I visited here last year with a friend, so I returned. My friend made the reservation. It's a restaurant that also serves Chinese breakfast, but because it was the last day of the ***** New Year holiday, the breakfast restaurant next to the hotel was closed, so I couldn't enjoy it.
My friend, who also went with me, said it was conveniently located and would try it next time.
Please note: There's no microwave. There's no refrigerator in the room.

Fantastic experience! As soon as I arrived, the front desk lady upgraded my room. The room was very clean, and the cleaning staff came to tidy up every day. If I didn't want to be disturbed, I could just press the 'do not disturb' button, which was great for privacy – something I really appreciated! There's also a mini-fridge in the room with complimentary drinks. Plus, it's super close to Taitung Night Market, so when I got bored at night, I'd just pop over there to browse and grab some snacks. 😂 I initially only planned to stay for three nights, but it was so comfortable and enjoyable that I extended my stay for another night, even canceling my reservation at a different hotel with a sea view! I'm so happy my first visit to Qingdao was such a wonderful experience! All the staff here are excellent and very welcoming. I'm truly grateful to them. I'll definitely book this place again next time I visit Qingdao; it feels so reliable and pleasant. 🥰

This hotel is a strategic lovation. It is near to beer museum, beer street and subway station. Both by walking distance, you can walk to the subway station less than 5 mins. Full of restaurants at the back of this hotel and convenient stalls.
The hotel stay price is consider cheap. The room size is slightly small. They allow late night counter check in. For late check in, advisable to wechat them before you arrive. Hotel staff are friendly. As compared to all those hotels near the airport, this place is easy assessible to all the attractions.
The distance between this place and airportl is about 1 hour drive. Recommended to stay here.

When I called to book a room, the person who answered the phone wasn't very pleasant. They spoke quite rudely. I asked about breakfast and was told to just 'come and see for myself,' which was annoying. However, when I checked in at the front desk, the experience was great! The service was excellent, the staff were very polite and professional. The front desk was also very accommodating and helped with all my requests. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. Oh, and the scent in the lobby is really nice! Overall, a great stay!

Let's start with the positives:
1. The TV was excellent – large, clear, and the screen mirroring feature was incredibly convenient and the clearest I've ever used.
2. The Wi-Fi was smooth and fast, with absolutely no lagging.
3. Even the most basic standard rooms come with a bathtub, so if you enjoy a soak, bring your disposable bath bags and bath bombs!
4. Hot water came out of the tap very quickly, no long waits.
Now for the downsides:
1. The location is really quite average. After exiting the subway, you have to walk past three traffic lights, which takes at least ten minutes. Even famous attractions in Taidong, like Taidong Pedestrian Street and the Beer Museum, are not within walking distance.
2. This area is clearly an old part of Qingdao, opposite a disused old bus station. Downstairs, it's all hardware and building material shops, offering almost no daily conveniences. After dark at 6 PM, there's no one on the streets, and it's pitch black, which frankly felt a bit scary to walk through.
3. This hotel seems to be a 90s-era four-star hotel. It has all the amenities, but it's just quite old. Coupled with the deserted surroundings, the whole hotel felt eerily quiet and somewhat spooky.
4. There's basically no commercial area downstairs. If you want to buy food, you either walk five minutes to a 7-Eleven convenience store or order takeout.
In summary, I personally wouldn't recommend it. The location isn't close to tourist attractions or the subway station – from a location perspective, there's nothing redeeming about it. I made a mistake in my planning and ended up here by chance. However, once you're checked in, there are no issues with the facilities or service.

The location was another huge plus for us. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro, making it incredibly easy to get around the city without a car. Furthermore, the surrounding area is vibrant and full of life! We loved being able to step outside and find great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. It felt like we were in the heart of the action.
Finally, as non-smokers, we greatly appreciated that the entire hotel, including all rooms, was completely smoke-free. It made the environment so much more pleasant.

MM881933****By the time my flight landed, the subway was already closed. The airport shuttle wasn't scheduled to depart until 11:00 PM. While I was waiting for the shuttle, I received a call from the hotel asking about my check-in time, assuring me there was no rush as they have staff available 24 hours a day. During check-in, they kindly upgraded me to a family room, which was a lovely surprise.
The room was spacious and very clean, and the bedding was comfortable. There was even a small tent and a children's bookshelf, making it perfect for families with kids. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the window offered a view of the square. The subway station was also very close by.

The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered.
In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room.
Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room.
Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests.
Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning.
The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired.
On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

GGuest UserHotel was very nice. Two big beds, nice restroom. The TV was next to the wall and close to the beds so it was tight and could have easily bumped into it. It was a little hot in the room but other than that, clean, modern, and had all the amenities. Bathroom was big and luxurious and finally the breakfast buffet was incredible. In China, the staff do not smile as much as those in Japan but get used to it. To get to this airport hotel, i had to find the #1 gate on the 4F walk down a long corridor and then turn left. Look for VIP signs. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the price was only like $78 Canadian for one night which is a lot for their standards. Highly recommended. It was a one night layover so I went downtown but the last train back was 10pm. I didn't know that from using AMap, the maps program in China, and missed it. It cost me $30. I had to negotiate with the driver who first suggested 200 RMB ($40). He then lowered it to 180, 160 but I said 130 and then he said 150 because he had to pay a 20 rmb toll. I used alipay and paid it. I guess i forgot to tip. Nice hotel overall. Only a few people ate the breakfast buffet at 5:45am.
