Luxury Hotels in Krabi Town

"This is the second Banyan Tree Hideaway I've stayed at; the first was in Bali. It's undoubtedly the most luxurious experience in all of Krabi, bar none. With only 54 villas in the entire hotel, even at full occupancy, there are only about a hundred guests, ensuring peace and privacy. I stayed for three days and never left the hotel premises. The restaurant's Thai food is among the top 10% in all of Thailand, far surpassing many 'influencer' restaurants. Our butler, Sun, is Thai and has visited China. Many of the staff members have interned at hotels in China for several years. By the second day, whether it was the regular service staff or the restaurant staff, they all knew my name, addressing me as Mr. So-and-so or Ms. So-and-so. It truly felt like coming home. They were always ready to chat with you, though this might feel a bit uncomfortable for those who are socially anxious. Hong Island is a complimentary hotel excursion, departing at 9 AM daily from the private beach at the hotel's Sunset Bar, returning at 12 PM. Water and towels are provided free of charge, and you only need to pay a 300 baht island entrance fee. If you wish, you can go every day. Upon your return, your butler and the Sunset Bar staff will be lined up with drinks, iced towels, and a car, ready to welcome you back. Honestly, a room costing over ten thousand per night is truly incomparable to the Banyan Tree next door. It's not that Banyan Tree is bad; they just have completely different concepts. The Hideaway is also different from a traditional Ritz-Carlton, considering there are only 7 such properties worldwide (some say 9, I haven't confirmed). You need to show your check-in confirmation at the entrance; outsiders are not allowed into the hotel. Privacy, privacy, privacy is the main focus throughout your stay. Finally, you have a good chance of seeing small lizards, but crocodiles are much harder to spot – it's purely luck. They don't bite, but of course, don't provoke them; after all, they are wild animals. I hope this helps anyone planning a trip."

"This hotel offers incredible value for money. There were two adults and two children in our family, and even the younger one is nine years old. We booked a Deluxe King Room with a sea view. It had a 1.8-meter king bed and another 1.8-meter sofa bed, which was more than enough for us to sleep comfortably. The balcony was very spacious, and it even included four breakfasts. The breakfast spread was quite good overall. I highly recommend staying here; I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Krabi."

"Very good! It has a private pool and excellent service, truly 5-star. However, the shower area is a bit awkward; I was worried about being seen from outside, and my precious fats are not for free viewing – I'd charge for that! The breakfast was exquisite and delicious, and the service was top-notch! All the staff were friendly, always smiling and chatting with you. I really liked that. There was a little moss by the pool, but I can accept that. The water was also very clean."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing Stay at Sofitel Krabi We have had the most wonderful stay at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and the whole experience has been absolutely fantastic. The resort itself is beautiful — peaceful, luxurious and surrounded by stunning scenery. The grounds are immaculate, the swimming pool is incredible, and there is such a relaxing atmosphere throughout the entire hotel. It really feels like a true escape. The staff deserve a special mention. Everyone we have encountered has been incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive, always greeting us with a smile and going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The service has genuinely made such a difference. Our room was lovely, comfortable and spacious, and the whole resort is exceptionally clean and well maintained. There is a real attention to detail that you would expect from Sofitel. The breakfast is also excellent, with a great choice of food and something for everyone. However, there were not many vegetarian options available, so it would be wonderful to see a wider selection of vegetarian dishes. This is only a small point, though, and certainly didn’t spoil our stay. Overall, we have absolutely loved our time here. Sofitel Krabi is a beautiful resort with wonderful staff, excellent facilities and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Krabi.
