Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. "Facilities: Simple and practical, though the smart Tmall Genie seemed a bit quirky, perhaps needing an update. Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy. Environment: Beautiful window view. Service: Friendly and welcoming. Arriving in Mohe on the Snow Country Train, we checked into a cozy haven, the eLong Hotel, nestled in a wonderland at the far north. As we opened the door, a 270° bay window offered breathtaking panoramic views of the snowy plains and icy mountains. The 1.8-meter wide king-size bed, comfortable sofa, and spacious bay window transformed the -30℃ outdoor chill into a wonderfully warm and familiar indoor sanctuary. This provided a safe and comfortable resting environment for my elderly parents on their first long journey. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, providing extra hangers, bottled water, and tea of the same quality, which gave my family great peace of mind. In the morning, we welcomed the sunrise with stunning alpenglow outside our window. The hotel's varied and delicious breakfast kicked off our invigorating trip to Mohe. We had a delightful interaction with charming deer, and to the rhythm of jingling bells and trotting hooves, we ventured into the natural ice and snow city. Gazing at the winding, extensive border of our nation felt like being in a fairy tale, truly purifying the soul. Thank you to the hotel for providing such a haven – it was more than just accommodation; it was a conduit for transmitting Arctic culture. As the horse-drawn carriage once again traversed the snow-covered forest, we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our next icy dawn."

"Wow, the room was amazing! My partner and I were picked up by the guesthouse owner after getting off the bus. When we booked, only one bathtub room was left, but when we arrived, the owner said a room with a view was available and I could choose! 😍 I immediately chose the view room, and it was breathtaking! There was a huge snowy view outside for taking photos, and we could even play with the hoop!"

"The location is very convenient, right on the main street. It's just a few hundred meters to Songyuan Park, Beiji Square, and Mohe Dance Hall. The front desk can help you call a taxi, and it's only 6 yuan to go anywhere within the town. The front desk manager was excellent; they upgraded our room and even gave us a small gift. The service was warm and attentive. The only downside is that the room's soundproofing isn't great, so it can get quite noisy when people are passing by."

"I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

"An excellent two-night stay at this hotel. The room was clean, modern and well-heated for the winter. It was a welcoming place to return to after a long day. However the location is slightly away from the center and bus stop (I am sure you can ask them to pick you up for free). But if you don’t mind walking like I do, you will appreciate this place for its general space and vicinity. The reception is happy to provide you with a thermos and the pitcher for you to 泼水成冰。 there is no need to pay for this beautiful experience. I did it 7 times on my own 🤣."

"From a terrifying night to a heartwarming cabin: My adventure in Beiji Village began with a negative review of my accommodation experience. Who could have imagined that the first day's check-in, with its unsafe ”front desk room” and even a stranger breaking into the room, would have been so disheartening? That feeling of isolation and lingering fear could easily ruin any impression of a place. But luckily, we found this place! A huge thank you to the owner for the exceptional service and impeccable amenities. The rustic charm was incredibly soothing: the room was authentically rustic, the solid wood furniture exuding a natural fragrance, and the warm yellow lighting instantly dispelled the winter chill. The bedding was soft and comfortable, feeling like being enveloped in warmth. Outside the window was a tranquil snowscape; drawing back the curtains revealed a fairytale world. Every detail here showed thoughtful design and taste, instantly relaxing me. This trip to Beiji Village was like an emotional rollercoaster. From the fear and anger of the first day to the peace and感动 of the second, the contrast was immense. Although the beginning was a bit thrilling, the ending was beautiful. Thank you, Linyun Mountain and Water Hotel, for healing me with your warmth. I hope that everyone who goes to the Arctic Village can avoid those pitfalls and stay in their own warm wooden cabin."

"The owner was incredibly kind. He called us while we were still on the shuttle bus to confirm our arrival time and picked us up directly from the station. He arranged a private car for us, explained the sightseeing guide, and even treated us to their own birch sap. Their place was newly renovated, the rooms were quite clean, and it's only a 200-300 meter walk from the Beiji Village station. It's also very close to the northernmost post office and Qixing Square. There's a boardwalk and a grove of trees just 20 meters from the door, where you can splash water to make ice – the location is pretty good! However, don't expect too much from a guesthouse, like soundproofing; it's definitely not as good as a big hotel. But it's great value for money!"
