"An excellent stay! This was my first trip to Kyoto, and I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. **Location:** Tucked away in a quiet spot amidst the bustling city, it's easy to find. All the main attractions, shopping areas, public transport, convenience stores, and restaurants are incredibly close and well-equipped. It's about a 5-minute walk from Exit 5 of Shijo subway station, super easy to locate, right by the intersection where the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto is. It's really convenient for accessing both the Shijo shopping district and Kyoto Station, with Shijo and Karasuma subway stations as options. Even though the main roads in Kyoto can get noisy at night with vehicles revving, this hotel isn't directly on the main road, so there's absolutely no noise disturbance – it's perfect. **Room Amenities:** The central air conditioning vents were silent, the fridge was quiet, and all the furniture, appliances, linens, and toiletries were new and quite clean. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, which I consider a plus, and the shower had good water pressure and stable temperature. My only minor gripe is that the bathroom exhaust fan couldn't be turned off, leading to a slight hum at night, but closing the bathroom door kept it from affecting my sleep. **Public Facilities:** There's a laundry room with dryers, a 24-hour self-service coffee machine offering freshly ground coffee, a kettle, and a selection of tea bags. The hotel has five floors and two elevators. Although breakfast isn't provided, there's bread and juice in the mornings, and instant noodles in the evenings, available in the communal dining area. I'm not sure if there's dedicated hotel parking, but there are plenty of parking lots nearby. **Service:** Although the platform stated that check-in isn't possible after 11 PM, the hotel front desk is staffed 24/7. There were staff members who spoke Japanese, English, Chinese, and French, though the French and other language speakers might be on rotating shifts. They offer complimentary luggage storage on the day of check-out. **Additional Tip:** I also chose the optional JR HARUKA e-ticket from Kansai Airport to Kyoto when booking. It was indeed cheaper than buying tickets at the station. You just need to use the QR code sent to you to exchange for your train ticket directly at a JR station ticket machine."

"The hotel was within walking distance from Kyoto Station. The room was compact but clean, and the facilities were sufficient. Since I was staying with a friend, having a separate bath and toilet was a huge plus. There were plenty of outlets, and the air conditioning could be adjusted freely. I'm not sure if there were other guests, but it was quiet at night, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept soundly. We could also easily reach all the tourist spots we wanted to visit from a nearby bus stop, so the location was great for transportation. If I have the chance, I'd like to stay here again and even for a few more days."

"The location is perfect for Kyoto, with bus and subway stops nearby. You can reach the historic area in just 30 minutes. The rooms are spacious, attractive, and modern, with plenty of space to hang clothes. There's complimentary coffee and tea available anytime. In the mornings, they offer a kind of included breakfast, which consists of artisanal pastries, and from around 5 PM to 7 PM, there's a tasting of various alcoholic beverages, including sake."

"The room was clean and tidy. The main room was spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel of this price range. Having two sinks was a huge plus, making mornings much less crowded and allowing us to get ready efficiently. I personally loved the Japanese-style design. The reception staff were very welcoming and always greeted us when we came and went. The facilities were quite complete, though the hot bath wasn't very large. There are plenty of diverse dining options nearby, which was incredibly convenient. It's also within walking distance of the shopping area, about a 15-minute stroll to Kyoto's bustling commercial streets."

"📍Location: It has a 'quiet in the bustling city' vibe, nestled in a small alley off Karasuma Dori. It's very quiet, though the main entrance might be a bit tricky to find (you can navigate to the main branch of Takagi Coffee Shop, the hotel's front door is right opposite). It's about 300 meters from Karasuma Line Shijo Station Exit 6. Further afield, there are the Shijo Karasuma/Karasuma Matsubara bus stops, all within walking distance. 🏨Ambiance: The design is both quaint and a little charming. The lobby offers free coffee and tea. You can store your luggage for free on the day of check-in, and on the day of check-out, you can store it for free until 5 PM, after which a fee applies. 🚪Rooms: I booked two double rooms, but their sizes and layouts differed. We were given two rooms with different layouts: the couple stayed in a slightly larger room with a sealed window, while I, traveling alone, stayed in a slightly smaller room where I could open the window and enjoy the street view. The room was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable! The only minor drawbacks were a few small issues: (1) The mirror in my room faced the bed directly. If this bothers you, perhaps you can confirm with the front desk. (2) There were no tables in the rooms; you can ask the staff to borrow one. (3) The toothpaste in the dental kit was difficult to squeeze out; a small 3-gram tube barely lasted twice, and it wasn't replenished automatically after room cleaning, forcing me to ask the staff for more every night. Perhaps toiletries could be placed in the lobby for self-service? 💁♀️Service: Very nice! Most of the front desk staff seemed to be foreigners, and English communication was perfectly fine! On the first day, we arrived about 30 minutes early, and the staff helped us check in ahead of schedule. On the first night, I wanted to open the window for ventilation but couldn't close it, so I went downstairs to ask the staff for help. Additionally, the staff always smiled and greeted us whenever we entered or left the hotel. Before leaving, I asked for the names of the two staff members who had been consistently helpful, and I'd like to thank [Kyawt] and [Anjana] for their warm assistance over the past four days 🙏 (Please forgive any misspellings of names). In summary, I would still consider booking this hotel on my next visit to Kyoto. See you next time! "This hotel is very modern and nice. The room is big compared to other rooms in Japan. We even have a small table and 2 chairs to comfortably enjoy a meal and/or drinks. There are complimentary drink machine that include esspresso, warm, milk, and matcha latte just to name a few(so good!). Service was impeccable. The washroom was stocked with luxury products. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back and stay here again."

"The room was on the 9th floor, and the bathroom was spacious with accessibility features. Breakfast was served at the neighboring cafe, a simple set meal for 600 yen. There's a good unagi (eel) restaurant nearby called Naruse."

"Аппартаменты очень понравились для проживания. Удобно расположение- в 100 метрах от станции JR Kaihan, отель явно недавно после реновации. Все новое и свежее- номера, бытовая техника в душе. Хорошие фены, новая сантехника, стиральная машина с сушкой. В течении дня почти постоянно находится персонал отеля ( в отличии от других аппаратов), через который удобно сделать chek in, и который поможет с решением вопросов. Мы проживали в номере 303, с видом на реку. Очень красививый вид из окна. Немного жесткие и непривычные подушки. В отеле есть комната для хранения багажа ( хотя в данных по отелю указано что её нет)- удобно оставить чемоданы при раннем прибытии. Удачная локация- рядом район Гион, храм Киемидзу- дэра. Крайне удачное расположение. Брали номера с хорошими скидками, не жалею что буквально перед поездкой сменили другие аппарты на Minn"
