"Seriously clean! Other hotels I've stayed in might look okay at first glance, but I wouldn't dare examine them too closely. This one, however, is spotless, both overall and in every detail. Plus, the landlady is incredibly nice. We arrived early, and as soon as the previous guests checked out, she got us checked in and even upgraded our room! This isn't a paid review or anything; I honestly didn't have high expectations for Semporna's accommodation, but this place was a truly pleasant surprise. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town."

"Good location near to the jetty. Toilet condition is a bit dirty. Some water heaters not working. There is a mezzanine floor where people go for breakfast and refill water. It is just above the ground floor rooms so you can hear people walking above you especially in the morning"

"I highly recommend this beachfront hotel in Semporna! The location is amazing, directly facing the crystal-clear blue sea. Just open the window and you're greeted by the azure ocean and sky. Wake up to the gentle sound of the waves in the morning, and watch the sunset over the sea from the balcony in the evening – every frame is wallpaper-worthy, and every photo you take will be a masterpiece! 📸 The rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a spacious and airy layout. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are complete and brand new. The hot water and air conditioning are excellent, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel's overall environment has a wonderful island vibe, surrounded by greenery and a gentle sea breeze – quiet, soothing, and perfect for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle. The service is also top-notch! The staff are warm, attentive, and gentle, always ready to help with any needs. They even thoughtfully arrange island hopping and snorkeling, making your trip incredibly hassle-free. Conveniently located downstairs, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, it's excellent value for money! Choosing this hotel for your Semporna vacation is definitely a safe bet. The experience was fantastic, and I've already recommended it to friends. I'll definitely stay here again next time! 🌊"

"The room wasn’t the cleanest, and since I stayed on the ground floor, there were quite a few mosquitoes and some spiders around, and the room had a musty smell. The shared toilet was decent. Location wise, it’s about a 10-15 min walk to town and around 20–25 min to the port, but it can get muddy and a bit tricky to walk, especially after rain."

"Everything about this place was great! The courtyard was clean and even had little cats. Communication in Chinese was seamless, and the owner was a really nice, young guy from mainland China. There's also a pool in the courtyard, which was lovely for an evening breeze. It's super close to the pier, just a few minutes' walk, so getting around was easy. The owner was incredibly helpful. The room had an electric mosquito repellent, and all the usual disposable toiletries were well-stocked. We even saw a group of people who thought they'd lost their phone, and the owner immediately helped them search for it, only for it to turn out it was in their car – it just goes to show how warm-hearted and positive the owner is, thumbs up! He also gave us tips on seafood prices to help us bargain and recommended some great restaurants for processing seafood. Honestly, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back."

"Stayed for a night during transit. The environment was decent, and they offer a shuttle to Semporna Jetty. The bed setup (one large, one small) was quite comfortable for sleeping. There's no dinner service, so you have to eat in town. Getting a Grab back to the hotel from town might cost extra. The bathroom was quite basic, and there was no separation between wet and dry areas."

Each room type also has a small balcony, perfect for enjoying the view. **Service:** * **Thoughtful and attentive service:** The owner specifically imports seasonings from China to cater to Chinese tourists' tastes. The owner is kind, beautiful, and incredibly warm. * **Convenient transportation shuttle:** They provide a shuttle service, making it easy for guests to get around. This is very considerate for visitors unfamiliar with the area."

"Hotel location is good, right in front of the public jetty. Nearby have many seafood restaurants, pharmacy and supermarket, mamak stalls. Very convenient, all walking distance, don't really need a car to move around. Standard Room is ok, size -wise. However, the room is abit dirty as the floor is very sticky. Toilet is basic, quite run-down. You need to climb one flight of stairs, so make sure you nothing too heavy. Sometimes you'll have the smell / smoke from the seafood restaurant downstairs in the hallway. Very thin walls, can easily hear other guests' noise."

"We were island hopping in Semporna, and knowing the living conditions here were average, we chose the Mushroom House, which was considered a tourist attraction in Semporna. Sister Ping treated everyone who stayed there like a friend, even upgrading our room, sending a driver to pick us up in town, and even taking us back to our accommodation after the island hopping trip. I knew she had to take a taxi to pick us up, but I felt embarrassed, after all, the room rate was there. The overall experience was really good, and the people were warm and kind."

"I was absolutely delighted with the homestay I stayed at in Semporna this time! A huge thumbs-up to our Chinese host, Xiaocheng! 👍 First and foremost, Xiaocheng was incredibly nice. He spoke Chinese perfectly, which is incredibly important for Chinese tourists! Feel free to contact him on WeChat with any questions, and he always responded quickly and patiently. The island hopping tour we booked with him was also fantastic! For example, the night we first arrived, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the water heater. We messaged the host, and he immediately replied, explaining it in a few words and solving the problem in seconds! This feeling of being so responsive was incredibly reassuring. Secondly, the location was absolutely amazing! It was definitely one of the biggest highlights of this homestay. We mainly went island hopping, and the various piers were super convenient, usually a 10-minute walk away. We didn't have to get up too early to rush, and we could easily get back home after our trip, saving both time and energy. Even better, there was a large supermarket right across from our room window! Buying water, snacks, fruit, and daily necessities is just across the street. It's incredibly convenient! Evening shopping or resupply is quick and easy, without having to travel far. This is perfect for people like us who sail daily and need to restock at any time. The room itself was clean and tidy, with everything you need. Living in town also means plenty of dining options, with restaurants and a 7-Eleven right downstairs. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, hassle-free communication, and a super convenient location. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Semporna! Especially if you're looking for easy transportation, convenient shopping, and excellent communication with the host, this is the place to go!
