Kyoto Hotels with Wifi

"This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and there were a lot of Westerners here. The bathrooms and toilets were very clean and at a comfortable temperature. The only downside is that there are no locks on the doors, so if you have valuables, I recommend keeping them on you. The front desk offers convenient luggage storage. The location is excellent. Downstairs, there's a drugstore and a business supermarket (much cheaper than convenience stores and regular supermarkets), as well as a Starbucks, an onigiri shop, and major department stores and brands on Shijo (Onitsuka Tiger, Daimaru, Uniqlo, Loft, etc.). Kiddyland Kyoto is also downstairs (official store for Japanese IPs like Chiikawa and Sumikko Gurashi). Many items recommended on Xiaohongshu to buy, eat, or play are within a 10-minute walk. Plus, the streets have continuous awnings, so you don't have to worry about carrying an umbrella or getting wet waiting for the bus, as it often rains in Japan. Bus and train stations are nearby, and the Kamo River is about a 10-minute walk away. A city walk there on a nice day is incredibly therapeutic. Have a great trip!"

"Very good location opposite Kyoto Station. We had a room on the 5th floor, which, if I remember correctly, was renovated. It was large and comfortable. I was a bit disappointed with the check-in system, where everyone had to wait until 2:00 PM, a line formed, and then everyone had to check in. Otherwise, everything was quick and convenient."

"We greatly enjoyed our stay at The OneFive - the room was very clean and spacious with relatively new facilities. The hotel was a short 5 min walk from Omiya Station and about 15-20 min walk from the main shopping streets at Kawaramachi / Teramachi. The staff at the check-in counter were also very friendly and helpful!"

"This is my favourite hotel on our travels around Japan. The room size was a little small but it was fine for a few nights as a base to explore Kyoto. It's walking distance from some great sites like Nijo Castle, the Samurai Ninja museum and the bustling market. The transport links are great and easy to get to most places of interest. Staff were very helpful and even rushed to fetch towels when we came in from the rain. There is no restaurant on site so, breakfast is only a bento box but it was so tasty! And there's a fantastic little cafe/restaurant just down the street (to the right as you leave the hotel) which was lovely for dinner. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have a larger selection of manga in English or other languages."

"The room was excellent, much larger than I expected. It's conveniently located for exploring, about 300 meters from the metro station, yet surprisingly quiet. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. We asked for directions twice: the first time, they printed a map for us and explained some local history; the second time, when we wanted to find a shopping mall in the evening, they spent a long time explaining how to get there and even wrote down the mall's name for us. When we checked out in the morning, they proactively asked if we needed luggage storage."

"This hotel is super convenient, right at the Hachijo East Exit of Kintetsu Kyoto Station – just take the escalator down and you're there. There's an indoor shopping street right outside, making it really easy to grab a bite or do some shopping. Plus, a large AEON mall is just a short walk from the station. The hotel service is excellent, and they even offer complimentary afternoon tea and coffee in the restaurant."

"I had a really nice and pleasant stay at the Floral Hotel Mari for 3 nights. You can easily reach Gojo Station on foot. There are also bus stations nearby, and if you like walking, you can reach several hotspots within 30 minutes. The only downside was that there was no hairdryer in the room, which would have been very useful. Also, I want to thank the receptionist, Anki (I hope I spelled it right). She was a big support and very helpful during my stay!"

"The hotel offers luggage storage, which is convenient for dropping off bags before check-in. You just need to pick them up by the end of the day after check-out. They even let me bring my folding bike into the room, even though they initially suggested parking it outside. The biggest highlight is the complimentary drinks and water available in the lobby – both hot and cold. I only had the iced yogurt drink and hot onion soup, as I don't drink coffee. There's also a microwave in the lobby, which I imagine is well-used since the hotel's location is a bit out of the way, making dining and shopping less convenient. The room itself has a safe, fridge, and TV. The bathroom provides bath towels, and toothbrushes and combs are available for self-service in the lobby. The first floor has very high ceilings, with another level above, but the ladder has been removed so I couldn't see what was up there. The bedside table was very clean, but the desk was a bit dirty (perhaps just faded from age), and I spent a long time cleaning it. For a while at night, there was a strange sound in the room, like running water, but no one was using water in the middle of the night. It went on for quite a while, which slightly affected my sleep. Perhaps because it's the off-season, I got a much better deal than usual this time, significantly boosting the value for money. I hope I can find such a great price again if I have the chance to revisit next year."

"Upside: Clean. Quiet. Close to public transport. Nice decoration. Spacious room. Has a luggage rack for the suitcase. Power sockets on each side of the bed. Individual air con inside the room. Downside: Coin laundry is outside, next to the hotel. A bit of a hassle to use. Limited number of washing machines. The water tap in the bathroom is special. Probably better for auto filling the bath. Can't do a small flow."

"Overall, we were very satisfied with the room! The location is very convenient, the facilities are complete, it's clean, and the service is excellent. Our plans changed last minute and we needed to switch room types, and the hotel quickly helped us resolve the issue! We're very pleased and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Kyoto."
