Location is great ! Just right there at BTS Bearing station. Easy access to everywhere. Surrounding with local restaurants especially ” Myanmar food ” Clean tidy room with good WIFI. Not a soundproof room. What I don't like is how they place the bed. It will have more space if they put the bed near by the door and move the desk close to the cabinet

Absolutely excellent service from the hotel. They stored my bags when leaving, allowed me to checkout an hour later and provided me with a vegan breakfast in morning as they didn’t have much prepared options all at no additional expense. Location could be better but the price reflects this. There is a market across the road and a 7/11 right by the hotel which is all conveniently located. The bathroom scent plus additional towels could be an improvement. I also wasn’t expecting to have to pay to use the hot spring. Besides this it was an overall good stay.

I had a pleasant stay at Blue Hippo Hotel. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft and the facilities were good, including a gym and sauna. The staff were friendly and helpful during my stay.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, which is nice for relaxing, but you may need a short ride to reach the BTS or main road. Overall, it’s a great value for money and a good choice if you are visiting the Bangna or BITEC area. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is quite close to Samrong BTS and MRT stations, making transportation convenient. It's not located directly on the main road, so if a female guest returns late at night, it might be better to be accompanied, although it's generally very safe. Our family of three found it very easy to get around using public transport daily. The pool is a bit small but good for kids. The room was very quiet, and everything else was great. For under 300 RMB, it definitely exceeded our expectations.

The room was clean and generally fine. However, the staff did not provide much information, so I had to ask about basic details such as breakfast hours.
The room location was very poor, as it was next to the elevator, which caused constant noise throughout the night — from the elevator itself, people walking by, and even the refrigerator when it was running. I had a very disturbed sleep and did not feel comfortable at all.

The room is quite small but the sheets are clean. The bed is supposed to be queen size but it is just two smaller beds put together and put on a bed sheet, really uncomfortable. And the room doesn’t have disposable toothbrushes and combs. The location is not really convenient for travelers who don’t want to call a taxi every time. There’s also a 7 Eleven close by.

- The accommodation is close to Udomsuk BTS station, within walking distance.
- There are motorbike taxis, a 7-Eleven, and plenty of food options nearby.
- The front desk area is clean, and the reception staff are polite.
- The room is nice, with drinking water, soap/shampoo, and towels provided.
- The room has good soundproofing; I didn't hear much noise at all.
- The air conditioning is cold, and the mattress and pillow are comfortably soft, no back pain.
- The shared bathroom is clean with no unpleasant odors.
- The room is neither too small nor too large, suitable for a single person, and uses a key card system.
Cons:
- The hotel name on the map doesn't match the actual name. On the app it's 'The Peak Hostel,' on the map it's '@Room Hostel,' and the sign in front of the hostel says 'BKK Teak.' Please update the map to avoid confusion.
- The blanket is very thin, just a large towel, offering no warmth whatsoever, especially with the AC blowing directly on me. I had to wear my own long-sleeved shirt to keep warm.
Summary: The quality matches the price. It's suitable for an overnight stay, especially for those looking for affordable accommodation for a few nights and who don't mind a shared bathroom.

Ttan lip cheowThe checkin is fast and seamless and room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing deliciously with Christmas special, a wide spread to choose Thai, Japanese and Western. The Pastry is a must try for sweet tooth’s. Location is perfect, as we just to walk 10mins to both Siam Paragon or Central Embassy. BTS is right outside and if you need a prayer at Doorstep of Erawan shine. Suggest to choose a higher floor room, as it can be noisy road traffic.

GGuest UserI was quite anxious when I arrived, as many reviews mentioned the hotel being old and dated. However, after staying for three days, I have to commend this hotel! 1. The lobby is opulent, and 'rich and varied' doesn't even begin to describe the spread at breakfast. 2. The service is exceptional; they are basically ready to help with anything you need. There's always someone to open the door when you enter the lobby, and the front desk and room service are fantastic! When I checked out, they helped me book a taxi to the airport, which was cheaper than both Grab and Trip.com, costing only 500 Thai Baht (to Don Mueang Airport). 3. The gym is huge, easily over 400 square meters, with all sorts of equipment and dedicated staff. I didn't get to use the pool, but there were lots of kids enjoying it. 4. The hotel's location is convenient, right next to an MRT station. Although it's about 6-7km from the main tourist attractions, for this price, service, and facilities, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Book with confidence! In the evenings, there's a night market nearby, mostly frequented by locals, offering great value for money. If you turn right outside, there's a 'Chinatown' street with all kinds of delicious food.

KKantabuliyazhangchangzongI was quite hesitant about this hotel after reading the reviews, but after staying there, I can say its location is excellent, right by the river. The biggest selling point is definitely the riverside access, especially the free shuttle boat. This shuttle can take you to S-pier, which connects to all the major blue and orange line attractions. Taking the metro isn't the most convenient option, but you can also get to S-pier and transfer there. From my window, I could see the Ferris wheel, and there's a night market right downstairs. However, the shuttle service ends at 9 PM, which is a big drawback, as it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Also, if you're close to the river at night, you might hear the rumble of boats in the middle of the night.
While the hotel facilities are a bit old, they're not dirty. I loved the bed – it was incredibly soft and comfortable; I honestly didn't want to get up! The beds are huge. Even though they're single beds, two pushed together are bigger than beds in China, easily sleeping three people. I skipped the hotel breakfast as I'd already spent a lot of money these past few days. In the afternoon, there's hot coffee in the lobby, which is a nice touch (though it's the only one). They also have iced water, chrysanthemum tea, and roselle tea, plus some biscuits. In the mornings, there are croissants and hot coffee that you can take with you. It's like a simple meal, and it's not bad at all. One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese, so communication wasn't an issue.
The hotel requires a deposit, as it's a major international brand. The bottled water in the room is complimentary and NSF certified, so feel free to drink up. The razor provided was quite good, and the water pressure in the shower was strong. From 9:30 PM to 10:00 PM, there's a singer performing in the lobby, which you can discreetly listen to. There's also legitimate massage available outside. If you get hungry at night, there's a 7-Eleven and some street food stalls about 50 to 100 meters away. I wouldn't say the food is amazing or terrible, but you can try the oyster omelet. As for the swimming pool, it's actually quite nice, being on the first floor and very spacious. If your main goal is to explore along the river, this hotel is perfect. However, if you're looking to frequent places like Nana, this location might not be ideal.

GGuest UserThis is the most complete hostel I've ever been to. There are six floors with several balconies and all of it remains spotless. The common areas are awesome. The river view is amazing I look forward to seeing the fireworks on the river every time. The staff are friendly and accomodating and there are more than enough bathrooms and showers for everybody here. I don't have anything to complain about, I like it a lot here

GGuest UserI spent 17 nights at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with my choice for a remote work and vacation stay. The room has a spacious desk where I could work comfortably, and the internet speed was consistently fast. The bed was also very comfortable. I had no trouble falling asleep at all. I’d say it’s on par with the bed at Parkroyal Collection Pickering in Singapore. The room was clean and a decent size, and the shower had strong water pressure. Locationwise, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS or Lumphini MRT. While it may not be very close to public transport for some, one of the best things about the location is that it’s surrounded by many great restaurants to suit different budgets. In fact, the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had is just a five-minute walk from the hotel.Special thanks to Mr. Kelly from the reception team for providing exceptional service and helping me with any issues during my stay.

EExpat EDventuresWe had a very pleasant stay at Somerset Sukhumvit 71 Bangkok. Check-in was easy and smooth with welcome infused water, and the on-site café was excellent, with delicious breakfast pastries. The beds were firm and clean, the room was comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning and making our beds daily. We also appreciated that both of our rooms were booked next to each other, which made travelling as a family much easier. Our fourteen-year-old’s bed was already made up upon arrival, which was a thoughtful touch.
John, the concierge, was outstanding. He managed to book a same-day bike tour for our family of six and also kindly arranged our airport transfer. His service truly stood out and made our stay even better.
Our only disappointment was New Year’s Eve. We had planned to ring in the new year at the rooftop venue, but it was fully booked. I had messaged the hotel in advance through the Trip app but didn’t receive a response. Instead, we followed a restaurant recommendation from the front desk, only to arrive 56 minutes before closing and be told the kitchen was already closed. Two other nearby restaurants were also closed, so we ended up grabbing snacks from the 7-Eleven across the street. The hotel kindly unlocked our balcony so we could at least watch the fireworks from our room.
The rooftop restaurant is beautiful, and the pool area is also very nice, although the water was quite cold, so we didn’t swim. The location is a bit far out, but overall, we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it and booked a third night. A great hotel with excellent service, especially from the concierge, and we would happily stay again.

There's also a connected walkway from the second floor of the adjacent EmSphere mall, so you don't have to walk in the sun. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of food, entertainment, supermarkets, convenience stores, massage places, and malls – very convenient. It's also only about a 10-minute walk to Asok station and Terminal 21. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities and decor are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy, and the service is warm and friendly.

The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation.
The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are.
A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened.
There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only.
The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable.
There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened.
The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone.
The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove.
Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling.

В номере нет чая и кофе, несмотря на то, что на фотографиях присутствует кофемашина. Чай можно взять на ресепшене в дневное время.
Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный.
В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери.
Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно.
Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты.
Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку.

AAnonymous UserA good location for travellers looking for a quieter neighbourhood compared to the usual sukhumvit experience, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
1. Gets really inaccesible to convenience stores (they do sell limited options of snacks - at a surcharge of course)
2. Engaged their laundry services, almost couldn’t get it back and wanted to bill me an additional fee to get it back in time for me to checkout and catch my flight. Turns out one of my pants was damaged along the way but made no comments about it till I found out. Didn’t pursue this matter as I have to catch a flight, no time to look for resolutions.
3. Was back at the hotel one of the days slightly earlier at 4:30pm, to my dismay the room wasn’t cleaned, the crew only came by at 5:30pm and offered to clean the room but it wasn’t convenient for me (I was half asleep too). Subsequently took a mental note that I can’t be back at the hotel till at least 7pm if I need my room to be cleaned
Your experience may vary, but certainly not one of the experience I was thinking I would received.

DDezhengjianxiuI stayed here ten years ago when I first visited Bangkok, and it's still great! The room is huge, and it's incredibly quiet at night. There's a bus stop right downstairs, and it's not too far from the Sala Daeng BTS station. The breakfast menu changed daily, which was a nice touch, and overall it was a very comfortable stay. My only minor complaint is that they didn't change the bedsheets during my 7-day stay. The hotel is right next to the Mahanakhon Pixel Tower, and the 20th floor offers a fantastic spot for photos.
