Amazing
SStitchieThe overall atmosphere of the place gives off a relaxing, chill resort vibe. The lobby was welcoming, and the reception staff were all very friendly. You’ll definitely feel a touch of nature throughout the stay. However, do note that certain areas could use a bit of maintenance, and the rooms aren't soundproof—you might hear birds or even the toilet flushing from nearby rooms at night. The view is lovely, though the sea view was blocked by trees, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the service team was excellent—warm, attentive, and cheerful. Honestly, this is the kind of resort where the people shine more than the facilities. Well done to all the staff!

IItsnamthipA Perfect Birthday Stay at Pakasai Resort! I stayed at Pakasai Resort in Ao Nang, Krabi for 2 nights (June 22–24) and couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience—especially for my birthday! I originally only hoped for a room upgrade, but the resort went far beyond my expectations and made my celebration truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the surprises didn’t stop there. On my birthday, I was greeted with a beautiful birthday cake, a thoughtful message arranged on the bed, and genuinely heartfelt service throughout the day. I also booked dinner at GAIA, the resort’s own restaurant, and was treated to a free cocktail to celebrate. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent—it was the perfect birthday dinner. The resort itself is cozy and peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery that makes you feel close to nature. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, and the entire resort has a calm, welcoming vibe. Overall, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I highly recommend Pakasai Resort to anyone visiting Ao Nang, especially if you're looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, and genuinely caring service. I’m already thinking about coming back!

GGuest UserThe facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is a good price and the deluxe premier room with a balcony tub is wonderful. As with any 5 star resort hotel, it’s further out of town and grab/taxi takes a while to get but you can schedule in advance. Food in the hotel is good. Lots of choice. Slightly on the pricier side but still not too bad. Spa and massage is very expensive (for Thailand massage price) so we have that a miss. 2,000 thb head massage for 60min. Bangkok would be half of that. This includes happy hour 10-2pm 30% discount. Full body 3k. But having a jacuzzi on the balcony of the room was very worth it. Breakfast is great. Would I say here again? Yes! Is it 5 star? Yes! Is it value for money? Yes! Just be prepared for longer travel distance and time and slightly more expensive food and drinks and spa. P.s. it’s on the beach directly!! A smaller boutique 5* resort. Pools are nice and overall resort didn’t feel crowded.

SStephenQuattroThis place was a disappointment at the beginning. The reception staff had a very dismissive tone when we tried to book in early. The check in notice was smoothly pushed in front of us and it was unusual treatment from Thailand where people are always friendly even if they might not understand English very well. The rest of the resort was good. Good location right next to the beach, were you can see the tides coming in and out. The long tail boats stops right on the beach eager to take you wherever you want to go. I went to the reception toilet, sorry to share but it was amazingly clean and surprising after the unwelcome reception.

NNurul Nadia MohamedStay Dates: 13 – 16 September 2025 We stayed at Ananta Burin Resort and had a great experience overall! The resort is very kids-friendly — the highlight for us was the pool area with water slides, which kept the children happily entertained. The size of the resort is just right — not too big and not too small — making it easy to manage with kids. We booked connecting rooms for our group of four, which worked perfectly. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The only hiccup was on our last day when the whole building had no water supply, so we couldn’t shower before checking out (a funny memory now!). Location: The resort is slightly away from Ao Nang Beach and the main street market, but still accessible. Tuk-tuk rides are easy to get and cost around 100 THB, which was convenient. Massage & Spa: Like most places in Thailand, finding a good massage isn’t an issue — there are plenty of shops next to each other near the hotel, and the massages were great! Overall, I’m happy with our stay and would recommend Ananta Burin Resort to families looking for a kid-friendly, comfortable place in Krabi.

AAlina~FParadise ♥️ We absolutely loved the place. Comfortable bed, spacious room with a big balcony. The staff very polite. Lovely pools, one where most of the kids are and another one where is a bit more quiet if that’s what you looking for.Breakfast was nice, worth the money ( would’ve like a bit more options but not a major issue) . Room clean in general, clean bed, bathroom but me as a clean freak noticed some dust around the lamps . Maybe a bit more attention on that but that’s just me and that wouldn’t be a reason not to go back.Overall we had a great time ,we are very happy with Chada Thai Village and would definitely recommend.

LLisaM23Our stay at Bayview was fine for the 3 days…we were hardly at our room though. The location is fabulous- close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, the pier and entertainment. If you have little children the walk could be lengthy.. but was fine for us. It is the last resort before the famous Long Beach so there is a lot of foot traffic to Long Beach each day in the peak season. We stayed in a garden view room at peak time, it was okay.. but the room smelt musty, there was cockroaches in the bathroom and the shower didn’t really work. The resort also fumigates each room daily because of the bugs and insects- all these chemicals are not good for us ( in my opinion) and the resort should forewarn travellers or improve their facilities instead of spraying chemicals every day. The room had TV and YouTube and good but noisy AC. Bring your own beach towel if you can. The resort makes you check in and check out beach towels, but they were more like rags in my opinion with rips and tears. If your mobility is challenged this is not the resort for you. The resort is quite spread out. There is steep, steep paths and steps to most rooms and only the very few front rooms do not require such effort to get to your accommodation. I’d recommend stating this on your booking or confirming with the resort before you book if you don’t want to be hiking up to your room each day. Overall, a bearable place to stay for 3 days as we were mostly out each day but the resort could do with a major upgrade and improvements to its facilities.

CCurious ApeBalcony view from every Deluxe room is quite different, depending on which building you are assigned to during check in. Some face the smaller pool, some have distant sea view, some face small shrubs while some face tree branches and the worst are those that face a brown stagnant pond. So despite the Deluxe room description in Trip.com stating ”seaview”, you need good luck to get this view (only a few Deluxe rooms on the upper floors have sea-view in reality). A lot of squirrels in the hotel arounds and they are often bold enough to jump onto the balconies and hand railings - make sure you keep all your doors closed! Location is excellent - close to everywhere you would tend to go to: main street for food and shopping, Ao Nang Beach and the long-tail boat departure points to Railay beach

AAlbertoboy JRThis was my first time staying at a hotel with traditional Thai architecture, like what you’d see in palaces and temples, and it was such a cool experience. The room was totally worth the price, clean, tidy, and pretty spacious for just me traveling alone. The vibe of the place is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, yet it’s only a few steps away from the beach! There’s also a swimming pool which is great for families and kids friendly. Plus, there's a local night market not too far away, which was great to check out. The breakfast here was spot on, and the staff were all so nice and helpful. Overall, I had an amazing time and would definitely come back again! 😍
