Great
GGuest UserHotel service is very thoughtful, warm, dinner is very rich, breakfast is very rich, there is a shuttle bus, the room is very large and comfortable, the terrace view is open, and there is welcome drink in the lobby.
SSeedlingsKAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted.
The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher).
The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened.
Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that).
If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically.
In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees.
MMiaomiaoisabelTraveling solo, I splurged on a Japanese-style room that could probably fit four people. It's an older ryokan, but that didn't really detract from the experience. The only thing was that during the off-season, the in-house restaurant for dinner was closed, so I had to buy food from a convenience store and bring it back.
Regarding the service, the shuttle driver was incredibly diligent and responsible, even waiting for me at the station for 2-3 minutes – I'm very grateful for that 🙏. In contrast, the two front desk staff (they were clearly not Japanese, probably Indian or Southeast Asian) were the most unprofessional hotel employees I've ever encountered: in the morning, when I greeted them, there was no reply; later, when I walked in from outside the hotel, they were loudly chatting and laughing. I've been to Japan so many times and stayed at so many hotels, but I've never experienced anything like this before.
GGuest UserThis Japanese-style hot spring hotel is fully equipped and the lobby is quite luxuriously decorated. We arrived early and enjoyed free afternoon tea and foot soup first. At three o'clock, a waiter in a kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very intimate. After the bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel at the time we had booked in advance. The dinner was a standard kaiseki dish and was very hearty. Each family had their own private dining space and was equipped with a dedicated full service. At 9 pm, the hotel arranged a local Taigu performance in Kaga for the guests, which was very special. The whole experience was very satisfying.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.
GGuest UserI was very satisfied with a hotel I recently stayed at. The room was spacious and comfortable, modern and relaxing. The service staff was warm and friendly and always helped, making me feel welcome. The hotel's restaurant has a rich breakfast selection and fresh and delicious food, adding a lot of vitality to the beginning of the day. The location is convenient and there are many attractions around to explore. Overall, this stay was very pleasant and will consider coming again in the future!
邓邓The newly opened hotel after refurbishment, so it looks very new, the hot springs are very interesting, the outdoor hot springs are for mixed men and women, and there are many small pools. Dinner was very good, breakfast was too Japanese and I was a bit unaccustomed to Japanese pickles. We also ran into a female manager this time, who was a Chinese. She enthusiastically escorted us to the station and explained to the bus driver our need to go to Yongping Temple temporarily. The hotel is very close to Hexian River.
DDesvsdayWe were on a road trip, and the hotel was right by the lake, with beautiful scenery perfect for relaxing. The public bath was large and quite comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were buffet style, but the menu was simpler compared to other hot spring hotels in Hokkaido.
ボボブNormally, white rice at a travel destination is delicious, but is white rice old rice? It was as bad as I thought.
I thought the white rice in the morning was leftovers from last night.
The food tasted good, but it didn't seem like they used high quality ingredients.
The hotel was beautiful.
bath was good
I think everything was good except rice
