I had an amazing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, while the facilities exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to New and Hakim, who made my stay truly memorable. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help with anything I needed made a huge difference. They were always welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The entire staff provided excellent service, and the warm atmosphere made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I look forward to returning and would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful hotel, we loved everything about it! The staff were all incredibly attentive and kind, especially Earn, Anda, and Som – you're the best. We received a room upgrade. Room 1501 itself is beautiful, cozy, bright, a corner unit with a large balcony. It feels very welcoming, with a large bed, four pillows, an armchair, a sofa, and a bar counter with stools. On the balcony, there are two armchairs and a table, offering a beautiful view of the cliffs, the pool, and the sea on the other side. The breakfast was excellent, with everything from soups and main courses to salads, five types of fruit, a good coffee machine, and plenty of pastries and cakes. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends!

The hotel service was great! For a room rate of just over 200, what more could you ask for? The hotel itself is a bit old, and the first floor was quite damp, but everything else was good. Especially the front desk staff and the bellhops were very kind. They even helped us take our luggage to the pier without any extra charge, which was really thoughtful. Phi Phi Island is beautiful and definitely worth staying a few days. The Ae Fish BBQ near the hotel was delicious, and there are so many cats on Phi Phi Island!

It's a long read, brace yourselves! We stayed in Vipa Tropical Resort for 5 nights and the trouble started right when we moved in. They showed us to the room, which was the a bungalo next to the pool. It looked nothing like the pictures of the room we booked. So I went to the reception and said ”that doesn't look like our room”. After some debate (we were told that they are fully booked and, in reality, this was an upgrade) they took us to Superior room #113. At first glance, it was the room that we booked, but then... things started to come to light... All firnuture was old and beaten down. Literary! There were bits and whole pieces missing or broken. So I made a complaint to Trip.com and demanded to either manage the situation or get me a full refund. While they promised to resolve the issue whithin an hour, we went out into town and when we got back reception was already closed (not a 24h service), so we went to our room, decided to ”sleep on it”, pulled the cover from the bed... it was stained and the blanket was dirty, like it wasn't changed from previous stay. Another call to support and there was nothing that could do about it, but to offer to wait until morning. We spent the night cramped on the couch. In the morning I went to the reception, called the lady into thr room and said ”I don't care about the furniture, but at least the sheets have to be white and clean and crisp”. She tried to tell me that those are clean, just the laundry that they use isn't doing a good job.... Again, we went out for the day and by the time we got back the sheets were white, clean and crisp. And Trip.com agent offered us some coins ”for the trouble”. After night 4, there was a knock on the door and we were offered to look at the room #114... And it was PERFECT! Just next door. The bed was clean, the furniture was brand new, the shower had strong and hotter water. Why, oh why?!?! Oh yeah, they were fully booked and just moved people around.... Besides, all the trouble, the nature around is stunning. Very green and quiet. And the cliff massively hanging above is nothing but spectacular, but... that's where the good part ends. P.S.: There waa a ”do not disturbe” sign on our door. And yet, when we got back from our day trip, there were towels and TP and two bottles of water sitting on the couch. Quite disturbing, concidering there's no safe deposit box in the room Not going to stay there again.

This hotel is more suitable for couples or adults than families with young children. It’s surrounded by nature, which is beautiful, but getting around can be inconvenient. You need to take the hotel’s transport from the pickup point to reach your room. If you stay in a Hill View or Jacuzzi room, you’ll have to go back down to the pickup point whenever you want to go out, so you’ll probably end up ordering room service most of the time. The swimming pool is located near the front of the property. It’s convenient if your room is nearby, but if you’re staying farther away, it can be quite a walk, which takes away some of the fun. On the positive side, the food was good, and the reception staff were very humble, friendly, and polite. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature, but it may not be the best choice for families with kids due to the layout and transportation around the resort.

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach by IHG, staying on a room package that included breakfast for five days. Overall, we had a lovely stay, but there were a few things worth sharing—especially for fellow Muslim travellers. We had assumed the breakfast buffet would be fully halal-friendly. While there were halal options available, pork was also served, so do keep that in mind if that’s important to you. The biggest frustration was the breakfast package itself. Although we had prepaid for all five days, the hotel had no record of it. Every single morning we had to explain that breakfast was included, which became quite irritating. Thankfully, after raising the issue for the third time, the team finally resolved it. As a kind gesture, they treated us to drinks at one of their restaurants, which we appreciated. A special anniversary touch was also a little confusing. Mr. Yah mentioned that a small cake would be delivered to our room, but it never arrived. On our final day, we received a brownie instead—perhaps that was the “small cake” he was referring to. That said, we absolutely loved the beautiful welcome message arranged on our bed when we arrived. It made us feel very special. Our daughter, Ava, had the best time! She absolutely loved the Kids Club and the mini water park, which kept her entertained for hours and made the holiday even more enjoyable for the whole family. The resort’s layout took a little getting used to. It’s spread across multiple levels, so navigating around was slightly confusing on the first day. After that, it became much easier. However, families with strollers or anyone with mobility challenges should be aware that moving between the different levels can be a bit of a challenge. Despite a few hiccups, we genuinely enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and tried to make things right when issues were raised, and the resort offers a great atmosphere for families. With a few improvements in communication and record-keeping, the experience would have been even better.

The room was clean and comfortable, with soft pillows and a wonderfully bouncy bed. The room was also very well soundproofed, so the construction noise from the ongoing renovations didn’t affect my stay at all. However, I was a little disappointed that almost every area of the hotel was being renovated, leaving very few beautiful spots for photos, which I had been looking forward to. Overall, I had a pleasant stay, especially thanks to the wonderful staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming. I was particularly impressed by the excellent service from the reception team. The only area I feel could use improvement is the fitness center, as it looks quite old and could benefit from a renovation. Perhaps I visited during the wrong season, but I hope to return during the high season when the renovations are complete, so I can enjoy the beautiful photo spots I missed this time. I’m already looking forward to visiting again! 💕

A porter met us at the port and kindly carried our bags to the hotel, which was a nice and welcoming start to our stay. The rooms were as described; however, the hotel itself feels quite dated and is in need of general maintenance and updating. There was a noticeable mold smell in the room initially, though this disappeared once the air conditioning was turned on. Breakfast was enjoyable, with good coffee and made-to-order eggs. The private beach was a highlight—quiet, calm, and never crowded. The pool water itself was clean, but unfortunately the surrounding area was littered with cigarette butts. While we were relaxing at the pool, another family began smoking. We informed the front desk, but no action was taken, which was disappointing, especially as there were visible no-smoking signs. The view from the fourth floor is truly spectacular. We did have one uncomfortable moment when housekeeping entered our room from the deck around 9 a.m. while we were packing. We greeted her immediately; she apologised and left. There was a Koi pond in the main lobby was sad as the fish in the side pond had insufficient water to swim upright.  This hotel could be amazing. Its peaceful location on an otherwise busy island, along with the dramatic cliffside setting and pool deck, gives it enormous potential. Unfortunately, it feels like the property has passed its peak, leaving a sense of missed opportunity rather than what it could still become.

The location is great, not far from Ao Nang beach and within walking distance, with restaurants all along the way. The pool is large, and the room is spacious and clean with a bathtub. Overall, it's good, but I have to deduct points for the staff's service. I also work in a hotel. My male friend and I came here for a vacation, thinking this place was good. That night, we came back from outside a little past midnight, about to enter the hotel to rest. A large, female staff member spoke to us in a tone that was inappropriate for guests. She asked which room we were in. We told her the room number. Then she asked if we had an ID. We said we had a reservation. She just replied, ”Oh,” and walked away without apologizing. I told my friend, and he said it was very rude. I wasn't okay with it because I also work in customer service. I treat my customers well because I expect to receive good service from staff as well. I want to say that no matter who the customer is, you are a service staff member, and your words have an impact. We didn't report it to the front desk because we were in a hurry to check out and go somewhere else. Everything else was fine, but if I were to stay here again, I'd pass for now.

This hotel stay was very nice. The pool view is stunning The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. She even upgraded our room without extra cost . She even organised someone to pick us up and carry our bags from the pear and from hotel to pear at check-in and check out . She even keeps our bags in a place near to pear for us to pick up in the afternoon for our ferry trip. Staff is very friendly too. We really enjoyed our two days stay and definitely recommend this hotel stay Will come back again with my family See view villa was the one we stayed it was the best
