!

My flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day. After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake. The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit. Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing. The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better. In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

The room was incredibly unique, exquisite, and very well-maintained. You could tell a lot of thought went into the design, and the color scheme was beautiful. Everything from check-in to communication with the butler was seamless. The complimentary activities offered by the hotel were great fun, especially the rafting, which was quite interesting. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, the best I've had among several hotels in Changbai Mountain. I personally really loved this hotel. For someone who dislikes crowds, I absolutely adored the tranquility and the sounds of birds and flowers here. The hotel's main restaurant was also fantastic. Huameishengdi (presumably a hotel or resort area) is far superior to Wanda overall. If you're looking for a resort-like experience, don't hesitate – choose Huameishengdi, and specifically this hotel (the complimentary benefits are also very comprehensive!).

The hotel's location is great, and the breakfast selection is quite rich. The coffee is a huge plus, it really helped me power through the climb to the West Slope. It's located in town, about a 10-minute drive from the West Slope Chixi Transfer Center. The hotel offers airport and train station pick-up and drop-off services, and they also help arrange transport for rafting. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient and offering good value for money. The mountain view from the mountain view rooms is a bit distant; it might be worth considering if it's not much more expensive than other rooms, but otherwise, it's not essential. Overall, I highly recommend it, especially for those who aren't staying at a resort but plan to hike the West Slope.

An older, upscale hotel with facilities and a layout that were top-notch in its time. While the hotel may be older, the service is still excellent! I really liked the butler online service; it's a much better experience than a budget hotel. Our family of three had a very spacious and comfortable stay! It's dry in Changbai Mountain this season, and they thoughtfully provided plenty of water! We really needed it! I haven't drunk this much water in a long time!

For my autumn trip to Changbai Mountain, I chose a hotel closer to the west slope and stayed at the Wanda Tourist Resort Hotel. The butler service was attentive and thorough. Restaurants in the surrounding area offered pick-up and drop-off services, and the hotel also provided hot spring tickets. The room was quiet and elegant, and the hygiene was excellent. The resort facilities were comprehensive, with attention to detail, making for a very satisfying vacation.

This summer vacation to Changbai Mountain was a blast for our group of six! The hotel's location is excellent, and the natural surroundings are superb. Concierge Xiao Chen provided fantastic service; she was warm and polite. Whether it was helping with luggage, offering travel advice, or assisting with small daily needs, she handled everything perfectly and with great efficiency. Her service was patient and professional throughout our stay, making our visit incredibly convenient. We're very satisfied and highly recommend it.

I rarely write reviews, but I feel this is worth mentioning. Regarding cleanliness, it really didn't meet the standards of a hotel that opened 25 years ago. There was a lot of dust and debris on the floor. I requested a room change, and while the new room still had some issues, it was much better. The most frustrating thing was that at 7 AM the next morning, the hotel actually allowed a wedding party to set off fireworks and firecrackers right outside the entrance, and no one from the hotel stopped them. Also, there's a clear lack of staff; one attendant was covering several floors, and the front desk inaccurately recorded requests – I asked for bath towels and got bathrobes instead. Overall, the only positive was that the hot springs weren't crowded. Other than that, it felt like a neglected place during the off-season. I do not recommend it.

I came all the way from the south. The room was way too old. The hot water wasn't very hot in the morning. Takeout could only be delivered to the front desk. The room was quite large, but very poorly soundproofed; you could hear people talking next door. The hot spring water was okay and quite clean, but someone was scrubbing themselves in it. Overall, it was just so-so. Facilities: Too, too old; the TV was small; you couldn't see the text on the TV from the bed.
