"The place was just nice and the rooms were nice and big. The receptionist was so good and knew fully well what we needed. The cleaning guys were so good and always cleaned the rooms daily. The breakfast was tremendous. It had a wide variety of food spread out. The best this is that it is near the main Dubai Mall so easy to spend yr time over there ."

"We had an incredible time at Sofitel Downtown. The staff were incredible warm and welcoming - the receptionist even surprised us with a room upgrade. It was the perfect gesture after arriving in Dubai after midnight. Even though the main pool was out of service (for good reasons, it’s summer) we were still able to access another pool to cool off. The location is excellent, super close to the air conditioning walkway to Dubai Mall. The hotel itself is luxury! We’re so glad we stay. Thank you so much to the team, especially Nanda who is an absolute superstar. We’ll be back!!!"

"The location of Carlton Downtown is great. It’s close to the Financial Centre Metro station and only 1 station away from Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. You can find food, supermarket, and pharmacy nearby the hotel. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. I stayed in suites which has kitchen and living room apart from the bedroom and bathroom. It’s so spacious! Staff are nice and helpful. You can ask for iron and hair dryer or anything, if you need it. Just call the front desk and they will send it to your room. They clean the room daily, if you request it by hanging the sign at the door. The hotel also has a coffee shop close to the lobby and several restaurants in this building. Moreover they have gym and spa, so you don’t have to find anywhere else. So staying here is very convenient and very worth from what I spent. I recommend Carlton Downtown if you are going to Dubai!"

"Gym is ok, it's not the best but it's sufficient for a few days' stay. Location is good. About 10mins cab to major tourist attractions. Didn't try the breakfast but seems to have a lot of people dining there. Service is good, especially the cleaning lady who ties her hair up on the first floor, she's not a very tall lady, no glasses, too bad I didn't get to ask for her name and thank her for her great service all the time. The cleaning was spectacular. She always has a great smile. I hope the hotel will thank her for me. Hope to return to this hotel again."

"We reached the hotel early so we left our luggages and took a cab to Dubai Mall. Back by 2pm and thank you for letting us checked in early but the room was without a view. Breakfast spread was good and yummy. We thought of converting our breakfast to dinner on the last day( top up the difference) because our flight was early but they didn’t allow it so i ate my packed sandwich and fruits at the airport while thinking of the mouth watering omelette and waffles. Thank you to Ronnel @Together&Co 🤗 he was always cheerful and happy whenever he saw us walking in for breakfast 💐 and thank you to Raj for booking the taxis for us. So lazy to walk to Metro under the hot sun"

"We booked the fountain view room in April 2025. Sadly the fountain was closed for renovation. Overall I'm very happy with the hotel. The highlight was the concierge staff, the gentlemen there were always polite and helpful. The location is great, easy walk to Dubai mall, or you can take the complimentary shuttle. The breakfast was very good too with a good selection of hot and cold food, and great coffee. The room was slightly on the older side but it was clean and very spacious. I wished the windows were cleaned so I could enjoy the view more and take better photos One feedback I would give is that I wished"
