"Great location, beautiful views, perfect for a relaxing getaway in Railay. I stayed at Sand Sea Resort, Railay Beach, Krabi, from July 28-30, 2026. Overall, it was a good and impressive experience. The biggest highlight is the resort's location right on Railay Beach, making it convenient to get to the beach and other attractions. The surroundings of the accommodation are lush, peaceful, and offer beautiful natural views, truly ideal for relaxation. The room was clean, the atmosphere within the resort was pleasant, and there were areas to walk around and unwind. The staff provided polite service. Overall, it's an accommodation that meets the needs of those looking to experience the nature, sea, and tranquility of Railay Beach. I was particularly impressed with the location and views. I would return if I have the chance and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good atmosphere accommodation in Railay, Krabi."

"The service in the hotel was amazing, the rooms was clean and breakfast was good for the price, they keep the hotel in good conditions and it’s close to the food market of the town and it takes 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel"

"Visited in peak season (January) and it was incredibly crowded. All rooms were booked, and Railay Beach was packed like sardines. The facilities are definitely 4-star. I tried both the private bungalow, which was about 300+ baht more, and the basic double room. The independent private bungalow offered a much better bathroom and a more resort-like atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend not skimping on that extra cost. The sunrise and the night view when it's less crowded at Railay Beach are still beautiful. However, I'm genuinely fed up with Southeast Asia. Even if you're willing to spend a lot, the sheer number of people everywhere makes it feel like a budget backpacker trip. Oh, and a point I haven't seen mentioned: currently, the boats from the hotel to Ao Nam Mao pier (which doesn't require wading) are very infrequent, only at times like 2 PM and 4 PM. I suggest just taking the public boats; they depart once enough people have gathered. Also, this hotel is a 4-star, and the main difference from a 5-star is the lack of service – everything is self-service. Come prepared for that. One more thing: if you want to go to Ton Sai Beach, which is next to Railay Beach, I recommend wading through the water from the beach. Just be careful. Don't take the other mountain path! That experience was really bad – the path is narrow, difficult to walk, very primitive, and unmaintained, and you'll get bitten a lot."

"We stayed here for our honeymoon. From the front desk to the service staff, everyone was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our stay, which made for a very pleasant experience. Our room, despite showing some age, was meticulously clean to the point where the age wasn't an issue at all! The bathtub was spacious, and they even provided bubble bath. We really appreciated the amenities, coffee capsules, and bottled water. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own skincare products like cleanser and facial wash. We stayed in a pool villa, and the pool water was so clean and refreshing that we went for a dip twice a day, every day! Beach towels were also provided. The breakfast offered variety each day, and we thoroughly enjoyed it for all three mornings without getting bored. The coffee, made with an espresso machine, was a nice touch! Regarding access: when taking a bus from Krabi Airport, if you tell them you're going to Railay Beach, they'll drop you off at Ao Nam Mao Pier. From there, you'll need to buy a longtail boat ticket to Railay East Beach. The East Beach side has a pier, so you can disembark without getting wet, and the resort is conveniently located about a 30-second walk from there! Railay Beach itself is small, so there are plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. I would definitely want to stay here again if I come back to Krabi."

"Really great location, close to the Pier - everything in Railay Beach is within about 10-20 minutes walk, from one side of the ”island” to the other, but being close to the Pier is good when you have to carry luggage. Big rooms, quiet resort, no children of course. One tip - dont try to check in early... even in low season where there was maybe 5 other rooms booked, they still made us wait until 2pm to go into our room. They do have an air conditioned waiting area, and even though out room was ready we still had to wait which was a shame. Also, the bar doesn't open until 3pm, so we couldn't buy a drink here while waiting. Aside from this, breakfast was pretty tasty, but minimal options. Still glad we booked with breakfast as most things aren't open until later in the day. Great place to stay for a couple of days, but next time I'd probably just visit Railay as a day trip from Ao Nang."

"Location is a bit out of the way which is nice if you want a quieter part of town. Only a few minutes drive away from Aonang Beach. They also provide free shuttles but only 3 times a day. They also have a shuttle to Central Krabi but it will run only until 21st April 2026. Easy to get grab as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The main facility is the pool, so if you like swimming, this is definitely the hotel to stay. I did pass by a building in the hotel where it does seem like there is/will be a gym but it's not open for guests as of my stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but water pressure was inconsistent but not a huge deal."

"We had an amazing stay at Frank Aonang Resort! Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and conveniently located not far from the main street. All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We especially want to thank Moom and Jan — they were absolutely amazing! They always helped us, gave us useful advice, and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. A special thank you to Jan for organizing tours for us, helping with our airport transfer, and always being there whenever we needed assistance. Her service was truly outstanding and made our trip even more special. Thank you for such a great experience — we would definitely love to come back again!"

"The location is great, right on Klong Muang beach. Within walking distance of many eateries, massage places, laundry and convenience stores. The hotel name is not on grab yet but you can select Baan Tha Ley restaurant and Ma’s Sea Beach House is just beside it, look for the small blue seashell logo! The room is clean and bed and pillows super comfortable, aircon and hot water works well with good water pressure. Plenty of amenities provided: flip flops, bedroom slippers, bathrobes, beach towels, fridge and plenty of bottled water. There are only five rooms available so it seems like there are no full time staff around, but the hotel manager can always be reached on WhatsApp for cleaning requests and any other matter."

"I wish i'd stayed longer. A green paradise not far from everything, with a convenient shuttle service to Ao Nang beach. Nice breakfast by the pond: I really enjoyed the fresh juices, but i wish they used better bread. Everything we ordered from the menu came with tasteless bread, even the English muffin wasn't a muffin, just the same bland bread. Desserts were lovely, especially the roti!"

"The hotel staffs are so friendly, kind n helpful. We got most of our help , service n advice from them. English n French spoken hotel staff, no language barrier. Hotel location is just a 100m walking distance to ao nang night market, across the road is the beach, can see sunset by the beach. Pool is great. Bfaz is beyond expectation. Good recommended. 👍🏻"
