Many Japanese celebrated artists made frequent visit and the big art collection is housed in the ryokan. A wooden bridge leads to the guest rooms which overlook either the river or the courtyard with its large pond full of carp. Arai Ryokan’s traditional Japanese cuisine kaiseki served features local fresh seafood and vegetable of each season.

Enjoyed the stay so much! The room is cozy with tradition modern Japanese design. End the night and start the day with private onsen, great experience. Check-in staff can only speak little English, using translations tool makes everything so well.

We had a wonderful stay at the Shuzenji onsen Katsuragawa.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome from check-in to check-out. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect.

The room was spacious and beautifully comfortable, with plush bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the private onsen in the room - such a luxurious treat and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. And the food… wow! So much variety and every dish was delicious - a true feast that made every meal memorable. Overall, Toi Fujiya Hotel went above and beyond in every way. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

This was my first time trying a Japanese bathhouse, and I loved it! We stayed in a larger room for four people; the adults slept on the beds, and the kids slept on the tatami mats. Dinner was amazing—a semi-buffet with crab legs, yakiniku (grilled pork), sukiyaki, and various kinds of sake. Then we happily soaked in the hot spring. We checked in on a Saturday and didn't meet a single other Chinese person; it was all local Japanese tourists. Highly recommended! Great value for money!

I stayed in a Japanese-style room on the fourth floor. The room was super big and the heating was sufficient, which was very warm on winter nights. There were several Chinese waiters in the hotel, so communication was barrier-free. I booked a one-night stay and two-meals package, and the breakfast and dinner were very good.

The hotel is very big because it is a golf course. The room is quite big, the bed is very comfortable, the soundproofing is also good, I slept very well, the breakfast is also delicious, and the key is the beautiful environment
