DDoriBoriI had a very pleasant 7 days stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel.
📍 Location is excellent — shops, market, bus stop, and Patong Beach are all within walking distance. There’s also a wonderful Thai massage salon (Thai Erawan) right on the corner. If you want to visit nearby beaches, a taxi ride is only about 100 THB.
🛏️ Room was comfortable and clean, with daily housekeeping available on request. The room is a bit worn but well-maintained, the bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated having a smart TV and sofa. My room didn’t have a balcony and the window looked out onto another hotel, so I kept the curtains closed most of the time — but this wasn’t a big issue for me.
🧹 Housekeeping did a great job — everything was tidy. Once I even accidentally left my bag open with money inside, and nothing was touched, which speaks volumes about the honesty of the staff.
🍽️ Food — no breakfast service, but within 3–5 minutes you can find plenty of cafes and restaurants for any taste.
🌐 Wi-Fi was stable and fast, though the network is open (no password), so I mostly used mobile data.
✨ Other highlights: a pleasant lobby area where you can wait for food or package deliveries.
💰 Value — absolutely worth the money. No deposit required, and I was even allowed to check in early since my room was ready — much appreciated! Staff were kind, polite, and very reliable. ♥

The Chinese front desk provides timely weather updates like a meteorological consultant and helps adjust the itinerary. The spacious room becomes a comfortable viewing platform on rainy days. The 24-hour front desk and luggage storage service allow us to go out whenever the rain stops, without worrying about luggage and check-out time. In variable weather, this flexibility is particularly important.

22morrowsworldMy initial thought on this accommodation business is in some ways positive. If it is viewed purely as a 'hostel' with an associated coffee shop, then it definitely has attributes (and I'll come back to those later).
But if taken at face value on the basis of its tariff cost and amenities, both real and indicated, then there are several problems with it. The first is the way the premises is represented on the Trip com platform.
Photographs of the double bedroom include one of a bathroom. The attached text description and its context makes the plain implication that the room has an ensuite bathroom, which it does not. If little scrutiny is applied when reading the description, this fact will escape the readers attention. Anyone looking to make a reservation quickly can easily be misled (inadvertently?) into believing that this is a 'hotel' style room. Many hostels do offer rooms with ensuite bathrooms after all. The bathroom is communal and is inconveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are above this.
A second related criticism is the room size description - 18 m sq is quoted. The room has dimensions of 3 x 3.5 m. That is, about 10 m sq !
Although late February is still peak season in Phuket, it has to be said that the room tariff of almost $60 AUD per night is exorbitant. It may be considered acceptable for a 18 m sq hotel style room, given the circumstances, but a room of this kind at this particular locality ought to be offered at a lower price. Having said this, I concede that the reservation was made late and in haste.
Now onto the good things. The 10 m sq double bed room has old but high quality wooden furniture which serves its purpose well. The air conditioning is responsive and strong
There is a large kitchen next to the bathroom/wash basin (trough). It's equipped with a large fridge, sink, cutlery etc as well as a coffee maker ( + ground coffee). A delicious banana cake was offered to guests. Clothes can be washed and dried via a coin operated machine.
Other attributes include the woman owner/ manager who has a professional approach and an attitude very well suited to the hospitalality jndustry. The coffee shop also makes decent coffees and ham n cheese croissants.

ZZin_KoI spent three nights here, and it was definitely the best decision to pick this hostel. It's nice and clean. The wifi is super fast, and you can even use it from your bed, not just in the lobby. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. A big thank you to ”Joy”, ”Kim”, and the ”Burmese girl - Htoo Htoo” for your amazing service; keep it up! If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back ✌️

The room included a hairdryer, kettle, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, a safe, towels, shampoo, shower gel, and toiletries. Slippers and robes were not provided.

AAmigo787The hotel staff is not very friendly, the rooms are quite cozy, the bed is very hard and wrapped in cellophane, which is uncomfortable. You can book for two nights, but I would not recommend for more. Opposite the hotel, another hotel is being renovated, they start drilling from the very morning, making noise, it is impossible to sleep. The construction will wake you up at about 7 am.
Also, on the first floor of the hotel there are two workstations, convenient if you need to work on your laptop (photo of the work area is uploaded)

GGuest UserLocated between two bars, the door has the Sundiva logo on it to help guide you. I think most people who come to Sundiva have trouble finding it because of its small entrance, but it gets wider once you go inside. Great place overall!
