From the very first moments, you feel the high level of service and an incredibly warm atmosphere. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and carefree. Genuine smiles, attention to detail, and care in every interaction – this is what creates a true sense of hospitality. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and harmonious: well-maintained grounds, stylish architecture, and an atmosphere of tranquility and seclusion. They've managed to preserve the feeling of a tropical island while adding modern comfort and aesthetics. The restaurant deserves special mention. The service was superb – professional, attentive, and very pleasant. Every visit left nothing but positive impressions. The breakfasts were magnificent: a wide selection, fresh ingredients, excellent quality dishes, and very beautiful presentation. I particularly remember a dessert the chef prepared right in front of me. It was tiramisu – incredibly delicate, perfectly balanced, and, without exaggeration, one of the best I've ever tasted. It was clear how much attention and love they put into even these small details. It's the people who make this place special. The entire staff creates an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care, making the vacation feel truly exceptional. This is the second Banyan Tree Hideaway I've stayed at; the first was in Bali. It's undoubtedly the most luxurious experience in all of Krabi, bar none. With only 54 villas in the entire hotel, even at full occupancy, there are only about a hundred guests, ensuring peace and privacy. I stayed for three days and never left the hotel premises. The restaurant's Thai food is among the top 10% in all of Thailand, far surpassing many 'influencer' restaurants. Our butler, Sun, is Thai and has visited China. Many of the staff members have interned at hotels in China for several years. By the second day, whether it was the regular service staff or the restaurant staff, they all knew my name, addressing me as Mr. So-and-so or Ms. So-and-so. It truly felt like coming home. They were always ready to chat with you, though this might feel a bit uncomfortable for those who are socially anxious. Hong Island is a complimentary hotel excursion, departing at 9 AM daily from the private beach at the hotel's Sunset Bar, returning at 12 PM. Water and towels are provided free of charge, and you only need to pay a 300 baht island entrance fee. If you wish, you can go every day. Upon your return, your butler and the Sunset Bar staff will be lined up with drinks, iced towels, and a car, ready to welcome you back. Honestly, a room costing over ten thousand per night is truly incomparable to the Banyan Tree next door. It's not that Banyan Tree is bad; they just have completely different concepts. The Hideaway is also different from a traditional Ritz-Carlton, considering there are only 7 such properties worldwide (some say 9, I haven't confirmed). You need to show your check-in confirmation at the entrance; outsiders are not allowed into the hotel. Privacy, privacy, privacy is the main focus throughout your stay. Finally, you have a good chance of seeing small lizards, but crocodiles are much harder to spot – it's purely luck. They don't bite, but of course, don't provoke them; after all, they are wild animals. I hope this helps anyone planning a trip.

An incredibly smart choice, we loved this French-style hotel with huge gardens! The twin beds were super big and comfortable, and the room hygiene was spot-on – truly five-star worthy! It's worth mentioning that the Italian restaurant, both service and dishes, was top-notch; we enjoyed it so much we went twice. The White Lotus Thai restaurant was also delicious, and the service was very attentive! The hotel pool is massive, really fun, and great for families with kids! Every staff member we encountered had excellent service awareness and was very nice! It's only about a 20-minute drive to the meeting point for island-hopping in the morning, which is totally acceptable and very convenient. There's also a 7-Eleven within a 10-minute walk, so it's easy to grab drinks and snacks. All in all, our whole family loved it, a truly memorable hotel experience!

This hotel on Phi Phi Island was a fantastic stay overall. Each room is a standalone bungalow, and many have been recently renovated, giving them a fresh and stylish look that I really appreciated. With two beachfront pools, it truly feels like a perfect vacation getaway. I'd recommend staying for at least two nights, as getting here can be a bit of a journey – first a bus to the pier, then a speedboat for about 1.2 hours, which can be a bit of a hassle. So, definitely plan for a longer stay to make it worthwhile. The hotel is surrounded by a small village, making it convenient for dining and renting longtail boats. What's great is that it's not overly commercialized like Tonsai Pier; it has a wonderful secluded vibe, perfect for a relaxing holiday. I'd even say it's a great alternative to The Racha on Racha Island, which might be a bit pricier due to its closer proximity.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The front desk attendant who spoke Chinese had a lovely, sweet smile, and all the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fine, but I do hope for more variety at breakfast. The clear waters and complimentary water activities are a definite plus. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets in the evening and a stunning starry sky at night. My only complaint concerns the two-bedroom ocean view pool villa we booked this time. We stayed in room 2302, and the air conditioning vent had a design flaw: it was positioned directly above the main bed, and the noise was so loud that it kept us awake for several nights. We complained to the front desk, and they sent staff to adjust the vent to blow left, right, and upwards, but it didn't make a noticeable difference. We requested a room change, but the hotel was almost fully booked, so they couldn't accommodate us. Our request for an early check-out was also unsuccessful. To fellow travelers planning a stay: if you're booking a villa, I strongly recommend opting for the upper floor Sala Ocean View Villa. Do NOT book the type I stayed in, otherwise you'll truly regret it – it's a waste of money, and your overall experience will be severely compromised.

Very good. As soon as you arrive, a lot of food and drinks have been prepared. You must also experience the breakfast service. Breakfast will be cooked downstairs and there will be a barbecue in the villa. The butler will also help you book various sea tours before going out. Booking a car with a butler is much cheaper than outside! The environment is very good. I went with my friends and the overall experience was great! Recommended! ! !

The location was pretty good. The sunset was not very good as it is behind the property, but the sunrise probably was! The TV had an English movie channel but it was buggy. The pool bar was a highlight! The bacon was like jerky. The rest of the food was pretty good. The spa is beautiful too with a steam shower! Birds make their nests in the walls!

This was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach! There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍
