Goreme Hotels with Rooftop Pools

"Nice location in Goreme with great views.  Reception staff are very helpful.  Breakfast is great. Rooms are actually inside caves, quite spacious and comfortable. Note: Caves are dug in tuff (volcanic ash) hence debris drops regularly on floor and bed."

"This cave hotel is quite unique and the restaurant offers a good variety of tasty dishes. However, we stayed for three nights and were assigned to the lowest level, which had virtually no view. This definitely wasn't worth the 1300-1400 per night price tag. The room door used a traditional key, and the bathroom door needed a strong push to close properly. On the plus side, the service was decent, and they offered complimentary bonfires. On the downside, our room didn't have a good view, and some of the facilities felt a bit dated."

"The service here is excellent; the staff are very friendly and proactively offer help. I stayed in both room types. This particular one was a cave room, and while the price was low, there's definitely a reason for that. The room's interior is made of stone, which means it's poorly ventilated. You have to use the exhaust fan, which produces a bit of noise. What was truly unbearable was the intense itchiness I felt when sleeping in the bed. All my exposed skin – my arms, neck, and even my hair – was itching terribly. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I reported it to the hotel staff, and they suggested it might be due to dampness/humidity. It's genuinely the first time I've ever experienced such itchiness in a hotel, and it certainly left a lasting impression. If you have the option, definitely choose another room type; the others are much better. I strongly advise against booking this 'specialty' or cave room. Overall, the hotel is quite good. You can see hot air balloons from the spacious rooftop terrace. Just be very careful when selecting your room type!"

"I’ve been to Göreme several times, and this is the hotel with the friendliest service in my experience. The room was comfortable and clean, and both the interior and exterior of the hotel were very pleasant. It was especially perfect for us, as we don’t prefer staying in a cave hotel."

"Can I just say this hotel is an oasis in Göreme?! From the moment you walk in, the pool is the first thing you see – and it's absolutely stunning for photos! I booked this hotel because I loved it so much, even though I couldn't get a consecutive stay. Trying out two different room types was also a great experience! The rooms have a very vintage design, and the suites come with a Jacuzzi tub – just remember to bring your own disposable tub liner if you want a soak! My absolute favorite part, though, was the view of the pool. It's beautiful from every angle, at any time of day. It looks even more magical at night when the lights come on. Sip on a spritz and then drift off to sleep! Besides the hot air balloons, finding this hidden gem of a hotel was the biggest highlight of my trip to Göreme! Oh, and hotels here usually have a custom of taking in or keeping a stray dog. This one has a big black German Shepherd – don't let his size fool you, he's very gentle, so no need to worry too much."

"Not really a cave room but still we had such an amazing time here. The staff were friendly and the room was stunning, although it could use a brighter lightbulb. The bath was a great addition to relax after long days of sightseeing. While breakfast was a little basic it was really nice and the views from the restaurant are stunning. Perfect location as well right in the centre but not surrounded by the noise and a great view of the balloons if you get up early enough."

"I'll write everything honestly. The hotel is not old, but all the amenities could be newer and more convenient. The beds are very narrow, the mattress is old. The springs dig into the body and sleep is certainly uncomfortable. It’s cramped in the soul; a fat person definitely can’t turn around. The only positive impression is from the staff, they are friendly, sociable, when you ask for something, they immediately help and do it. They even gave us free tea in the evening, the pool is not bad, the location of the hotel is not very good, it’s noisy, the cars drive endlessly. The price is certainly not high for accommodation, if you have patience. Breakfast is Turkish, but there is also something for children to eat. Friends, as I understand, hotels in this range are the same, the hotel is better and the price will be higher. If you only need to spend the night, then you can be patient. I personally wouldn't stay there anymore. I hope the review will be useful to you. In the photo it looks bigger and more decent, in reality the room is narrow, with low flow, although everything is in the room, even slippers, but there is no soap, shampoo or gel, I personally had to ask, we only had shampoo. It seemed hot to us and we were looking for a hotel for a reasonable price with air conditioning, but in fact it was not turned on. It’s cool at night, but cars and dogs don’t let you sleep in the summer, and you can’t close the window."
