"This is our second year coming to Thailand for EDC, and I recommended this hotel to my friends. Everyone agreed it's great value for money! The location is perfect – just a few steps to the beach, and there are restaurants nearby open until the early hours. It's also a short walk to the shopping mall and Banzaan Market. The staff are all lovely and always smiling. However, why was the shower water so inconsistent this year? It was either freezing cold or scalding hot, making it impossible for women to wash their hair properly. I hope this can be improved next time."

"This hotel is located right by Bangtao Beach. Across the street, there's a Tops supermarket for all your basic shopping needs, plus plenty of restaurants, massage parlors, and a night market, all at reasonable prices. Each building in the hotel is a three-story structure with no elevator, only stairs. The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a good size and kept very clean, with no broken facilities. There are a limited number of power outlets. The bathroom had no strange odors, but the showerhead is fixed, and the tap water quality isn't great – it sometimes runs yellow. Rooms come with an electric kettle and a small fridge that can even make ice, which is handy. The breakfast selection is quite varied, with different dishes offered daily, and the food tastes good. There are multiple swimming pools, including a kids' pool with slides and other facilities. The indoor kids' play area is small and has age restrictions. It’s just a few minutes' walk to the beach, where the hotel offers free sun loungers and sofas, though they tend to be occupied mostly by Caucasians. The beach is great for swimming, with fine sand and clear water. You'll find many restaurants and massage shops along the beach, but they are a bit pricier than those outside the resort. Overall, it's a good place for a pure resort-style vacation."

"We had a really good stay at Homa Hotel. The highlight was definitely the infinity pool—you can enjoy a beautiful, unobstructed sunset view right from the pool, which made the experience even more special. The hotel is also very family-friendly, with a kids’ room available that kept the little ones entertained. Another big plus is the location: it’s within walking distance to the famous night market, and there’s a 7-Eleven about 10 minutes away, which was very convenient. Overall, a pleasant and enjoyable stay that we would happily recommend."

"After staying two nights at the Sheraton, we moved to this hotel for three nights. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping. However, the noise from nearby bars made it really hard to sleep. Also, the cleanliness was just okay; we even saw a small cockroach! The towels on the first day weren't very clean, and the replacement on the second day felt a bit worn out. The slippers weren't disposable, and I wasn't sure if they had been sanitized, so I wasn't keen on wearing them. Finally, regarding breakfast, since our booking didn't include it, we paid extra to try it once. It was pretty standard, not a huge variety, but enough to fill you up. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're a light sleeper, or if the price is significantly inflated."

"I had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was nice but quite small, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast, in particular, was absolutely exceptional, one of the highlights. However, there were a few issues that affected the overall experience: 1. Hot water wasn’t available in the mornings when you typically need it the most. 2. The water pressure was quite low until the maintenance team came to fix it. 3. The washroom also had a constant unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. 4. Additionally, the boxing arena right in front of the hotel created a lot of noise, especially during the evenings. 5. We had to ask for a few amenities (soap and slippers) Overall, it wasn’t the most comfortable stay, but you do get what you pay for. Because of the helpful staff and outstanding breakfast, I’m giving this hotel a positive rating."

"Very friendly staff, kind and welcoming. The room wasn't the cleanest, dust and sand in the corners, shower sealent needed replacing urgently. There is nothing going on after about 10pm, this suited us well as we went out every evening and it meant no loud music interrupting sleep. Due to the doors of the rooms, soundproofing is poor, so if you have load neighbours expect to be disrupted. The pool area is fantastic, warm water, plenty of sunbeds no matter the time, fresh towels for pool in room daily. No sunbed wars. Lifeguards were very vigilant. We paid extra for a pool facing ”swim up” type room. Pointless as you are not provided a lock for the sliding doors, so unless you're happy to leave your room open you need to go out of the front door and walk around. When we rented a scooter, (which we highly recommend only 500 bhat a day!), we felt safe leaving it in the car park as the security guards were great."

"The hotel is good value for money, the towels, 2 bottles of water and new sheets are provided daily. The bathroom soap, shampoo are also provided, but they can forget to put the new ones, but you can ask for them. The location is good, but it is 10 mins walk to the beach (Karon) by a busy street full of traffic, but there are a lot of restaurants and pharmacies as well. The balcony has a good view."

"Fantastic value for money. Stayed here a few year back under the name Bauman Residence and it was good then but now as Elite Suites it has improved. The staff throughout were so polite and welcoming. Always smiling and being pleasant and helpful. Hotel very well maintained and cleaned. Pool bar promotions and happy hours are better than any of the bars on the island. Good bar snacks selection of well prepared food. Stayed for 10 nights in total across 2 bookings. Rebooked for October before checking out."

AAnonymous UserThe resort isn't very big, a rectangular area, and the villa section takes up a significant portion, so there's limited space for activities. BUT! There's a beautiful, uncrowded beach, haha! The coastline is very long, which is a huge plus. The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a mix of new and old. For instance, some of the bathroom fixtures are clearly old, but the doors, windows, and furniture look new. At the very least, the grout and wall seams have been redone and look pristine. The air conditioning is incredibly efficient, and the room is well-insulated – even after being out with the power off for half the day, it's still chilly when you come back in. The room provides a clothes drying rack on the balcony for dripping wet clothes and swimsuits, which is a thoughtful touch. However, the BBQ buffet dinner, which costs over 2000 THB per person, doesn't include any basic beverages, only water. The BBQ items are so few you can count them on one finger, non-BBQ items on another finger, and desserts/fruits on a third finger. There were only two or three seafood options. My child is sensitive, so after removing what they couldn't eat, spicy dishes, and disliked flavors, there was almost nothing left! Can you believe we couldn't find two dishes they'd dare to eat from the entire buffet? The breakfast selection is much richer than the dinner buffet, and it's only a quarter of the price... but the dishes were exactly the same every day. After two days, we started missing 7-Eleven. This isn't some isolated island with supply difficulties; would it be so hard to come up with more rotating menus? Please offer more variety for guests staying multiple nights.

EES SoHad a great time while staying at Noku, super b Villa Mint is big and comfortable to stay with friends and family. It even includes snack, fruit and drinks in villa which are complimentary for us to enjoy when we stay by the private pool. Very enjoyable and pleasant! The breakfast at the hotel is a highlight during our stay. It was served in buffet style with egg and noodles station. Although the selection is not super wide, it’s more than enough to enjoy as the quality and the freshness of the food are above average, some of them even exceeded our expectations. Overall, we enjoyed the moment at the hotel so much and we will definitely coming back for vacation again ❤️

GGuest UserWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty.  The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7. Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget. Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughter’s talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.

We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless. The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel. IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach – just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave! The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

KKLorraineOverall, it was a very good stay. Orn was nice and accommodating and even helped move me to a higher floor the next day. Berna from the restaurant was also friendly and took the time to chat, which was really nice. The room was refreshed while I was out during the day, which was great, but it would’ve been helpful to be informed beforehand since my personal belongings were left around. Just a small note — the bathrobe wasn’t set up initially, and only two pillows were provided for a room meant for two guests, so I had to request extra pillows.

XXiaolian2019We actually stayed here for five consecutive days! It was a very pleasant stay, and I really wanted to write more! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The owner is Chinese and has been consistently upgrading the linens. The service was attentive; one night, our Indian neighbors were on a loud call at 2:30 AM, and the owner, contacted via WeChat, promptly resolved the issue! The guesthouse environment is very comfortable, with squirrels, cats 🐱, and other small animals! The sea is right outside the door, as is a local night market! The food stalls at the entrance are also affordable and delicious 😋! I loved it! And for only two to three hundred during peak season, the price is unbeatable!!

KKelly8692Pros - it is quite near to Phuket International Airport - around 30-35mins. The Resort is very big, near to the sea and provides free shuttle to Kata & Karon Beach and free Kayaking to the guests. We had the sea view room and the view everyday was great. The location is very far from central/downtown which is why it is very peaceful to stay here. The rooms are slightly outdated, but they are kept very clean so the outdated part doesn't feel much. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Overall its a nice resort to stay for a short while as it is quite far. Cons - For the 4days we stayed there, we did not like the breakfast as much. The breakfast area and view was very good, but every time we went for breakfast - it was always served cold. No matter we went early or late for breakfast, the food was always cold. There is a lot of variety in breakfast but none of them tasted good because it was always cold or not warm enough. The resort is really very far - around 1hrs 20min from the main tourist areas like Kata, Patong and Karon beach, so if you are planning to travel to these places - plan accordingly. As it is expensive and far to travel back to the resort. Also since it is far - there is no market or small shops nearby the hotel that you can walk up to in the evening. The only choice is to stay at the resort, swimming pool or inside the resort because the road that drives up to the resort is quite steep to walk. Overall it was a comfortable stay but it was a bit of hassle with the breakfast and travel back to the resort. This is why I am giving 4stars.
