"This is the first time in decades I've left a negative review on Ctrip, and this stay was an absolute nightmare, no exaggeration. I chose what's supposed to be the best hotel in Mohe, but I didn't get a wink of sleep. The hotel has large fans running at night, and lying in bed, my ear on the pillow, created a resonant effect with the noise (I wonder if anyone can understand or relate to that). I called the front desk to ask for a room change, but was told there were no other rooms of that type available. I said, 'If there's an issue with this room, it shouldn't be assigned!' Ultimately, no solution was found!!! The next morning, I had a splitting headache and tearfully complained to the front desk. They apologized and offered a late checkout until 2 PM, but my Ctrip benefits already allowed for a 2 PM checkout anyway!! I asked to speak to the front desk manager or lobby manager and was told the leaders weren't in... Again, no resolution! I had planned to stay three nights in Mohe, but ended up buying a flight to Harbin for that very day. My final checkout time was 3:30 PM. I was truly, truly, truly, truly, truly distraught! It's been two days since I arrived in Harbin and my head still hurts. Extremely disappointed! I hope the Ctrip platform can advocate for a loyal customer of decades. The photos are my own, taken directly at the large equipment downstairs that caused the noise. I showed them to the hotel front desk and suggested their managers stay one night to experience my suffering! They just chuckled and gave no response! I stayed in room 802."

"The location is very convenient, right on the main street. It's just a few hundred meters to Songyuan Park, Beiji Square, and Mohe Dance Hall. The front desk can help you call a taxi, and it's only 6 yuan to go anywhere within the town. The front desk manager was excellent; they upgraded our room and even gave us a small gift. The service was warm and attentive. The only downside is that the room's soundproofing isn't great, so it can get quite noisy when people are passing by."

"First of all, a huge thank you to the owner for saving us a room. I wanted to stay on the first floor, but it showed as unavailable on Ctrip. I tried messaging the owner through the backend, and they arranged a first-floor room for us, so we didn't have to carry our small dog up the stairs. Also, the shower is a wet/dry separation, and you can charge your car right outside the door. Although the room was a bit small, the owner said we could arrange it ourselves. There's a restaurant right across the street and a supermarket nearby, and it's very close to the market. A very convenient hotel overall."

My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. "I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

"Easy to n from Mohe Rail stn. Cab to hotel in town n vice versa, Rmb 10/- each way. Food wise many family run eating houses. Shopping plentiful, esp dried goods n fruits in season. Hotel was ok. Staff friendly, helpful n accomodating to our requests. We were given a plate of cut frozen pear as welcome. Only BIG dissappointment was the TV. Its was really stressful trying to get the TV to ”work”. Had to use 2 different TV remotes. Sometime both work sometimes both doesn't. Even the Boss had trouble getting it to work. He needs to resolve this issue, fast. Overall I give hotel a 9/10."

The food prices aren't cheap, but they're fair, considering how inconvenient transportation is to this area, which significantly increases the cost of ingredients brought in from outside. The dishes taste like home cooking – simple and delicious, not overly oily or salty like some restaurants. Oh, and the local beer is really good; definitely give it a try. The village itself is very neat, with straight, orderly streets, and it's very quiet. You can strike up a conversation with the villagers if you meet them! Finally, a word about the owner's family of three: their university-aged son is very handsome, the owner is a down-to-earth person who does the cooking, and the landlady is gentle, kind, and very welcoming. During dinner, they even brought us cucumbers from their own garden – a bit crooked, but green-hearted and very sweet! For breakfast, we had eggs, steamed buns, corn porridge, and pickled vegetables. After breakfast, as we were getting ready to leave, the owner and landlady stood at the door to bid farewell to each and every guest!"

GGuest UserIn July, I drove with my family to live in the Arctic Village Jingxuan Farmhouse. The farmyard boss Zhao and the proprietress were very enthusiastic, and the dishes made for us were also very delicious! It is more worth moving. Boss Zhao personally drove me and two other guests out to shoot the sunrise at 3:00 in the morning the next day. In order to let us shoot at the best sunrise shooting point in the Arctic Village, he personally took us up the mountain in front and climbed the mountain for about 25 minutes to reach the best point. This is also the earliest time I have taken a sunrise since I took a hobby. After we took the sunrise, we returned to the farmyard to rest. Boss Zhao also specially sent us to the morning market to buy Arctic Village special tofu and soy milk. This warm service really made me unforgettable in my life! If you go to the Arctic Village next time, you will continue to stay at Jingxuan Farmhouse. On behalf of your family, I would also thank Boss Zhao and the proprietress for their enthusiasm and hospitality!
