"The hotel's location is fantastic! It's a two-minute walk to the Kawaramachi shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and catching the subway. Plus, there's a yakiniku restaurant right next to the hotel that's delicious and very reasonably priced. A great experience overall!"

"The front desk staff were very polite, but it seemed there weren't any Chinese-speaking staff. The hotel feels a bit old, and it seems to cater more to local Japanese guests rather than mainland Chinese tourists. It's a bit far from Kamo River, and it's about a 2km walk back from the shopping street. It's quite close to the subway station (and two lines intersect there), but in Kyoto, it's generally more convenient to take the bus. Next time, I might choose a hotel with more bus stops right outside. Also, there's no washing machine or laundry room, which is quite inconvenient for extended stays. The water dispenser and ice machine on our floor were also broken... I feel like the facilities could be greatly improved. The onsen (hot spring bath) is small and gets very crowded; the women's bath was almost always full at every time of day. It's like no one wants to shower in their own room's bathtub; everyone prefers the public bath for convenience."

"Everything was very convenient. The hotel is only 5 mins walk to our metro station. Hotel was nice just the internet service was not really that fast but overall was ok."

"Enjoyed the change in environment in Nara and really appreciated the large room which is a huge contrast over the tiny rooms you get in bigger cities. Really appreciated the Japanese bathroom with bathtub. The toilet is also behind a separate door and the sink is outside. Don’t expect much service from the hotel staff though as their selling point is the holographic robot dinosaur who checks you in."

"I only realized upon checking in that this hotel is part of the long-standing Thai brand, Dusit International, which explains why the breakfast mainly offers Japanese and Thai options. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, situated between Shijo and Gojo in Kyoto, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station. The room layout is both unique and practical. The overall public space is very suitable for digital nomads; the first-floor area is very cozy, perfect for working on a laptop during the day, holding meetings, or catching up with friends, and it transforms into a restaurant and bar at night."

"Excellent location, right in the city center. Surrounded by shops and a well-developed transportation network, you can get anywhere. The room is clean, and the appliances and furniture are in excellent condition. All necessary toiletries are provided. Wi-Fi is free. There's also a laundry facility. The staff speaks multiple languages. A tax is charged upon check-in."

"The Millennials Kyoto Capsule Hotel Great location and clean environment, with a really well-designed common area. Even though it's a capsule hotel, it offers good privacy and comfort. I had a great experience staying for several nights in a row, and I'd definitely consider coming back here on my next trip to Kyoto."

"The staff were very welcoming every time I entered the hotel or came down to the lobby, which made the stay feel warm and comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located between two train stations, making it easy to travel around the area. There is also a convenience store right opposite the hotel, and a McDonald’s just around the corner, which adds to the overall convenience. Breakfast is served at the café downstairs, which appears to be a popular local spot as it is always filled with diners. Although the selection is not very wide, the food is quite delicious and satisfying. The room itself is clean and well-maintained, although on the smaller side. Overall, a simple but very convenient and pleasant stay with friendly service and a great location."
