"The hotel is located on the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis. You can walk a few steps from the door to the bridge to the island, and it takes only ten minutes to walk to Beale Street. The Sheraton building is quite conspicuous and can be seen from a distance, so you don't have to worry about getting lost when you go out. The room is clean and tidy, and you can enjoy the river view and the pyramids by the large glass window."

"To be honest a little pricey for a small room. But it definitely is an iconic hotel and the lobby is beautiful. Ducks are cute and the hotel is duck-themed. Parking is extremely expensive, 40 dollars."

"Lovely apartment, self-service style but nice, cozy and clean, with great pool facilities which we enjoyed. It is easy to walk to downtown or the Gulch, with great restaurants close by (we loved Martin's BBQ and Peg Leg Porker, too). It is very safe to walk around and there is a lovely ice cream shop attached."

"Excellent location for easy access to the city center! The motel was clean, the room was spacious, the bathroom was clean, and the heating worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable and the towels were clean. You'll find a Burger King, a gas station, and ample parking directly behind the property. There's a bus stop for Graceland just a short walk from the motel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserIt’s okay.. breakfast has cinamon rolls, bananas and apples, bread, milk and yogurt. Room is spacious. Bathroom is not the cleanedt but it’s alright. The weight scale at the gym was broken.

GGuest UserOverall very low quality for a Hampton Inn. Nice staff, very old building and sketchy adjacent parking garage, elevator broken, pan handlers galore, too close to annoying homeless, ******** ***, and drunks. I walked to FedEx, then to post office, and back to the Hampton Inn today (3 blocks total) and an older man on a bicycle followed me for five minutes shouting insults and racist slurs because a i refused to give him money as I exited FedEx. There is an abundant police presence in the area but if you leave the main three blocks of Beale, drunks are hassling people for alcohol. Very sad for the well-intentioned and hard-working locals. 👎.
The breakfast at Hampton Inn was pretty good except for the gravy. This was a grey soup, not sausage gravy. Biscuits were terrific as was the staff person on duty.

GGuest UserThis may have been our best hotel stay, ever. This hotel is great! Everyone that works there, is wonderful! From checking in, to the valets, everybody was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is so clean, and everything in the room worked. The room had a microwave & mini fridge, most only have a mini fridge. It’s in a perfect location! A short walk to Texas de Brazil, or Fed Ex Forum, or the Red Birds stadium. This will be where we stay, anytime we’re in Memphis. I highly recommend it! I can’t say enough positive things about this place. Just wonderful!

GGuest UserCame here for a conference. It was a very convenient experience as the hotel is located along the Main Street and is in walkable distance to Renasant Convention Centre. There is also a Main Street Trolley station right outside the gate, so it is also suitable if you wish to go to somewhere slightly more faraway. Furthermore, there are a few convenience stores/restaurants/pharmacies within 5 minutes walking distance. I would like to recommend here if you want a cost effective option for conferences.

PPat.Travels!Very nice hotel. Very clean & well kept. Breakfast was quite nice too. Would encourage friends and others to use this hotel when traveling. (Only 2 issues) The ladies working at the front desk spoke Hindi to each other rather than English, while a guest waited to be helped. Seemed a bit rude. Could have been extenuating circumstances? And, I was ask to sign & initial a form at check in, but was not given a copy. That should be corrected in the future with your desk personnel. All said tho! Pleasant stay. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
