This hotel is perfect for complete relaxation, for harmony of mind and body. Beautiful views, stunning mountains, the hotel grounds are lush and green, and every detail has been carefully considered. Smoking and alcohol are not permitted at the hotel, which is a huge plus for me – nothing to annoy or prevent you from enjoying nature. Be aware that there are no shops or cafes near the hotel. It's best to come by car. The hotel serves very delicious breakfasts. They offer yoga, a hammam, an infrared sauna, a jacuzzi, ice baths, sound healing, and massages. At night, you can hear all the jungle creatures from the bungalows. Earplugs are provided, but it didn't bother me; in fact, it helped me feel even more connected to nature. This is our second year coming here, and we'll definitely be back again and again. Thank you for your hospitality! 🫶🏼

I genuinely highly recommend this hotel! It's super convenient, just a two-minute walk to the right after getting off the boat at Phi Phi Don Pier, so no need for any transfer. The balcony door offers excellent soundproofing, completely blocking out the noise from the boat engines at the pier. It's also very smoker-friendly, as you can smoke on the balcony with the door closed. Downstairs, there are many local guides offering banana boat day trips, and their prices are generally consistent and fair. Plus, there are two 7-Eleven stores just a two-minute walk away, making it easy to grab food, water, or a massage. The experience here is far better than a day trip from Phuket. Phi Phi Island isn't big, so you don't have to worry about transportation no matter where you stay. I brought my own filtered shower head, and after four days, the filter remained white, which is a good sign. The room was clean, and housekeeping was prompt and efficient. On Phi Phi Island, you can't walk three steps without seeing a cat; they're everywhere and aren't afraid of people or aggressive. In the evenings, there's a lady who feeds the cats downstairs. Sitting below the hotel with a bunch of kittens, enjoying the sea breeze and a beer in the evening, was incredibly enjoyable. This is my second time on Phi Phi, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. I genuinely highly recommend it; it's fantastic!

These were an unforgettable 6 days at the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room had an authentic style, and every detail was well thought out. The staff's attitude was the best. The sea was perfect – I went to Long Beach. I vacationed in July. The food in the restaurant was delicious, though the Green Curry was too spicy for me. The weather was wonderful, only raining on the 6th day. The only downside was the path to the beach, where you had to hold onto a rope. If they built stairs, this would be the best hotel on the island. Every evening I walked into town, which took 20 minutes, but I really wanted to stroll around, not just lie around and eat all day. I found a super massage salon called Apple. The road was picturesque. I went on a day trip to three islands – it was magical. These were fabulous days of my life. The room was cleaned daily, with two bottles of water provided each day, and mosquito repellent in the room, but I didn't get a single bite. In the evenings, an artist sang to guitar music in the restaurant. Turn off the auto mode on the air conditioner and switch it to 'quietly' mode, and it will work silently. The sunsets were beautiful, like a painting. Once, an exhausted snake crawled onto the beach. Everyone photographed it, and it didn't bite anyone. Great location in a quiet alley just one minute from the main road with all the restaurants and shops and a few minutes from the beach and the boat transfer to Railay and other islands. Comfortable bed. I found it quiet here, but it is low season. Only issue was, on one table there were like 100 tiny maggots (maybe eating the wood?) and there was a small hole in the wall in which hundreds of tiny ants were coming through, they all went into my bag at night, but as there was no food in my bag they mostly all left by afternoon. So, the cleaning/room maintenance should be a little more thorough. Definitely don’t bring any food into the room.

We had an amazing stay at Frank Aonang Resort! Everything was wonderful from the beginning to the end. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and conveniently located not far from the main street. All the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We especially want to thank Moom and Jan — they were absolutely amazing! They always helped us, gave us useful advice, and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. A special thank you to Jan for organizing tours for us, helping with our airport transfer, and always being there whenever we needed assistance. Her service was truly outstanding and made our trip even more special. Thank you for such a great experience — we would definitely love to come back again!

Service was great! The receptionists were very helpful and polite, especially the one gentleman. We had a great time staying away from the crowds. The sunbeds were plenty, the beach was amazing, though the water is not very suitable for swimming during low tide since there are tons of sea urchins everywhere. I rented their kayak and rowed out to be able to swim safely in the deeper water. We had two villas on the hill, great views of the ocean. In one of the rooms, the inside was clean but there was an old beer can and some cigarette butts on the balcony that I assume housekeeping missed. They were out there for the entirety of our 2 nights stay. We were able to hire longtail boats back and forth to downtown at a reasonable rate. The reception was helpful in helping us book a boat ride to check out the islands. We had most of our meals at the hotel restaurant, decent food!

I had an exceptional stay at Phi Phi Long Beach Resort Villa. In my experience, this is the most balanced and comfortable location on the island. Other areas tend to be overcrowded and noisy, especially considering that Phi Phi receives massive daily traffic from Krabi, Phuket, and other nearby destinations. Most visitors are day-trippers or short-term guests, while only a small number stay for a week or longer. For a 5–6 day holiday, this area is ideal. I found a very good deal for this hotel and paid 60 USD per night, which is an excellent price for the overall level, location, and quality of breakfast. The rooms are spacious, though some construction materials are visibly exposed—cracks, chips, unpainted surfaces, and panels that could be better finished. I booked a twin room with two single beds, but such a room was not available upon arrival. The hotel provided an extra bed free of charge, resulting in a king bed plus a single bed. Space was sufficient, and cleanliness was consistently maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job, working daily and attentively. The air conditioning performs well. The shower is basic, just an open floor without separation, but for this price and for an island with limited logistics, this is acceptable. Electricity works reliably. Wi-Fi exists but only functions near the reception area. Rooms are located higher up the hill, and in my unit the signal did not reach at all. This was the biggest disappointment, as I had to rely on mobile data. Reception and restaurant staff are friendly and welcoming. The hotel provides a free transfer from the main pier during check-in and check-out hours. We preferred not to rely on the schedule and used long-tail taxis instead: 120 THB per person during the day and 150 THB in the evening. Around the hotel there are many good cafés; walking to the right side of the beach you can find a small, cozy place where we ate regularly without any issues. I would not recommend eating in the main tourist center, where food hygiene complaints are common. The concierge team helps with luggage upon arrival and departure; when arriving by long-tail boat they meet you at the beach and deliver bags directly to your room. The standard tip is 100 THB, which I found reasonable considering the heat and the distance across the sand. The hotel has a swimming pool, though I chose not to use it, as I wasn’t sure about water replacement frequency. Breakfast offers a wide selection, consistently good coffee, and fresh fruits—usually dragon fruit and watermelon, or pineapple and watermelon. The continental options are solid, with a few Thai dishes available. Breakfast was excellent and kept us full until late afternoon. The beach is outstanding, with beautiful water and a peaceful atmosphere. I recommend buying water shoes, as sea urchins are present; I saw them while snorkeling. The water quality, sand, and overall environment are exceptional and fully worth the stay. We visited the central area once and immediately understood that it was not for us: loud, crowded, chaotic, and unpleasant. I would not recommend staying anywhere near the central streets. Long Beach offers everything needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this hotel and advise future guests to explore reviews of this specific area, as they will be helpful.

It's fine for a couple of days. But we didn't like Phi Phi itself. We went for relaxation and a beautiful sea, but instead, it was overcrowded, the sea wasn't very clean, and there was constant noise from motorboats. The hotel rooms were tired, and we saw cockroaches. Breakfast from the restaurant had a beautiful view, and the selection was limited, but everything was sufficient and delicious. If you want to arrange a transfer upon arrival, contact the hotel directly via WhatsApp, as the TripCom chat was lengthy and unproductive.
