Ulaanbaatar Hotels with Wifi

Pros: Beautiful scenery, friendly people, authentic experience, and delicious food with generous portions. Hot water, tea, and coffee are readily available. Lunch and dinner can be ordered, but breakfast is not a buffet. The restrooms are clean. The yurts have stoves with firewood, heaters, and heated mattresses. Horse riding, regular bikes, and electric bikes are available for a fee. Cons: The facilities are a bit worn down. There was trash under the beds in the yurts. The toilets and showers are separate, which might be inconvenient for some at night. There was a smell of urine, either in or under the yurt. There's no Wi-Fi in the yurts. This year, no flowers were planted, and the museum and massage services are closed, giving it a somewhat neglected feel. The steps are broken, there are gaps between the floor and the yurt walls, and the stove pipe moves in the wind.

Positives: The location was walkable - there is an error to say it’s 20km from main square - it’s 2km away and walkable so location is good. Next to a small mall, food and convenience shop 24x7. It’s super new and everything is so clean and neat. Hot showers. Clean sheets. Aircond in room which is controllable. Fridge. Disposable bath towel, face towel, toothbrush, in-shower shampoo, soap and even conditioner, hair-dryer! Helpful staff. Overall great great stay! And of yah - it’s on the 4th floor but there is a lift thankfully. Negatives: Breakfast is a plan shelf bun - nothing else. They sold my room despite me contacting them to say I was delayed for morning and not night check in and charged me for the day of the bed sold. But they were nice to find me alternative and refund the other. It would have been nice to get a compensation for the shock that the paid bed was not available. Overall staff nice and pleasant. The need to implement recycling cause they was very organized w disposable towels and slippers - but no recycling or attempt to reduce waste. Just need to go a bit green. Karaoke downstairs can be a bit loud.

Modern Comfort Meets Breathtaking Wilderness 🏔️✨ If you are looking for a place in Gorkhi Terelj National Park that perfectly balances modern luxury, endless entertainment, and untouched natural beauty, Imperial Mount Resort is the ultimate choice. The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hostel. The location is excellent—right in the city center and within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and public transport. The hostel was cleaned daily, which made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The internet connection worked well throughout my stay, and having access to Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing in the evenings. The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or requests. There is also a balcony where smoking is allowed, which may be convenient for some guests. A small tip for coffee lovers: if you plan to brew your own coffee, make sure to bring or buy coffee machine filters. Oh, I loved their universal power outlet sockets that fit all plugs 2/3, flat/round, USB, C-something (I can’t recall the name) etc… The only improvement I would suggest is replacing the plastic plates and mugs with ceramic or glass ones, as they would make the experience feel even nicer. Overall, this hostel offers great value for money, a convenient location, and a comfortable atmosphere. I don't think I'll be looking for any other place to stay anytime soon whenever I'm back in Ulaanbaatar.

Fantastic stay in Ulaanbaatar – highly recommended! Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. For a hotel right in the city center during peak season, the price was super reasonable. The room is well-maintained and the decor still feels quite fresh and modern. The location is absolutely perfect. It is within easy walking distance to all the main tourist spots in Ulaanbaatar, such as Sukhbaatar Square, the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, and the State Department Store. Given that traffic in downtown Ulaanbaatar is notoriously bad, walking is definitely much faster than taking a car! I was also impressed by the comprehensive range of toiletries provided. Everything you could possibly need—toothpaste, a comb, a razor, and a shower cap—was all there, and they even included a sewing kit! The staff speak fluent English, making communication a breeze. They were also incredibly helpful—after I checked out to head to Terelj National Park, they kindly assisted me in booking a taxi. If I ever visit Ulaanbaatar again, I will definitely choose to stay here!

The hotel exceeded our expectations! We booked a room for 3 adults and 1 child on our way to Ulaanbaatar. It's not centrally located, but in a quiet area near the train station. This suited us perfectly since we had our own car, and a great bonus was the private parking right outside our window. There's also a CU convenience store nearby for essentials. The breakfast was simple but filling, with Chinese cuisine. It’s best to go around 8 AM, though the chef does replenish dishes later. Our room had a kitchenette, but no sink or necessary utensils, just a fridge (which we didn't use) and a kettle. The room itself was very spacious and clean. Housekeeping came every day. We either had no neighbors or the soundproofing was excellent, as we didn't hear a thing. The only downside was that the radiators were cold, so it was a bit chilly. However, since we were only there to sleep and have breakfast, we barely noticed it. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a good, quiet place with breakfast and private parking at a great price!

This hotel offered exceptional hospitality, thanks to its wonderful staff! As a solo traveler, I chose this hotel for my last night before flying home. I considered hotels closer to the city center, but with an early morning flight and knowing Ulaanbaatar's traffic can be heavy, I opted for a hotel as close to the airport as possible. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted in English and given a tour of the hotel before being escorted to my room. The room was very spacious with three beds and a full range of amenities. The hairdryer I had requested in advance was also thoughtfully provided. Although I hadn't planned to tour Ulaanbaatar city, I had some free time, so I asked the hotel staff for directions to the city center. They kindly arranged a taxi for me. However, when I tried to call a taxi for my return, I couldn't manage to arrange one using my mobile phone. I contacted the hotel via Trip.com, and they responded quickly. They helped me communicate with the hotel staff, who then provided me with a taxi account, and I was able to return to the hotel safely. I was quite distressed and anxious as a solo female traveler in a foreign country, so their prompt assistance brought me immense relief. I had also arranged airport transfer from the hotel. The one-way trip cost $25, and I intended to pay by credit card. However, it seems cash is the primary payment method for taxis in Mongolia, so I needed to have cash in USD. To my dismay, I couldn't withdraw Tugrik from any ATM in Ulaanbaatar using my credit card to exchange for dollars. When I explained this to the staff, they incredibly accompanied me to a convenience store near the hotel to help me with the ATM withdrawal! A staff member who spoke Japanese also came along. Although I still couldn't withdraw Tugrik there, they then told me, ”Japanese Yen is fine,” and even negotiated with the taxi driver on my behalf. In the end, I paid the equivalent of $25 in Japanese Yen cash and made it to the airport without any issues. Despite the travel troubles, the staff handled everything with such professionalism and kindness; they were truly a lifesaver. What truly stood out was their attentiveness: accompanying me, a foreign traveler, to the ATM, suggesting payment in Japanese Yen, and being so genuinely helpful until the very end. I highly recommend preparing $25 in cash beforehand, so you don't face the same situation as me. As a solo traveler, I had many anxieties, but thanks to the wonderful staff at this hotel, I felt safe and was able to return to Japan without incident. Thank you very much.

The location is excellent, with many cafes nearby, and the hotel itself is located inside a shopping center. The staff is attentive! There were no problems with parking the car; it's located inside the shopping center. To exit, you just need to show your car number (it's free). The breakfasts are modest. If I'm ever in Ulaanbaatar again, I'll definitely stay here! P.S. There's a railway nearby, but it didn't bother me.

The room was better than I expected, and more than enough for one person. The window overlooked Sukhbaatar Square, and the carpet inside was very clean and had a distinct Mongolian feel. Drinking water, coffee, and all necessary toiletries were provided. The only slight drawback was that the heating didn't seem very strong, but everything else was perfect. Transportation was convenient, and there were several convenience stores downstairs.

Room: The hotel needs to clean the room thoroughly, not just the bathroom but also the carpeted area, and fix the base board moldings as well as the loose heater radiator which supposed to be anchored down to the wall. Although the room is carpeted wall to wall, I can see bare floor on the edges and the corners. Location: Not good, but at the same time not bad either. All attractions are within $3~$4 away which is more than I paid in other ~stan countries nearby. May be it is a Mongoljan thing, but for me it wasn't easy to hire taxi cab unless I am willing to pay the extra tips. The front staffs: Very friendly and eager to provide help. Not all of them speaks English, but it is not a problem since they translator app is widely available. Furnitures in the room: Very old, and there are wears and tears every part of the furniture. I don't know the other rooms, but the room I was given was too small for the furnitures to be placed in first place. Overall: I wouldn't stay here again. The over all conditions of the hotel was not even close to the pictures shown in the trip.com app. If you select this hotel based on the pictures, you would be very disappointed if you are given the room I stayed in. Avoid Room 602 anyway you can.
