During the Dragon Boat Festival, I brought my family for a trip nearby. The Shimao Wonderland InterContinental, though I'd heard mixed reviews online, I decided to experience it for myself. After confirming our check-in time and our preference for a quiet room, Hanna from the front desk proactively added me on WeChat. She reminded me that because it was a holiday and there was an amusement park nearby, parking might be tight, advising me to inform her 30 minutes in advance so she could make arrangements. We checked in on Dragon Boat Festival noon, and I was surprised to see the lobby's seating area packed with people and a long queue at the front desk. However, thanks to Hanna's foresight, our room was already reserved, making the check-in process quick and efficient. Our room was arranged away from the elevator, and the soundproofing was remarkably good. We couldn't hear any plumbing from the adjacent rooms or the floors above/below, whether it was the shower or the toilet. This undisturbed experience is a rare find, whether in hotels built years ago or newly constructed ones, a truly effective soundproofing is hard to come by. There was a minor issue with the sink drainage during our stay, which was promptly resolved, showing their attentive service. However, I have to complain about the sink's design; it was a square basin, which easily splashed water, and water tended to accumulate near the faucet – not very practical. Our stay included a complimentary travel photoshoot with three free photos. The photographer was excellent at creating a lively atmosphere, and our family portrait turned out vibrant and natural, boosting our mood significantly! Online reviews for the Western restaurant were mediocre, but the Chinese restaurant, Cai Feng Lou, received many positive comments. I spontaneously decided to try it, worried about not getting a table, but Hanna immediately helped us book a table for that evening. The standout dish in the set meal was the diced wagyu beef – a true test of a chef's skill. Each piece was large, yet perfectly tender, flavorful, and didn't get stuck in your teeth. This mastery certainly justifies the numerous trophies and prestigious brand accolades at the entrance! At the restaurant entrance, there was also an introduction to the Shimao Quarry Hotel's background and construction history. Indeed, many aspects of its design were quite visionary, considering it took 12 years to build! The cliffside light show at 8:30 PM featured stunning opening audio effects, and the fountain design added a lot to the visual impact of the mythological story. The Chenshan Botanical Garden, included in our hotel package, was even more amazing. I felt like I could spend two days there, enjoying nature, the charm of the vast lawn, the beauty of the dawn redwood forest, and the tranquility of the camphor forest. Overall, it was a good experience, but the price was just too unfriendly. Even without it being a major holiday, it was so expensive. Given the current economic climate, a more affordable price would be needed to maintain sustained market demand.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. I've tried many hotels in the same price range, but my kids still absolutely love Sheshan Aimei. It fulfills their little wish for a beach and a pool. I didn't hesitate to book it, and my family was very satisfied. Nearby is Maya Happy Valley, and the hotel was fully booked on the day we stayed. Bob provided excellent service, really paying attention to the guests' experience. The room was quite spacious, around 55 square meters, and very clean. It had floor-to-ceiling windows, so it didn't feel cramped at all for a family. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive. We'll definitely come back to stay again if we get the chance!

Honestly, you can still feel its five-star roots. Even though it's been open for 20 years, the service quality remains high. The room facilities are a bit dated, but the solid wood furniture still gives it a touch of quality, and you can tell it's well-maintained. The restaurant is relatively good, offering both Chinese and Western dishes, and the food is fresh. The hotel's location is excellent; it was very convenient for me to get to the First People's Hospital. There's also a commercial street nearby for shopping, and taxis and public transport are readily available. Overall, this stay offered good value for money, and the price wasn't expensive.

To let my granddaughter experience traditional Chinese culture—dragon boat racing—I specifically booked a scenic room at Songjiang Sijing Huhua Mingdu Hotel in advance. The service and professionalism of Qiuqiu at the front desk and the two beautiful assistant managers in the lobby were absolutely superb 👍👍. I sincerely want to thank these two ladies so much 🙏🙏. If it weren't for the assistant manager and Qiuqiu, my first stay at Huhua Mingdu would have been quite unpleasant: 1. On June 19th, we ordered Chinese food at the Xiyan Restaurant at 11:50 AM. After going up and down to check four or five times, and my granddaughter crying from hunger, the food finally arrived at 1:40 PM after much anticipation. My granddaughter was already half-asleep. For a dragon boat event, the hotel's capacity is limited, and they should have anticipated this in advance and informed guests! Lesson learned this time: I won't be joining in on the 'fun' again!

The reason I love Aman is because it offers more than just a hotel stay. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by the beautiful scenery of the trees and the profound meaning behind the Yangyun Heritage, which was created by someone a thousand years ago who strived to preserve them. It made me want to stay there indefinitely. ❤️ The outdoor bathtub in the room's courtyard felt charming even in the rainy weather, and the interior was clean and tidy. I especially appreciate the hospitality of Jeremy Wang and the smiles and kindness of the staff whenever we met. It made my stay very comfortable and relaxing! I highly recommend visiting the Le Wu restaurant. While many dishes are spicy, the spice isn't overpowering, making it enjoyable for Koreans. The complimentary afternoon tea was a nice touch, and the daily Chinese traditional culture and art classes at Nanshufang were fantastic – I particularly enjoyed the calligraphy session! There are also bikes available, which are great for exploring the park outside. I couldn't do all the activities, and 24 hours simply wasn't enough time. ㅠㅠ

If you want to travel back 500 years and sleep within a picturesque 'Jiangnan' scene on the water, then choosing the Songjiang Guangfulin Prime Minister Mansion Hotel is definitely the right choice. Their old architecture, the fragrance, it's truly enchanting. The moment you step into the lobby, you're stunned – this isn't a replica of an ancient building, but a 100% authentic Ming Dynasty Jinshi Jidi Mansion, originally dismantled and then rebuilt from Guixi, Jiangxi. It's said to be the former residence of Xia Yan, the first Grand Secretary of the Ming Dynasty, with over 500 years of history. The 65 golden nanmu beams and pillars are all constructed with mortise and tenon joints, without a single iron nail. Take a sniff, and the air is filled with a faint, elegant woody fragrance. Absolutely incredible! The Prime Minister Mansion Hotel even has live guzheng performances during the day; it's truly ethereal and graceful. I've already experienced the afternoon tea and the breakfast buffet, both of high quality. The 6:38 PM lantern lighting ceremony is unforgettable; it transports you back to the Ming Dynasty in an instant. Staff members in Hanfu, gongs and drums resounding, and palace lanterns lighting up gradually at the main entrance of the ancient mansion. The warm, red glow washes over the bluestone path, and the butler leads us through the Jidi Mansion, where we beat drums to express our ambitions and draw lucky lots. In just over 20 minutes, it felt as if we had stepped into a painting of an ancient wealthy family's home. Thanks to the hotel for upgrading us to a LOFT room. With a bed upstairs and another downstairs, the kids slept comfortably. The public areas are spacious, and there are many staff members; if we ever got a bit lost, they always appeared at just the right moment, and their inquiries and explanations were always friendly. We also explored the Guangfulin Scenic Area. I particularly liked the underwater cultural museum and the pottery studio – thumbs up! Facilities: Excellent, ancient architecture, absolutely amazing! Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Within the Guangfulin Scenic Area. Service: Friendly!

The hotel was very thoughtful with its special tips for the Gaokao (college entrance exam), and even gave a bouquet of flowers wishing 'victory at one stroke' 💐. The room felt great, and the service was good and polite. They even gave a cute little hand cream. The breakfast was good, much better than the Holiday Inn in Songjiang, where I stayed for a day before switching here. I just forgot to grab a freshly ground coffee!

The facilities here are comprehensive and thoughtfully designed. The desk lamp provides soft lighting, perfect for working, and the charging outlets are conveniently placed, so there's no need to bring an extension cord. The toiletries are high-quality, the central air conditioning maintains a precise temperature, and the soundproofing is excellent, blocking out all outside noise. Common areas like the hallways and cleaning services are well-maintained, contributing to a clean and elegant environment. The staff are courteous and polite. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant. I definitely give it five stars and recommend it to anyone traveling for business or leisure.

I chose this hotel near a scenic spot for my business trip. On the first day, I was assigned a room on what they called the first floor, which was very dark. I asked to switch rooms, especially since there were basic twin rooms available on floors 1-3. The two women at the front desk that day were just okay, especially since one of them assigned me to a room that was both far away and unsatisfactory. Then I discovered I'd overpaid through Trip.com! It was several hundred yuan more expensive than other agency portals listed on Amap. I could have booked a room with breakfast included for 699 yuan a day in advance. But when I booked through Trip.com in advance, that 699 yuan package option wasn't even available, and the general price was higher than on Amap. I ended up paying over 900 yuan for a room without breakfast and was forced to take an unnecessary photo. Trip.com only had these impractical options. I later upgraded to a room with a balcony. The room type they were originally going to give me on the first day felt like a basement! What truly stood out were the two male staff members who were on duty when I returned to the hotel at night, Alex and his colleague. Both of them were waiting for guests at the main entrance every evening, showing real dedication to service. Honestly, Alex was the only one in the entire hotel who had the five-star service attitude one would expect. Everyone else was just okay; perhaps hotels that are more business-oriented have higher service standards. In any case, Alex flexibly accommodated my subsequent requests within his authority. So, I paid for the second night myself, and I had a very long, quiet sleep. I haven't slept that well in a long time. If I didn't have to leave in the afternoon, I would have loved to sleep through this rainy day. I also participated in an activity where you get a small gift if you get 20 likes on a social media post, which turned out to be just a small cardholder. 😹

I stayed at Atour Hotel, which was close to the exam center, while my child took the college entrance exam. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful, sending blessings to my child and arranging various considerate and detailed touches. The hotel environment was also warm and tidy. The front desk service was attentive, and they even printed study materials for me in a timely manner. The housekeeping service was excellent, keeping the room clean and providing plenty of tissues and mineral water 😊 Highly recommend!

Facilities: Very new Hygiene: Excellent Environment: Very clean Service: Very warm and welcoming “Booking this hotel was the best decision of this trip! The moment I walked in, the aroma and music in the lobby instantly put me in vacation mode. The room overlooked a stunning river view, and when the neon lights came on at night, it felt like the whole city was putting on a show just for me. The biggest surprise was the bedding; the thread count was definitely high, and as a light sleeper, I slept soundly until morning. The service was impeccable, with attention to every detail; the front desk even offered me an ice bucket and cutlery when they saw I had a cake. I initially thought it was just a place to sleep, but it turned out to be full of pleasant surprises. This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and I will absolutely stay here again on my next visit to this city!”

The location is near the Songjiang University Town subway station, on the side of Xinsongjiang Road, surrounded by bustling shopping malls and restaurants. It is an affordable hotel type, and the environmental facilities are of course average. After all, the price is there. But the proprietress and sister are very good. When I check in and check out, I take the initiative to help me carry the suitcase. I am very enthusiastic.

Very nice hotel, booked on Ctrip, very cost-effective. I went to Shanghai on a business trip this week. The hotel is close to the company. It only takes about ten minutes to walk. I have been off for 5 days in a row and it is kept clean and tidy every day. The bed is comfortable and the environment is quiet enough.

The place is decent with all basic needs covered. Private bathroom, towel, shampoo, a/c, and so on. They don't speak English or are used to have foreign tourists, it took them such a long time to check us in. Is good if you are taking a train from the nearby train station. There are no signs at all in English, so finding it is such a challenge. Is right beside a bank (everright or something) there's a spa in the same building. Recommended.

We chose the perfect place for our romantic getaway! The hotel is tucked away in a quiet spot, just a few minutes' walk from the river. A stroll hand-in-hand in the evening, enjoying the breeze, was so relaxing. The room was beautifully decorated with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city lights. Turning on the nightlights at night created an even more ambiance. The bathroom had a huge bathtub; a hot bath with the hotel's complimentary aromatherapy diffuser was the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, and the freshly grilled steak and coffee were amazing. Dining by the window with the sunlight streaming in was incredibly soothing. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff proactively helped with our luggage and even recommended some trendy, off-the-beaten-path local restaurants. We'll definitely be back for our next anniversary!

I rarely write reviews for so many years on business trips. This experience was really bad. Because it rained that afternoon and I didn’t want to run too far, I just saw a hotel on the Internet. It happened to be right next to it. The room WiFi was not available. There was no front desk to buy mineral water. There was no cup for brushing teeth. The paper cups are all taken by the front desk and there is no hair dryer. The most basic thing for a room of more than 100 yuan is to be matched with cockroaches. The attitude of the front desk staff is also poor. The tone of speech feels like he owes him money. The room hygiene is also poor. The bathroom sandals and slippers are not equipped with shower mats. Can you go to your feet? Why don’t you change the dirty mat? Generally speaking, it’s bad, it’s bad.
