"I had a 6:55 a.m. flight and planned to take the 5:30 a.m. hotel shuttle. When I asked at the reception beforehand, I was explicitly told that no reservation was required, so I relied on that information.However, the shuttle did not arrive until approximately 5:35 a.m. When it finally arrived, it was already completely full because it was carrying passengers from another hotel. As a result, I was unable to board the shuttle even though I had been waiting on time.This service failure caused extreme stress and forced me to urgently book an Uber to ensure I did not miss my flight. If reservations were required, or if the shuttle had limited capacity across multiple properties, guests should have been informed in advance."

"We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel the night before our wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant, just what we needed before the big day. The valet service was quick and efficient, though it’s good to know there is a $44 charge per night. Overall, everything felt smooth and well taken care of, and we’re glad we chose to stay there for such a special moment."

"The hotel's location is excellent. You can walk to all the bustling streets nearby, and I could see the Parliament building right from my room. The front desk service was great. If you're driving, valet parking is available for around 60 Canadian dollars, paid at the front desk, which I believe includes the tip."

"The location has some certain distance to subway stations, but it only matters if you arrive to or depart from the hotel using transit, as you might need to walk for around 10 minutes in order to get to the hotel. However, most of the attractions (Parliament, ByWard market) are within walkable distance (less than 20 minutes) so it is not a problem for me. The room is extremely spacious with even a kitchen and a printer for this price point, and the room is clean. However, the shower blinds have some gaps which seeps water to the floor wet while showering… The staff is really nice and friendly, and the free breakfast that comes with the room is good enough (I like the sausage and the egg bites). The laundry is 24/7 and comes with complimentary laundry sheets and powder, which is a big plus. However, do note that there is a certain chance that you’ll be assigned to a first floor room, which is essentially the ground floor… One of the entrance (the one next to the parking lot) for ground floor rooms can look a little bit sketchy at night. Since my room is also next to Elgin street where people go to the pubs at night, it can get a little bit noisy, but the bed is far away from the window so it sort of cancelled the disadvantage. It would be better if the front desk asked if a ground floor room was OK before giving the room cards."

Dining & Service The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options with prompt service. Most importantly, the staff provided professional and attentive hospitality from check-in to departure. Verdict A well-balanced hotel offering consistent quality and a productive environment. "Good overall but very noisy air conditioning, very difficult to access free wifi and absolutely no hot water in the shower both days."

"Generally speaking, the water pressure of the shower in the bath is not large, and it is uncomfortable to wash! If the price can be under a thousand dollars, it can still account for a high cost performance. The location is not bad, very close to the University of Ottawa, not far from a few Chinese restaurants (you can find it on the map) The lobby is very small, and the parking garage is small and expensive 🥲 But Ctrip is good because they don't have I updated the booking information and wrote the paid parking as free, so in order to apologize, I paid the full parking fee for two days, Ctrip, the role model in the China travel app!"

"The hotel is not far from the airport and T&T Supermarket, both are a few minutes' drive away. The room is OK and acceptable for staying for one or two days. The parking lot is large. It is a typical old-style motel. The front desk staff is Indian. I guess all of them are low-end hotels acquired by Indians. Overall it's OK, I'd give it a score of 3.5. The only unpleasant thing is that they collected a deposit of 200 Canadian dollars for only one night's stay, and it hasn't been refunded for three weeks."

"Ottawa is very small, the hotel location is very convenient, also in the core area, about 20 minutes to the subway station. I saw that everyone commented that the facilities were old and I didn't think it was in the way. When I checked in, the swimming pool could not be used. The indoor one did not say that the reason was repaired. "This was a great Hotel with so much to do, including a pool arcade, great gym and awesome restaurants/ coffee! Golf is right there as well! Would def recommend!"
