"Honestly, this is the best hotel in the area after many experiences. The rooms with sea views are luxurious and I loved them, while the rooms without sea views are very ordinary. The breakfast is fantastic, even better than the breakfasts at the Four Seasons, Marriott, and Mövenpick, based on my experience. My only comment is about the reception staff. The girls are nice, but there's one young man who doesn't smile and doesn't make you feel welcome. His face is sullen, which is why reception staff are supposed to be friendly. The ladies are wonderful, but we just didn't feel comfortable with this young man."

"The hotel is old but in a very good condition. Service is very welcoming and with a incredibly high level of English language proficiency. Location is rather quiet (there’s a shuttle but you better set with your car or bike) but with a great beach. Good food at the dinner restaurant and plentiful breakfast. Sand fleas is an issue. We’ve got some bites. Good value for money."

"The staff is really nice, helpful, accommodating. Roma are comfortable. Their restaurant is actually very nice in the evening if you want to have a quiet and chill time. They offer many services to help tourists."

"Our stay was truly wonderful overall. We came as a group of three friends and had a very enjoyable experience. However, there is one area that definitely needs improvement — the housekeeping department. We placed the “Please Clean Room” sign outside, but unfortunately nothing was properly refreshed except for the bed being neatly made. Housekeeping should pay more attention to cleaning details and room replenishment, as this part of the service was quite disappointing and should be improved significantly. On the other hand, the front office staff were excellent. They were always helpful, informative, and ready to assist whenever needed. We especially appreciated the short-haired female staff member we met again on the morning of our check-out — she was very friendly and left a lovely impression on us. Another staff member from the Assistant Front Office team was also very attentive and provided great support throughout our stay. The swimming pool was beautiful, and overall the hotel experience was very pleasant. Everything was great except for the housekeeping service, which we hope can be improved to match the excellent standard of the other departments."

"We stayed at The Dewa Koh Chang hotel for a special holiday, firstly to be honest our experiense didn't start perfectly. However, what happened next completely transformed our holiday and the sincere reason for this 5-star review! The staff at this hotel are nothing short of exceptional! Their of client-oriented service didn't just fix the issues - it exceeded all our expectations. The room, breakfast buffet, massage, pool area, evening shows - everything was perfect! "Beautifully renovated hotel (2023). On the beach and with a lovely pool. The staff is extremely friendly. The bungalows are great; we had a partial sea view. Bungalows located directly on the beach offer little privacy because other guests are on the beach in front of them. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool, and people put towels on the beach. Beach towels are available. The food is delicious, and the breakfast buffet has a wide selection. There's a fire show and live singer every evening."

"A wonderful hotel in a quiet location. Yes, there's no private beach, but that's not a problem – just 70 meters down the road or along the shore (if the tide is out) and you're on the beach. From there, you can go wherever your heart desires. We found a bar with brown stools nearby where we ate and spent our time. The hotel is currently building a new swimming pool. The breakfasts are good, with the main dishes changing daily. The coffee is also quite decent. The staff are responsive and speak good English (something we can't boast about, but an online translator solved everything for us). They helped us with an issue we had with the air conditioning. Across the road from the hotel, there's a Macro and a 7/11."

"I recently moved into a new home, but I was constantly bothered by a large number of ants at night. After some research, I tried XX brand's ant repellent spray. After using it, the effect was significant, and the number of ants visibly decreased. This spray is easy to use, doesn't have an irritating smell, and is long-lasting. "Excellent spot for an unpretentious beach getaway. My friends and I spent 2 days here. We really liked the hotel's location – it's nestled in a quiet cove on Lonely Beach, with only 4 hotels in the vicinity, making it quite secluded and peaceful. The atmosphere is truly perfect for a relaxed tropical vacation. Pros: The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach. The breakfasts are a definite highlight: extensive and varied, with an omelet station (cooked fresh for you) and excellent coffee, which isn't always the case in Thai hotels. We were also pleased with the room rate – quite affordable, even cheap, for this beach, plus there was a free cancellation option. The hotel has a clean pool, beach towels are available, and there's a lovely bar right on the shore. We took many photos of the grounds, breakfasts, and the bar – very atmospheric! Things to note: Yes, the rooms are indeed old and quite worn; a renovation wouldn't hurt. However, for us, this wasn't a deal-breaker: on a beach vacation, we spend minimal time in the room – just for sleeping. The main thing was that the air conditioning worked, there was water, and the mattress was comfortable. If you're similar, this is a great option for you. As for the location outside the hotel: it's quite a long walk to the night market and the local village with shops. If you don't have a scooter, you'll have to trek a fair bit. It's about a 7-minute ride on a scooter, so transport will come in handy here. Conclusion: This hotel is ideal for those looking for an inexpensive and cozy option right on Lonely Beach with delicious breakfasts, who are willing to overlook tired but perfectly functional rooms for sleeping.
