"When I visited Bipenggou this time, I booked the Namu Lake Resort Hotel mainly because it's advertised as 'the only hotel within the scenic area.' My experience was that while the location is indeed unbeatable, the details really need some refinement. If you're driving, there's a dedicated reception point at the scenic area entrance. After checking in, you'll receive a vehicle pass, which allows you to drive directly to the hotel along the scenic road. It's about a 10-mile winding road from the entrance to the hotel. In the evening, with almost no other tourists, driving was a real pleasure, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. However, you do need to be mindful that you can only drive along the designated route and park in the hotel's parking lot. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the scenic shuttle stop. It departs from the hotel's main entrance approximately every two hours and seamlessly connects with the electric carts that go up the mountain, saving a lot of time. This service is quite convenient for guests. To be honest, the hotel's facilities are a bit dated. The room decor shows its age. My biggest complaint is the sink height – it's incredibly poorly designed. For someone of my height (1.62m or about 5'4”), the sink comes up to my thigh. It's extremely inconvenient for adults, forcing you to bend and hunch over just to wash your face or brush your teeth, which was quite uncomfortable."
