Edinburgh Hotels with Kitchens

"I just wanted to follow up regarding the situation we encountered when we arrived. We had booked three double rooms for two nights so that our group could stay together. Unfortunately, we were informed at check-in that one of the rooms had no electricity and couldn’t be used, and one of our friends had to be moved to a different hotel. We completely understand that unexpected issues can sometimes happen. However, since we specifically booked three rooms in the same hotel so our group could stay together, having one of us placed somewhere else has been quite inconvenient for us and has made it more difficult to coordinate our plans during the trip. In addition, the hotel that was arranged for our friend was unfortunately of a much lower standard than the one we originally booked. This was quite surprising for us, especially since we had chosen and paid for your hotel expecting a certain level of comfort and experience for everyone in our group. While we appreciate that your staff tried to find a solution at the time, the overall arrangement has left us feeling rather disappointed with the situation. We hope you can understand why this has been frustrating for our group, and we would really appreciate it if you could let us know whether there is anything that can be done to help make up for the inconvenience caused. "Kick Ass Greyfriars is absolutely spotless one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in! I felt completely safe throughout my stay. The bathrooms were well-kept and fresh, and the reception desk staff were so nice and welcoming. Would definitely recommend! Solo or with friends & family book without doubt. ."

"Room was quite small but very thoughtfully laid out. Bed was extremely comfortable and the amenities were good quality - Molton Brown toiletries, GHD hairdryer and Nespresso coffee machine. The complimentary drink at 5pm was a nice touch. The only downside was the lack of breakfast in the hotel itself. However, we had a good discounted breakfast at The Huxley and a 50% discount at Castle Terrace car park."

"Had another great stay at Yotel. Check-in easy with friendly helpful staff. Free tea and coffee available in the bar all day which is a lovely bright airy space. We love the minimalism of the bedroom - wall to wall white but spotless with super comfy beds and brilliant shower. Also great location for restaurants and shops and Waverly a reasonable 20 minute walk away."

"1b1b apartment at very great location near royal mile and train station. Other floors are for U of Edinburgh students. Room is clean and the kitchen tools are provided. Check in and check out are very smooth."

"The Loft is really central in the city and the beds were comfortable. We traveled with 4 people and had the whole room for us. The best part is the cooperation with The Court and that you can participate in the activities there, as well as store your bags on the day of the checkout."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed at Stewart by Heeton Concept for 2 days and I would absolutely love to come back in the future! The apartment was spotless — no dust, no bed bugs, fresh clean bedsheets, and a tidy washroom. Everything was well-maintained and made for a really comfortable stay. It truly felt like a great place to relax and unwind. The only two things I’d mention as areas for improvement: the check-out time of 10:30 AM felt a little early, and a few basic toiletry amenities like toothpaste, a toothbrush, and slippers were missing. Everything else was provided and well-stocked. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Will definitely be returning! 😊"

"It is a nice place for us Backpackers to crash in for a few days. 30mins walking distance to the hike to Arthur's Seat, very close to a nice park in the front. The staff are friendly and there are Nintendo Switch, guitar, book, magazines etc in the common room. Fun place!"

"This hotel is conveniently located near the city's train station. It has a front desk and luggage storage (for a fee of £3 per piece). Check-in time is 2 PM, and check-out time is 10 AM. The hotel is apartment-style, with spacious and clean rooms, each equipped with a kitchen, kettle, refrigerator, microwave, and tableware. However, there is no elevator, and the toilet and bathroom are located in the hallway. The front desk service is not very friendly to Chinese guests. If you don't mind the type of hotel when traveling to Edinburgh, this hotel is a good option."

"Another night staying at this hostel. We stayed in a six-person female dorm. Except that the drainage is quite bad at the shower room, and the bunk bed is noisy when i move, everything is good and clean. A good choice for budget traveller!"
