"A decent place to stay in Krabi. We stayed there for two weeks. Housekeeping every day, and it's located in a quiet, peaceful area. It's a 25-minute walk to the night market, and there are cafes nearby. The staff are polite, and the room was clean. Of course, you might find some minor stains on the bedding, but then again, it's not a luxury hotel."

GGuest UserHonestly, very high hygiene standards. My last stay was a 5 star hotel in Jakarta, they can learn so much from Krabi Forest Homestay. It felt like home. Very thoughtfull and welcoming, all the basics needs were present. The team is very helpfull and sweet. Thank you for an amazing time. I wouldn’t choose another place if I have the chance to come back. 🫶

The staff in the restaurant on the topfloor of the hotel was not very nice, also not open before 09:00 (= breakfast?). My impression is that the restaurant is run seperatly from the hotel. But no need to go there, so many better, cheaper options with friendly staff. Breakfast eg Easy Cafe.

AAnonymous UserI stayed at Let’s Sea Hostel for 3 nights and overall it was a very good experience, especially for the price. The owner is super kind and friendly and always ready to help, answer questions, and share useful food and local recommendations. That alone already made the stay feel welcoming.
The location is a little further from Ao Nang Beach, so expect about a 15 minute walk. But there are quite a few nice restaurants and food options near the hostel, which makes it convenient in another way.
Amenities are basic and simple, nothing fancy, but for the price point it’s exactly what you would expect. Clean, comfortable, and suitable for a budget stay.
Overall, a great value hostel with a genuinely helpful host. Good choice if you’re looking for an affordable and friendly stay in Ao Nang.

WWanderingIrEhSThe location was central at Ao Nang town centre area. But taxi drivers would usually get confused as there’s another place called J mansion which is different from J hotel. It’s a small place but decent to sleep or stay at for a few days in Ao Nang. The place is somehow clean but still needs improvement.
The pro though was they have upgraded our room to a king bed. It was somehow comfortable & clean, the room was also spacious enough. So grateful for that.
Downside was there’s no view from the room & no elevators, only stairs & there were no male staff to help us lift our luggage to the room. They were also strict with the check-out time. Staff need to smile more and be more friendlier to tourists though.
Good thing there’s a laundry service for a fee. And hotel is too close to the shops and restaurants, tours, etc., only walking distance. Hotel also offers their own tours but we book our tours already elsewhere for a good discount.
Overall, if you’re on a budget, I think this place is somehow okay to stay with for a few days in Ao Nang.

GGuest UserGreat location, good for swimming at the beach and viewing the mountain behind the resort. The service was great - i did a late booking yet they came to offer me a bed despite passing their working hours. Its like 10 min work to the social area and i love the walk in and out cos it helps me to have my 30 min of exercise :). The only issue i had was that i saw a crab in my room one evening but it was okay - harmless. Had a good time relaxing and working.

JJazzC_XOThis was a really cute bungalow on the beach, which added to our experience of staying on Phi Phi. However, the bed was rock hard and the air con kept switching itself off in the night so we kept waking up sweating! The light from it was also really bright so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep. You can also hear the whole island from your hut, and a lot of the Thai residents were working at night nearby, so it was very noisy and required ear plugs! There were lots of little bugs in the woodwork mainly, the shower wasn’t great and got the bathroom very wet. Also, any trips or taxi boats were quite expensive from the woman at reception, we managed to get a 4hr private long tail for 2300baht total. A lot of these things were to be expected, and isn’t too much of a complaint against the resort itself, but something for you to bear in mind when choosing to stay here.

Only downsides are the pool gets shaded early on if you’re looking to use it.
The showers also aren’t very good, can’t be moved and spray the whole bathroom.

The pool closes early, but such rules are on the whole island ((in the bungalow we were on the 2nd floor above the pool, there is no Internet, this is a big problem (But the hotel is clean.
