"1. The breakfast options were very limited. A greater variety would significantly improve the experience. 2. One of the male reception staff members was quite rude. Staff should be polite, courteous, and welcoming—a simple smile can go a long way in creating a positive atmosphere. 3. It was disappointing to see that the welcome packet was only given to selected guests during check-in. This inconsistent treatment does not reflect well on guest service. 4. The location was not ideal, and the area outside the hotel felt unsafe, especially at night. 5. On a positive note, the room itself was very good—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. 6. The room servicing staff was very friendly"

"My experience at the Business Inn was brilliant. Smooth check in and no issues at all, staff at the front desk were all wonderful: patient, kind, knowledgeable. Constantly welcoming me back to the hotel! Something small that I appreciate. The room was wonderful, all the appliances worked brilliantly, and I was honestly astounded by the amount of space for the price! Very good value. Furthermore, the room cleanliness was perfect, I had no concerns and always felt good coming home. Loved the location, lots of action and good feelings in the neighborhood. I truly could not be happier with my experience. Thank you very much!"

"We stayed a night for museum visit the next morning. The room is clean. There is a gym and swimming pool on the ground floor, and free breakfast with good selection of food. A good night's sleep for our family and we actually wished to arrive earlier so that we can spend some time to use the facilities. We are energized for the museum visit the following morning!"

"Surprisingly Great Stay! Unique and Comfortable I really enjoyed my stay at the Saintlo Ottawa Jail Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The atmosphere is unique and definitely something you don’t experience at a regular hotel — in a good way! The staff were friendly, the place felt safe, and the location was convenient for getting around Ottawa. Overall, it was a great stay and I would happily come back again. Highly recommend"

"The room was a bit small, and the counter felt like something from an economy hotel. Perhaps as an online platform guest, I was assigned a lower floor room where a huge exhaust fan on the outdoor platform vibrated and made noise clearly audible inside. I got back to the hotel late at night, and my child fell asleep immediately, so I didn't want to complain in the middle of the night. I finally fell asleep after two hours, a really terrible stay. However, the cleaning lady in the morning was excellent; I left my wallet on the table, and she immediately took it to the front desk. Thumbs up for her!"

"My mom and I stayed here, and the hotel's location right next to the train station was incredibly convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable – really good! "We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, they had issues checking us in as the booking was made through trip.com which went through *******. Somehow they figured it out later. The room was spacious, clean. They provided room services every day except for one day when they were understaffed. Shower has only half door so be ready for some splashes. I recommend bringing your own body wash (they provide soap which is hard to wash off) and shampoo. People who can't sleep with noise in the room, should consider their options. Air conditioning is super loud (like factory machine) , it constantly woke us up at night, there is no option to open a window instead. Breakfasts are always the same, not a single thing changes: fried/boiled eggs, sausages, pork?cutlets, pancakes, apples, oatmeal, bread. The dining room was always overcrowded, the space should be at least twice as big. Sometimes we came and there was no food, so we had to wait for someone to come and bring food (they don't have a person there on a regular basis). I can't say our experience was bad, but it was not great either."

"The room was compact but cleverly designed, featuring a table, chairs, a balcony, and a dedicated pantry area with a microwave and an electric kettle. The kettle is a huge plus for Asians, as I've never seen one in any other North American hotel. They also provide complimentary iced water in the fridge, which is great because at other hotels, we always bring our own bottled water since you can't be sure about the tap water quality everywhere. The best part, though, was their breakfast, which offered Canadian ham. After days of American bacon, I was pleasantly surprised by how fragrant and delicious the Canadian ham was!"
