Nanning Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"I have always loved this hotel for their dinners me and my wife enjoyed when we visited Nanning over the years. This time I had the time to stay in this hotel for first time. A fantastic 8 night stay. A lovely hotel. I will definitely return and I highly recommend you choose this hotel. The facilities, staff, food, everything is excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The staffs attention to detail is high quality. Room was excellent. Breakfast 10 stars out of 10. Superb Chinese and Western delicious foods. Coffee freshly ground beans and your choice of hot milk, soy milk etc etc. Health bread is available. The chefs poached my eggs every morning. Thank you. Swimming pool amazing. Fitness room nicely set up and well equipped. I like the location and ease of access. The airport bus starts and ends in the hotel entrance car park. Amazing!"

"For the price of 220, I shouldn't have expected a 4-star hotel, but my overall experience was still profoundly disappointing. While the room had been renovated, it still didn't feel like a true 4-star establishment. The TV screen would flicker every ten minutes or so – a new 'eye-care' mode, perhaps? However, it was clean and hygienic. Although the surroundings were quiet, I found the overall experience quite uncomfortable. After checking in at the main lobby, there were no signs guiding us. We had to navigate through a parking lot and down some steps just to find Building 2. It felt particularly eerie and creepy at night. Adding to this, despite the quiet surroundings, the room's soundproofing was terrible. If children spoke even slightly loudly, everyone on the entire floor could hear. Finally, the service was so poor, I wouldn't even give it a single star. Shortly after checking in, an elder in our group couldn't figure out the AC, so they called the front desk. I was then asked to help. While I was still adjusting it, a staff member came over and asked if the AC was problematic. I told them I had fixed it. The staff member then rudely retorted, 'Even if it's fixed, you should still call the front desk to inform us,' before turning around and walking off. Their ungracious attitude was truly baffling. Is this their idea of a 'four-star standard' – to annoy guests? This is likely the most detailed review I've ever penned, not for objectivity, but because every aspect of this stay deserves nothing more than half a star."

"The rooms are all very spacious, with an industrial and rustic wood design aesthetic. The room decor is exceptionally high-end, featuring Hansgrohe showerheads and Duravit toilets. We even got a free upgrade to a larger room. The hotel restaurant is also beautifully designed, and the breakfast perfectly captures the ceremonial feel of a Western-style restaurant. Special shoutout to the front desk staff, especially the young man who took many Christmas-themed photos for us with his own camera, free of charge. The service throughout was excellent. "The location is great, and the room is also very good, clean and tidy. The breakfast spread is abundant, and I would definitely choose to stay here again next time. The only downside was that we weren't informed about the marathon road closures on our second day when we checked in. This affected our plans to catch our flight, and although the hotel sent someone to talk to the traffic police, we still almost missed our journey."

"Nanning's tallest building, the world's highest Shangri-La, and even a favorite of Jay Chou – this hotel has many claims to fame! For my first visit to Nanning, I still chose the Shangri-La. The service, decor, and facilities were all excellent, and having a butler was a nice touch. The hotel has direct access to MixC City, which is very convenient, and it's only a 15-minute drive from the high-speed train station. I'll definitely consider staying here again. The high-altitude views are stunning, and there's a gym and outdoor pool. The only minor flaw is that the soundproofing isn't great. It felt like I was practically sharing a suite with my neighbors; you could hear everything going on in every room. It was even so exaggerated that I heard the hotel phone ringing in the room next door at night. But realistically, there probably isn't a better option out there."

"The environment is very good, the service is good, and the morning tea is also very good. There is a gymnasium, a recreation room, and a small children's theater indoors. There are bunnies and sheep outside, and a swimming pool. The hotel is very green and the air is very fresh. It is very comfortable for morning exercise or a walk after dinner. It would be perfect if the dinner at the Chinese restaurant could be better."

"Great hardware, terrible service. I booked this hotel for a one-night stopover. The hotel only offers two types of king rooms: a 'Superior View King' and a 'One-Bedroom King Suite.' Both options explicitly stated on Trip.com that extra beds could be added. I called twice to confirm and was told that an extra bed was possible, though it might be a bit cramped. I clarified that we'd arrive at 9 PM and leave at 8 AM the next day, so a little squeezing wouldn't be an issue as it was just a resting point. I then booked through Trip.com and added a note requesting an extra bed. However, I later received SMS messages from Trip.com: [Trip.com] For your booking at Nanning Wosheng Hotel on 2026/2/19 for a Superior View King Room (Smart Control + Skin-friendly Robes + Dryer), Order No: 1128145895545178, we have forwarded your special request to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel informed us they cannot accommodate your request. We apologize for any inconvenience. For details, please click: https://sdp.ctrip.com/?99R1PbL5390. [Trip.com] Regarding your booking at Nanning Wosheng Hotel on 2/19, the hotel wishes us to convey that 'this room type cannot accommodate an extra bed; it would be very crowded if one were added. We suggest you opt not to have an extra bed or choose a larger room type.' If you have any questions, please call Trip.com at 95010. So, I called the hotel again, making it clear that I wouldn't pay over 2,000 yuan for a larger room for just a few hours. I told them that if they believed this room type would be crowded with an extra bed, they should remove the 'extra bed available' option from their Trip.com page to avoid misleading customers. After checking in at nearly 10 PM, I discovered that even with an extra bed, the room was still very, very spacious – more so than any Atour room type. This is the most disgusting hotel experience I've ever had. They clearly lack integrity, just trying to push more expensive room types."

"An excellent hotel! We were on a family trip, and my sister's family room was impressively spacious with a three-room layout. My room, though not a family room, was also very roomy. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. The front desk staff were wonderful – so friendly and provided excellent service. It's conveniently located not far from the airport and offers a free shuttle service. Since my sister was a returning guest, for our airport drop-off, they went above and beyond. They arranged for a dedicated staff member to escort us through the VIP channel, saving us nearly an hour. This was incredibly thoughtful! Undoubtedly, the most satisfying hotel stay we've had in Beihai and Nanning."

"The room wasn't very big, but it was on the first floor of the villa, and it was quite nice. A particularly good thing was that hotel guests could enter and exit the hot springs twice, which was a great deal. We didn't soak for long with the kids; we only soaked for two hours in the afternoon, and then went again in the evening. They had a lot of fun. The hotel also had a sauna and other amenities, which was nice."
