"I have to give this hotel a huge shout-out! From check-in to check-out, the service was incredibly thoughtful, and the staff were always ready to help. The biggest surprise was being able to do laundry, which is super practical for anyone on a longer road trip – it solved a major headache. Parking was also incredibly convenient; no need to hunt for a spot, you just park right downstairs, which is hassle-free and secure. The environment is really comfortable, clean, and tidy; the hygiene is impeccable, and the bedding feels fresh, making for a very pleasant stay. The owner is also incredibly warm and friendly, chatting with us like a friend and even proactively recommending great local spots. The whole experience was top-notch! One step through the door and the wife hugged me like a long-lost littermate. Tail wagging commenced immediately. 🐾 If warmth could melt Mohe’s cold, this household would be climate change. My downstairs room? Small. A little dim. Chosen for my sister’s convenience rather than my royal canine standards. But here’s the thing — when hospitality is this generous, the light comes from the people. I ate every meal at their café not out of laziness, but loyalty. Why brave the Arctic for repetitive food when home-style comfort is already waiting with a bowl and a smile? Youran lives up to its name: unforced, gentle, human. It felt less like a hotel and more like visiting relatives who keep refilling your bowl because you look “too thin.” This became the perfect launchpad for my Harbin expedition, three nights of settling in, warming up, and learning that charm travels better than luxury. Now, the honest bone (every good dog buries one): I’d give this a 4.1 stars if decimals existed. Since they don’t, here’s a conditional 5-star — contingent on tighter cleanliness under beds, chairs, and in the toilet. I raised this directly with the boss because I’d happily recommend this boutique stay to my pack… once the floors behave. All in, Mohe Youran Mountain Residence didn’t just host me — they claimed me. "The hardware facilities should be the best hotel in Mohe. There is also free airport pick-up and drop-off service. There is a river in front and a forest in the back. The scenery is very good. It is very convenient to take a taxi. It costs 5 yuan to go anywhere. The price is the same for locals and foreigners. It is very practical. The service awareness needs to be improved. There is no flexibility or accommodation. Check out at 1 o'clock. Even if the plane leaves two hours later, they will not allow late check-out. Late check-out costs extra money. You need to pay extra for mineral water. When you ask for cleaning for the extension room, they only change the bath towels. When asked why the bed is not made and the floor is not mopped, they just make it and mop it casually. I have to refute a few words, not to mention wiping the table top, repairing slippers and pulling paper. Overall, for the above advantages, I will stay in this hotel when I go to Mohe in the future because the hardware conditions are good."

The owner saw that our booked room wouldn't accommodate a family of three, so she upgraded us to a better room for free. We arrived very late, and our child was hungry and we hadn't brought any food. Her daughter even gave us a cup of instant noodles – truly a beautiful soul with a kind heart! She was also incredibly warm and hospitable."

The room was bright and clean, the bathroom's separate wet and dry areas were very practical, and the hot water supply was consistent. The staff were all very friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel breakfast was varied and delicious, making for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended! The owner arranged transportation for us wherever we went, which was incredibly helpful! Finally, the owner's wife's Northeastern Chinese cuisine was especially delicious; the dishes were always gone as soon as they were served, and we didn't have to go out to find food—we could eat right at the hotel, which was very convenient."

"The room was spacious and very clean. Since it's newly opened, all the facilities were new, including a smart toilet. The room faced the sun, with a small birch grove outside the window. There was a wooden boardwalk where you could stroll or sit and have tea. The boardwalk had outdoor tables and chairs, and hanging baskets. The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially the various mixed vegetables, which were quite delicious. If you're driving, there's a parking lot right outside, as well as a small vegetable garden with tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, and even mushrooms, a specialty of Northeast China. Overall, it was a very satisfying trip."

"I only saw the aurora because I booked this hotel! When I looked up from the bridge leading to the hotel, everything around me was a bit bright. At first, I thought it was light pollution, but then I noticed several taxi drivers getting out to film it. It wasn't until many locals came over to look and take pictures that we realized it was the aurora. If I had stayed at a different hotel, I probably wouldn't have seen it. The room was large, and the bathroom was nice. The wooden decorations looked a bit old-fashioned in photos, but they weren't at all. There was also a cat and a dog. The owner didn't actively solicit good reviews; this is entirely a subjective assessment."

"Beihong Village is incredibly quiet and beautiful, a truly pristine and comfortable little village. Yuanfang Guli Hotel definitely stands out as a landmark in the village. Located right by the river, it's the perfect spot to watch the sunset and the beautiful morning fog. Upon our arrival, the owner's brother helped us with our luggage and even delivered a box of water to our room, ensuring we had plenty to drink. The hotel rooms are spacious; a triple room could easily fit four people. The bathroom and bedding were very comfortable and clean, giving us peace of mind. In short, the owner genuinely poured their heart into this hotel. It had a unique charm and quality reminiscent of the renowned Songtsam Hotels. The breakfast spread was decent, offering a variety of cold dishes, hot entrees, porridge, corn, eggs, and baozi. All ingredients felt genuinely local and fresh. I'd definitely come back to stay if I get the chance, especially to wait for the Northern Lights."
