"Booked a triple room at this hotel in Oxford this time. The hotel is simple and comfortable. It's a bit of a hassle with large luggage as you have to carry it up a short flight of stairs. The hotel is within walking distance of the university area and offers free parking, which is great for those traveling by car."

"Pros: The room was clean and quite spacious. There are plenty of dining options nearby. The housekeeper was very dedicated; they cleaned our room thoroughly every day and even gave us an extra bottle of water one day, noticing we drank a lot. Cons: My request for a high-floor room made in advance was not fulfilled. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome. They required us to download the Goki app beforehand and self-check-in, but we still had to go to the 24-hour front desk to get the electronic key, which was a hassle. Also, the curtains let in a lot of light, so it was bright by 5 AM every day, significantly affecting my sleep."

"What a beautiful hotel. The hotel was full of character which we adored. The rooms were a delight, lovely decor and exceptionally clean. We hadn’t booked for dinner but the manager was very accommodating and got us in the restaurant. The evening meal was delicious and the breakfast included in our stay was also delicious. We would definitely return. A much needed child free night! Thank you"

"This hotel is super close to Oxford Station, just right next door. From the pictures, I thought it might be a bit old-fashioned, but it seems to have been renovated. The room was relatively spacious and quiet, clean with no strange odors. There are only two floors and it's all stairs, but the staff were very helpful and carried our large luggage upstairs. We were able to store our luggage before check-in, and the front desk even provided a small map with suggested sightseeing routes, which was much appreciated. There's a small supermarket right next door downstairs, which was convenient for picking up supplies. It's also just a 10-minute walk to High Street and plenty of dining and shopping options. Oxford itself is quite small, so getting around is very easy from here."

"The service was decent, with daily cleaning. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. The hotel's downtown location is very convenient for walking around. I imagine the experience would be better if it weren't summer. I was on the third floor, and there's no elevator, but carrying luggage wasn't too difficult, and you can always ask staff for help. The biggest issue was the summer heat. The room got a lot of direct afternoon sun every day, and even though the hotel provided a fan during the European heatwave, it was still hard to sleep. Good to know that the double rooms in the new building have air conditioning."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful, it is a doggy friendly, it has a nice walking area and grasslands, and the hotel is very clean, we had a the amazing breakfast and also some fish and chips at the bar, we did not use the restaurant. It is far away from Downtown Oxford, but that is exactly its charm, a quiet area to wind down. Unfortunately one day the fire alarm woke all of us up at 4am in the morning. Which made us pretty sleepy, there was no compensation for this. It was interesting though to see an English Firetruck from nearby. Extra water bottles or a free drink would have been nice. The pool is only open to children for a very short amount of time. And the Dampfbad was smelling moldy."

We had a very nice stay at the hotel for a week. The staff was very friendly and gave us tips. The location is perfect. We did think some things were more 4 star that a 5 star hotel. A door that doesn’t always properly close in the bathroom and a little larger bed for two persons would be better. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The room key card was very unique. The Alice breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the lobby on the first floor had a nice ambiance. There's a museum right across from the hotel, and a bus stop next to it with service to Bicester Village, and apparently even to Blenheim Palace. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the train station.

This branded hotel offers great value for money and a very convenient location. It's just a 7-minute walk from the train station, and all major attractions are within a 15-minute walk. Plus, there's a mall with plenty of dining and shopping options just 5 minutes away, including a fantastic Hangzhou-style restaurant.

Close to the station and Oxford University, walking attractions are all done. The breakfast is rich and affordable. The room is also very good, spacious and comfortable. The only two dissatisfaction: 1. The old house has no elevator, there is a suitcase to move upstairs, the stairs are particularly narrow. 2. The front desk has to press the credit card 💳. I was afraid of being stolen and wanted to press cash to be rejected. I couldn't stay without giving him a visa credit card message. I was deadlocked for a while. I used the elderly card to press the message and locked the card directly. I don't know why it is so rigid.

The hotel is about five kilometers from Oxford city center, a convenient 10-12 minute taxi ride away. The hotel's front desk manager and several staff members are British and provide good service. There's also a Chinese lady, likely to facilitate communication with Chinese guests. Overall, the facilities are quite good and relatively new. I have two issues though: 1. There's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself; 2. The gym opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 9:30 PM, but they stop allowing entry at 9 PM. The English breakfast is decent and quite authentic. However, the service is generally poor. During my stay, one morning I witnessed a female front desk receptionist arguing with an elderly British man, who seemed extremely upset. This level of service is unacceptable. One evening, I had cod at Leo's restaurant, and it was the worst I've ever tasted. When it was served, it had a slight odor, similar to stinky mandarin fish. It was bland and incredibly dry when I ate it. It smelled bad and tasted like nothing. After two bites, I left it, only eating the sides and fries. The fries were also the worst I've ever had, no exaggeration! Overall, I'd likely stay at this hotel again in the future, but I definitely won't be having dinner at the hotel restaurant.

It’s not really a hotel, but more like a B&B with some hotel like features. Moving up the luggage to the room on the top floor was rather inconvenient although the receptionist,Alex, was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but since there isn’t a restaurant in the accommodation, you’ll have to drive out to find food beyond breakfast. Besides the receptionist Alex, I didn’t quite get a warm feeling when we encountered the hosts, which is unusual given our experience in other cities in the UK so far. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

I can't even imagine it. Attic, I, a big man of 158cm, bumped my head 6 times in one night. Who would dare to imagine? It was so violent that I almost broke my cervical vertebrae. According to our country, it must be a single bed, but it is a double bed. It is extremely hot. There is a small electric fan with a tilted head, which sounds like a tractor. It was a lively night. There is no independent bathroom and the two rooms are shared. One, it’s convenient to take a bath, but I don’t have enough experience. I’m sorry.

Superior location. The hotel has good facilities. In front of the gate is the river. It's safe, too. I do a lot of running in the morning. Next to it is a new shopping mall. Later, I found that there are many noodles to eat. You can also see the scenery outside. Very good.
