"The hotel was better than I expected. The only downsides were the poor Wi-Fi and the 3 PM check-in time, though they actually let me check in at 2 PM. Even for the most basic room, it was very clean with floor-to-ceiling windows. I don't understand why the ratings are so low; it felt like a real hidden gem!"

"Great location, beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing getaway in Railay. I stayed at Sand Sea Resort, Railay Beach, Krabi, from July 28-30, 2026. Overall, it was a good and impressive experience. The biggest highlight is the resort's location right on Railay Beach, making it convenient to get to the beach and other attractions. The surroundings of the accommodation are lush, peaceful, and offer beautiful natural views, truly ideal for relaxation. The room was clean, the atmosphere within the resort was pleasant, and there were areas to walk around and unwind. The staff provided polite service. Overall, it's an accommodation that meets the needs of those looking to experience the nature, sea, and tranquility of Railay Beach. I was particularly impressed with the location and views. I would return if I have the chance and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good atmosphere accommodation in Railay, Krabi."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hop Inn Krabi. It’s located near Krabi Town, making it a quieter area while still being convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room felt fresh and modern. The only minor drawback is the lack of a safety vault, though all my belongings remained secure throughout my stay. Overall, I’d happily return here on my next trip to Krabi."

"Really great location, close to the Pier - everything in Railay Beach is within about 10-20 minutes walk, from one side of the ”island” to the other, but being close to the Pier is good when you have to carry luggage. Big rooms, quiet resort, no children of course. One tip - dont try to check in early... even in low season where there was maybe 5 other rooms booked, they still made us wait until 2pm to go into our room. They do have an air conditioned waiting area, and even though out room was ready we still had to wait which was a shame. Also, the bar doesn't open until 3pm, so we couldn't buy a drink here while waiting. Aside from this, breakfast was pretty tasty, but minimal options. Still glad we booked with breakfast as most things aren't open until later in the day. Great place to stay for a couple of days, but next time I'd probably just visit Railay as a day trip from Ao Nang."

"The service in the hotel was amazing, the rooms was clean and breakfast was good for the price, they keep the hotel in good conditions and it’s close to the food market of the town and it takes 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel"

"Clean, nice room with beatiful view on pond, pool and mountains, comfortable bad. Green territory, two water pools, both with great views. Great breakfasts with wide choice. Bottled water provided daily, also capsule coffee machine and kettle in the room (tea bags, coffee and coffee capsules were also provided). Comfortable for those who travelling between locations (very close to Railay East Floating Pier)."

"Honestly. Riverside hotel had a fairly good service. I did not like the first room they had given because it was not the one I saw and booked for (it on the first floor, last room on the corridor), they immediately found another room and relocated me. The rooms are very old. The first one had mold and rust and it didn’t help that the window was facing a wall. But the location was beautiful and staff very friendly and helpful. As a female traveling solo, I felt safe and secure."

"I specifically came to Koh Phi Phi this time to experience the slow-paced island life of the locals, and I absolutely fell in love with this island! The little cats wandering everywhere on the streets were well-behaved and friendly, letting you pet them without fear. We randomly found a local travel agency and booked a pirate ship tour for 1800 Thai Baht, which was an amazing experience! We boarded at 12 PM and returned at 7 PM. This route only caters to island residents, so you don't have to deal with the large crowds from Phuket, making the experience completely different and much more comfortable. Compared to the bustling and noisy Phuket, Koh Phi Phi's overall atmosphere is much more relaxed. Instead of just recommending this hotel, I'd suggest that anyone visiting Phuket should definitely spend a night on Koh Phi Phi! The quality of hotels on the island doesn't vary much; generally, you get what you pay for. Accommodation is just a temporary stop; the true joy of Koh Phi Phi is never about the hotel itself. If you prefer a quiet, relaxing, and crowd-free vacation, then the northern part of Koh Phi Phi is highly recommended! The entire area is filled with high-end luxury hotels, most of which have private beaches, offering excellent privacy. Our stay this time was around Tonsai Pier, which is the most popular and lively core area of the island. You can choose between these two different vacation vibes according to your preference."

"Good, clean, simple hotel with a clean swimming pool. The hotel is located right on the beach and next to a busy shopping street. The rooms are very spacious, clean, but a bit dated. The staff are generally very friendly. A downside was that upon check-out, I was immediately asked about items like an umbrella that my children had used and had to pay for a coffee spoon that was apparently missing from the coffee cup in my room."

"The location of this hotel is great, and the view from the pool is undeniably incredible. Unfortunately, I feel like they count on this as the main feature and hope that we will see past the old rooms and average breakfast. For the price paid, I do feel like the rooms could be upgraded slightly as they were old and dusty. The breakfast was okay, but it is not outstanding by any means."
