Phuket Hotels with Water Park

"This hotel is perfect! Karon Beach is just a short walk to the right, and all the essentials like car rentals, restaurants, pharmacies, and 7-Elevens are nearby. The resort's standout features are the pools and several slides, which are incredibly fun – kids and adults alike can't get enough. It's mostly occupied by Westerners, especially Russians; you rarely see other Chinese guests. It's incredibly hard to book, often selling out far in advance; I was lucky to snag the last available room. The front desk staff, with a smile, asked why I wasn't staying two more nights – if only I could have booked one! The staff are warm and friendly; when my foot was sore and made walking difficult, they gave me a room closer to the pool and even upgraded me to a family room. The room facilities were complete and in excellent condition, with the air conditioning being particularly good. If I had to find a fault, it would be the breakfast, which was definitely Western-centric, but still edible. There were even staff at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and all the signs had Chinese translations. I honestly don't understand the mindset of those who constantly claim discrimination against Chinese people here."

"Upon arrival at the pier, hotel staff were waiting outside McDonald's, holding a clear sign with the hotel name. If you couldn't spot them, you could easily ask any of the other staff members nearby, as they all seemed to know each other. Our luggage was efficiently transported on a trolley by staff, and we then walked to the hotel. The room we stayed in was very spacious and didn't overlook the pool, which I personally found to be a huge advantage. The pool-facing rooms get extremely crowded, and having a lot of noisy people right outside your door would definitely be annoying. Make sure to double-lock your balcony door when you head out, as it's possible to access the room from the outside balcony. Diving equipment is not provided. Considering it was the low season, the price offered excellent value."

"I'd say it was just so-so. We brought my wife and child here for Chinese New Year, and paying just over 1,000 baht a night was acceptable. We booked a family room, but they gave us one of the furthest rooms from the lobby and restaurant, which was a long walk (maybe because we checked in very late that day). Anyway, I was mentally prepared before coming, so I was fine with whatever room they gave us. There are two 7-Elevens, one on each side of the hotel, both about a 3-5 minute walk away. Kata Beach is about an 8-minute walk, so it's very close and convenient. Service: Too many people, so you barely feel any special service. Environment: Personally, I think only the rooms by the pool offer a beautiful environment. The pool is nice, and the slide is good. That's a plus. Cleanliness: Average. There were ants in the room. We didn't mind, but I have to be honest. Facilities: This hotel is about 7-8 years old. The amenities in the room are comparable to a Quanji Hotel back in China."

"1. **Location:** The location is excellent. We specifically chose Karon Beach because it's relatively quiet with soft sand, perfect for kids. The hotel is right on Karon Beach; you just cross a small road to get to the beach. Next to the hotel, there are massage shops, a 7-Eleven, restaurants, street food stalls, and various small vendors. I highly recommend the restaurant 'P'YAI' nearby. We couldn't get a table on our first attempt, but we went back the next day, and the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. 2. **Room:** The hotel has a U-shaped layout with two pools in the center. The rooms are in buildings 1-10, circling the pools. I'd read reviews saying guests were often assigned to building 5, which is the furthest inside, so we were lucky to be in building 9, which is very close to the front desk. We booked a family connecting room, which actually consists of two separate rooms with a connecting door that can be opened. There were three beds in total – two large beds and one small bed – which was perfect for our group of three adults and two children. The room's cleanliness was just okay; there were many imperfections, like unwashed stains on the sheets. The balcony was great; we could sit there and watch the kids play in the water, and clothes dried quickly. The hairdryer was very basic, so I'd recommend bringing your own if you need a good one. 3. **Pools:** The hotel has two pools, which are sufficient for kids to splash around in. However, they aren't ideal for actual swimming due to their shallow depth and limited length. The pool edges are rocky, making it easy for children to scrape their feet and knees. 4. **Breakfast:** The breakfast was decent; enough to fill you up. Sitting outside was very pleasant, and we even saw little birds come by to peck at food on the ground. 5. **Service and Environment:** The front desk service was alright. On our first day, a staff member helped us with our luggage, and we tipped him. You can book taxis at the hotel front desk, though it's a bit pricier than hailing one directly. There were a lot of Western guests, many of whom had children. Overall, it was a very successful booking and an excellent choice."

"Great location, just south of Patong Beach, though it can get a bit crowded, lol. **Cleanliness:** Generally good. The breakfast restaurant occasionally had flies, but it wasn't a major issue. Perhaps the overall cleanliness in Patong Beach isn't the best, but the hotel itself was quite clean. **Ambiance:** Very comfortable. The hotel has four pools, and the kids' pool has a big slide which kept the children entertained for hours. **Room:** Not huge, but sufficient. It had a bathtub. Bottled water was plentiful, and kids' toiletries were provided."

"Pros: Excellent location, close to the beach, nice hotel environment, with children's entertainment facilities, and a rich breakfast. Cons: The hardware facilities are a bit old, the lobby is quite low-end and very hot. There were no welcome drinks or towels upon check-in, instead, they had a Starbucks where you had to buy your own. For a family-friendly hotel, it's not very accommodating to children; we were charged an additional 4200 Thai Baht for 4 nights for a child not occupying a bed (whereas many other hotels in Phuket offer free stays for children). Furthermore, the hotel doesn't offer Chinese-speaking service. The check-in time is late and check-out time is early (3 PM check-in, 11 AM check-out), which goes against international norms."

"Location: very convenient and easy to get to from the HKT airport, it’s about 10mins ride. Since it’s closer to the airport you would hear airplane sounds all the time but it’s fun to watch it time to time when you are at the beach! Room: very nice spacious room with a kitchen and balcony. We were able to relax at bathtub too. However we had many problems for our room. Shower and bathtub water wasn’t working and safety box too. Then phone kept ringing every few minutes, for some reason customers call came to our room which was super annoying. So we had to deal with them at the first night and we were not able to relax at all…but a manager dealt with sincere attitude and engineers came rough away and fixed shower problem which was nice. Reception manager called Narn was kind and nice he dealt the situation kindly and showed us a gesture of kindness. So we felt our stay was still lovely. Breakfast: There are great variety of foods including pastries, fruits and drinks. What I really like was that they change their menu everyday so we were able to tasty different type of food. We enjoyed it to the full and satisfied. Service: very nice stuffs with gentle smile and sincere and warm hospitality. They are all polite and kind. One time at the beach bar a girl kept telling me that I cannot order in room food service from our room so she kept telling me to come back and pay at the restaurant or bat which I did. But when I went back other stuffs told me I was able and order from our room..,that was quite inconvenient since it takes about 10mins walk from our room to the beach…so hope they can inform correct information to customers… But over all our stay was lovely with beautiful environment and clean ocean so we would love to come back here again if there is a chance!"

"The rooms are a bit small and they don't provide toothpaste, toothbrushes, or soap. They do offer a shuttle service to three different beaches. Right outside, there's a 7-Eleven, and next to it are some small restaurants and food stalls. There are two swimming pools, including a kids' pool. This place isn't ideal for a long Phuket vacation, but it's a good option if you just need a place to stay overnight."

"Good location, lots of shops, restaurants and massage places around the corner, beach 6 minutes walk. hotel is a bit older, but OK for a few nights. The room was clean and the bed super comfy. the ambiance is so so, big blocks of hotel buildings and smaller main pool area, with lots of kids. Facilities were OK, not modern, but enough what I needed. No luxury, just practical."

"The hotel was very clean. While the room wasn't huge, it was perfectly fine for three people, and I even heard they provide complimentary extra beds for children. The location is excellent; you can get to the beach in just 3-4 minutes from the back exit. Also, the second restaurant past the back exit serves some pretty good food. There are two swimming pools, which offer plenty of fun for kids. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located right across the street, and it's super easy to access the night market."
