"A nice, clean hotel with a pleasant atmosphere. The check-in process was quick and smooth, which was a great start to the stay. Pros: The area is small but cozy and well-maintained, creating a relaxing environment. There is a swimming pool, and the breakfasts are delicious with a good variety of options. Cons: The pool is only open until 6 PM, which might be disappointing for some guests. Also, if you are sensitive to noise, it could be difficult to fall asleep."

"I booked the sea view romance suite with jacuzzi 2409, top floor corner unit. We loved our unit so much! The view… the design, the jacuzzi. Everything is amazing. Delicious breakfast, stunning rooftop bar and gourmet restaurant…! We didn’t have the time to try the spa but it was amazing for sure. The pool isn’t huge but all in marble and has an incredible sea view. Last but not least, the staff is very polite and welcoming. We will come back 😊!"

"For Muslim Travellers, it's safe with Halal food. As we stays in family connecting room, which is perfect and also have a living space in between. I was travelling with kids and their Kids Pool & Play zone is good. Breakfast has sufficient menu. Cons: The hotel is kind of aged but many won't bother much. Photos: Some views from the Hotel."

"We recently spent a wonderful few days at Kalima Resort and had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The service truly stands out. We were able to check in around 1 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3 PM, which was a very welcome relief after our journey. All the hotel staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. You can feel the high level of service and a genuine desire to make guests' stays comfortable. The breakfasts here are simply magnificent – some of the best we've had in Thailand. There's a huge selection of dishes to suit every taste: a variety of pastries, a chocolate fountain, Nutella and peanut butter, several types of meat, fish, sushi rolls, chicken shawarma, and much more. Everything is beautifully presented, and the dishes are constantly replenished; nothing runs out, even closer to the end of breakfast service. We stayed in a sea-view room, and this view was the highlight of our stay at the hotel. The panorama is so breathtaking that it feels like you're on an observation deck with a nearly 240-degree view. The glass balconies and floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors allow you to enjoy the sea even without leaving your room. The room itself is very cozy and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained, green, and very photogenic. The pool is nice and comfortable, although the stunning views remained the main draw of the hotel for us. The location is also good: if you're traveling by scooter or car, you can reach Patong in just a few minutes. Walking isn't very convenient, but this wasn't a drawback for us. Kalima Resort left us with very fond memories. It's a place we'd love to return to for the amazing views, excellent service, and truly luxurious breakfasts."

"This was my favorite hotel during my stay in Phuket, and I'll definitely be back! The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming ❤️ The food was delicious, and the environment was absolutely beautiful. There's also a lovely, friendly cat at the hotel. They even decorated our room for us, making for truly wonderful memories."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (8.0/10)‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Overall, I would rate this hotel 8 .0 out of 10. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the environment was peaceful and enjoyable. The staff were generally pleasant, and the property itself provided a good experience. The environment has an awful smell too‼️‼️‼️‼️ However, the main reason I am not giving this hotel a higher rating is because of the floating breakfast experience, which was honestly disappointing. Guests are charged an additional fee of around 850–1,000 Baht for the floating breakfast, while a regular breakfast costs only about 350–500 Baht. For that premium price, I expected a much better experience and more value for money. The floating breakfast looks beautiful in photographs and is perfect for social media content. Unfortunately, it seems designed more for pictures than for actually enjoying a meal. The food selection was quite limited, and there was not enough variety considering the extra amount being charged. Another issue is that while trying to take pictures, the food remains exposed for a long time. In my experience, insects were attracted to the food, making it less enjoyable to eat afterward. Also, because the tray is floating in the pool, water can sometimes splash into the food and drinks. By the time you finish taking photos and videos, parts of the meal may no longer be appetizing. What disappointed me most was learning that guests who pay extra for the floating breakfast are not allowed to also access the regular breakfast option. After spending a significant amount on the floating breakfast, I felt there should at least be some flexibility or access to the standard breakfast buffet. Instead, it felt like I paid extra mainly for the photo opportunity rather than for a satisfying breakfast experience. My honest advice to future guests is this: book the floating breakfast only if your goal is to take beautiful pictures. If your priority is enjoying a good breakfast, the regular breakfast may provide better value for money. Apart from this issue, I enjoyed my stay, which is why I am still giving the hotel a solid 8.5/10. Improving the floating breakfast experience would easily make this a much stronger overall rating."

"I saw some people mention discrimination, but I really don't think that's the case. Some folks just need to chill out. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were incredibly friendly and even helped me upgrade my room at my own expense. They also kept my phone safe when I left it at the front desk – truly a fantastic experience. The breakfast area was a bit warm, but the fans made it bearable. There are pools everywhere in the hotel, and because the ecosystem is so good, you'll see small animals around. Perfect for just relaxing!"

"Good value for money. It's located across from The Gig hotel, where you do check-in, check-out, have breakfast, and use the pool. So, the reception is at The Gig; there's no reception at Gu. Google Maps often leads you astray, including to a hotel called 'We.' Maybe it's the same chain, I'm not sure. It would be good for the owners and managers of Gu to sort out how and where their hotel appears on maps. They take a 1000 baht deposit, which is returned upon check-out! The room has everything you need, including a kettle, 4 black tea bags, coffee sachets, 2 cups, 2 teaspoons, and 2 pool towels."

"Unlike the previous review, we also stayed in room 2101, and we loved everything. It really depends on how you look at it. While the furniture was slightly worn, its condition didn't detract from our vacation. The housekeepers cleaned our room daily, it was tidy and unobtrusive. Having a private pool in the room was amazing! The main pool was clean, no complaints there. The staff were friendly and not intrusive. A special shout-out to the bartender! Anything that wasn't quite right in the room upon check-in was immediately fixed. The kitchenware set was small, but we weren't there to cook anyway. The only thing really missing was a microwave in the room. All in all, we had a wonderful 10-day stay, and we wish the same for everyone! :)"

"We booked a luxury sea view room and a pool villa, which are single-story bungalows nestled in the hills just around the corner from Patong and Karon beaches. However, the location also presented some inconveniences. Firstly, getting from the lobby to the rooms required calling the hotel's 'Tuk-tuk,' which meant waiting. If you walked uphill, even with good stamina, it would take about 6-8 minutes. Secondly, because it's built into the hillside and integrates with nature, there were more crawling insects and mosquitoes. I got quite a few mosquito bites, and at night, there were sometimes strange animal sounds outside. Luckily, I knew this beforehand, so I wasn't too scared. Thirdly, the property is a bit old, and the facilities definitely need renovation and maintenance. The air conditioning was so loud it affected my sleep. On the second night, I simply turned off the AC and used the ceiling fan before bed, which was quiet and not too hot. The dining here was pretty good; breakfast was ample, and dinner tasted nice! You just have to get used to shooing away the fruit flies. There's a path from the public pool leading to Karon Beach, but the downside is I got bitten quite a bit along the way. In summary, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay and beach time, this place is decent! But for going to lively areas, you'll need to book a ride-sharing service."
