YYigexihuanzhenshidianpingdeyonghuI didn't take any photos this time. First, let me talk about the facilities: I forgot to check for a bathtub, assuming there would be one. It's my own fault for not checking. The sink and shower were fine, no major problems.
Cleanliness: The walls upstairs in my room were black, but the grout lines were peeling off, making it difficult to place anything on them and leaving black residue. This wasn't a good experience.
Environment: The environment was okay, but it's located in an area full of guesthouses. I recommend renting an electric bike; riding one in the evening is incredibly relaxing.
Service: The service was impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating.
The downside: One bad thing was the swimming pool! We've taken our child to Sanya dozens of times and never had an ear infection from swimming, but here, one time we had to go home to see a doctor. The doctor said it was from swimming; something got in. Looking back, I don't know why the pool water in Beihai is salty—was it just seawater? Sanya's pools use disinfectant additives, which I suspect this one didn't.

We stayed in a pool-access twin room for two days, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great design aesthetic. Opening the balcony door led directly to a beautiful private pool, which connected to the public pool area. Both the private courtyard and public areas were perfect for photos. My child could swim directly from the room to the outside, which was a huge hit! The atmosphere was completely different between day and evening.
What touched me the most was the hotel's meticulous service, which warmed our hearts from check-in until we left.
**Welcome Gifts:** Upon arrival, the hotel presented us with thoughtful and practical welcome gifts, including a tote bag, an umbrella, mosquito repellent spray, mosquito repellent bracelets, hair ties, and other useful small items.
**Breakfast:** Every day, the ingredients were fresh, and the food tasted excellent. We could even reorder dishes. Even my picky eater at home enjoyed it thoroughly.
**Fruits & Afternoon Tea:** Fresh fruits were provided in our room daily. The afternoon tea pastries were exquisite and delicious. Sitting by the pool, enjoying desserts while watching our child swim in the courtyard, was incredibly relaxing.
**Goodnight Desserts:** Every evening, there was a warm, comforting dessert waiting for us, which helped us sleep soundly.
**A Special Birthday Surprise for Our Child:** We had booked the hotel's photography service for our child's birthday that day. To our surprise, the hotel secretly prepared a cake and delivered it to our room. Our child was both surprised and delighted! The cake was also very thoughtfully made and incredibly delicious, with cream that was sweet but not cloying. This level of thoughtfulness is truly not something every hotel can achieve.
I must also highlight the hotel's complementary photography service! I initially booked it with a 'let's just try it' mindset, but the photographer was professional and patient, incredibly skilled at finding the best angles. From the public areas to the unique pool in our room, every shot was exceptionally high-quality. Communication was smooth throughout, and the photos were delivered quickly, without the assembly-line feel of a typical photo studio. It left us with perfect travel photos for our child's birthday, which was incredibly meaningful! All the best photos from this trip to Weizhou Island were thanks to Reef Hotel's photography service.
If you're looking for a hotel with attentive service, stunning surroundings, and the bonus of free high-quality photos, Reef Hotel is definitely the top choice on Weizhou Island. CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block.
The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:)
Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island!
Overall A+ experience!
(Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

GGuest UserThe room is very clean, very warm, large space, tatami bed children like it, sleep very comfortable. There is a convenience store next to it, and there is a vegetable store that is very convenient for shopping. The boss is enthusiastic and will arrange a pick-up and drop-off from the pier. The seafood is also delicious. The hammock in the yard is very comfortable, the sea breeze is blowing, refreshing, and will recommend friends to live.

You can blow the air at night, and you can hear the sound of the waves and the sound of the wind blowing through the banana leaves. It is too convenient to watch the sunrise in the morning, and it takes a few minutes to walk to the southeast seaside. (Come to a hotel location map) Also, the hair dryer in the room is Leifen, which is very useful. It is very important for girls who wash their hair, who understands it. There is also a tram rental at the entrance of the hotel, which is super convenient for renting. In addition, the hotel decoration is American retro style, but the kind of time, very beautiful, but not time.
Disadvantages: The location of the hotel is slightly biased, it is not good to come back at night, and there is no food nearby. However, if you have a companion, there is no problem, and it is not tired to ride a tram. I don't live in the net red street but avoid noisy, in short, it is recommended. If you want a holiday, you can live here.

GGuest UserThe boss was very considerate and turned on the air conditioner for us in advance. As soon as we arrived at the B&B, he came to help us with our suitcases. He was very enthusiastic. The TV in the room won't turn on, come and help immediately. Very satisfied. It was just that the weather was cool this time, so it was a pity that I couldn't swim. The swimming pool in the B&B is also great. It is very close to Silver Beach. We go to the beach to play every day after waking up. The children are very happy.

GGuest UserFirst off, I have to say that the Sheraton Beihai is the absolute top hotel in Beihai. I especially want to give a shout-out to Ella and Cathy, who are front desk staff and akin to hotel butlers. Their service is professional yet warm, making you feel incredibly comfortable.
This trip was with my girlfriend, and as soon as we entered the hotel, we were captivated by the massive glass wall in the lobby, offering an uninterrupted view of the endless, azure sea. The hotel is located within the National Forest Park, a location unparalleled by any other hotel. It truly offers ocean-front rooms. Our room was large and spacious, with luxurious, elegant, and comfortable decor, featuring a wonderful coastal design and numerous thoughtful details. The most impressive aspect, though, was the attitude of the staff. Everyone at the hotel had an excellent demeanor – that's the charm of the Marriott brand, and I believe this Sheraton embodies it perfectly.
Downstairs, there's the hotel's private beach, which is uncrowded and beautiful. The accompanying Sunset Restaurant also has a fantastic ambiance. Listening to music with the sea breeze, enjoying a drink while watching the sunset against the backdrop of Guantouling Beach is simply blissful.
Despite being on a hill, the hotel's location makes it convenient to get anywhere. There are staff at the entrance who help with luggage and open/close doors, which is an excellent touch. Even ordering late-night takeout was super fast.
I also want to praise the hotel breakfast – it was incredibly delicious! You absolutely *must* try the hotel's noodles; they have a unique flavor.
From my personal experience, if you're planning a vacation or holiday in Beihai, the Sheraton is definitely the best choice. Whether it's the location, environment, service, experience, facilities, luxury, cleanliness, or the sense of privacy and seclusion, I honestly believe it's absolutely outstanding!
