We stayed here with our family and relatives, and it was a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The room was clean and cozy. There wasn’t Wi-Fi, but it honestly helped us disconnect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings even more. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the beef khuushuur. The mushroom boortsog served at breakfast was absolutely amazing. We were able to truly relax and enjoy the quiet, beautiful nature. My 3-year-old sibling and my 5-year-old sibling loved it so much that when we returned to the city, they kept saying they wanted to go back. Our whole family will definitely be visiting again.

The room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping staff were diligent. However, the hotel's liaison for Trip.com customers provided very poor service. They did not address or act on my request to adjust the check-in date, even though it was still a month away, which significantly impacted my overall experience. Similarly, the Trip.com liaison for this matter was also very poor, offering only robotic responses and showing no effort to advocate for the customer. When I return to Ulaanbaatar in the future, I will not choose this hotel again. The prices are comparable to five-star hotels like Kempinski, but the service is far from it.

The room was very clean, and there are CU and GS25 convenience stores nearby, as well as Chinese restaurants, making it very convenient. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, so communication was seamless. A special thanks to Batorgil for helping me choose a newly renovated floor, it was very comfortable!

A really excellent hotel! The reception staff are so friendly and professional, and they speak very good English. They helped give me directions to nearby ATMs and also called a taxi service for me to go to the airport on my last day. The room was always very clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a laundry service that is quite cheap, and it was very convenient - you just have to put your dirty clothes in a bag and give it to reception, and they will return it to your room (usually on the same day). The breakfast was also delicious - a combination of a cooked breakfast, fruits, yoghurts, salad, cereals and cakes, along with tea, coffee and juice. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would definitely come back!

Fantastic. Got in late and met a guy from New Zealand who helped me out. Met connections from Australia completely by accident which hope will lead to job interviews. Close to city centre. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are not 5 star but suited needs and the staff do everything to make you comfortable. I took advantage of the gym and the sauna and also used the breakfast restaurant. Very good. Beer was also on tap and service was appreciated. Will definatly stay here again and highly recommended.

The hotel is close to many restaurants and a shopping mall called Max Mall. I have some good and not so good things to share about the hotel before anyone decides to stay here. The best person to speak to at the hotel is definitely a lady called Narandulam. She is the general manager, has excellent English, and is very knowledgeable. She was incredibly helpful and able to assist with everything. The hotel also allowed me to leave my suitcases there free of charge, so thank you to everyone for that! Ulaanbaatar has a massive traffic problem due to a lack of efficient public transportation. So, although the hotel is in a good location, actually getting there can be a nightmare. After one of my day trips, I was stuck in traffic for 3 hours! 😩 I also had issues with the showers in two different rooms. The water doesn’t drain properly and ended up flooding into the room. This is definitely something the hotel needs to fix. Another small issue was that the receptionist (I’m not sure of her name) didn’t speak enough English to help with basic questions, such as “Where is the closest ATM?” For anyone wondering, there is an ATM across the road, and another one inside Max Mall.

We stayed at Platinum Hotel in Ulaanbaatar with my wife, and overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. We booked a Deluxe King-size room, and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a beautiful view over the city, which we really enjoyed, especially in the evenings. The bed was large and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any requests and making us feel at home throughout our stay. Their attitude really added to the overall positive impression of the hotel. Breakfasts were also excellent — a good variety of options, everything fresh and tasty, and a great way to start the day. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend Platinum Hotel to anyone visiting Ulaanbaatar. It’s a great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and friendly service, and we would happily stay here again in the future.

Before coming here, I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, worried that there would be various problems, but now I can say with confidence that this is a hotel that you can stay in with confidence. The price is not high in Ulaanbaatar, and the location is relatively superior. There is a shopping mall under construction across the street, and it is a 20-minute walk from the central city. The hotel also has its own cafe on the first floor, where you can rest for a while. It is more conspicuous from a distance, but it is a bit winding when walking, and it is not so easy to find. There is a sign of a Korean restaurant on the first floor, which is confusing. There are other high-rise buildings near the hotel, but they do not block the view seriously. It is 4km away from the train station, about 40 minutes walk. When we arrived at around 10:30, the hotel was very considerate and checked in in advance. The room is large and refreshing, the bed is soft, there is 24h hot water (not necessarily available in Mongolian hotels), a large bathtub, comfortable towels, and the quality of the shower gel provided is also good. The problem is that there are too few sockets. There are two in the whole room, and one is in the bathroom...not very convenient. One is that there is no room service. Because I only stayed for two nights and communication was inconvenient, I did not ask for cleaning. But overall, it is a good choice for staying in Ulaanbaatar.

The room was clean. However, the pantry door below the kitchen was gone, not finished, the wall in the shower booth was not finished and the water in the bathroom was cloaked.  I tried to communicate with the staff in the front office. However, could not communicate due to poor English skills. I don’t know whether it is Mongolian people or just that particular hotel.

There are convenience stores and Korean and Chinese restaurants inside the hotel building, so it was very convenient to solve meals and necessities. Location and breakfast are average, but overall it was a good choice to stay.
