This hotel in Battelle Point offers a fantastic, tranquil environment. The free parking is a huge plus. The room layout is very well designed, and the small balcony provides a great view. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you don't need to bring your own cookware. You can buy groceries at the nearby Red and Green supermarkets if you plan to cook, just remember to get your own cooking oil – the hotel even provides salt and pepper! Highly recommend.

The location is close to a small street next to the coastal pier. There are bars nearby, making it busy yet quiet. The decoration of the hotel is elegant, simple and contemporary. There is a laundry room on the floor, complete with washing powder and a washer and dryer. Although the closing time is closed, the door is not locked by visual inspection. The room is spacious and newly decorated. It is equipped with electric stove, oven, microwave and simple stove. There is no peculiar smell. However, there is no heating lamp in the bathroom, the water in the wash basin is very slow, and there is no bathtub. It's about a 15-minute walk from the city center. It's a bit dark in the middle and there are less people. It's a bit inconvenient after dark. But the airport Air-bus is right next to the pier, about a five-minute walk. For Tasmania's largest city, this hotel is a top choice.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk to the harbor and market. Hobart isn't very big, so it's perfectly walkable for sightseeing. There's on-site parking available, which is convenient for those driving. The front desk staff were very efficient. Our booked room was in the building across from the front desk entrance. Overall, this renovated old building offers a very unique hotel experience. The duplex room had a large bed upstairs and another large bed in a separate room downstairs. Plus, there were two toilets downstairs, which was incredibly convenient. The bathrooms were very new and clean, and towels were changed daily. There were no slippers or toothbrushes, but shampoo and body wash were provided. There's also a separate laundry room. If you want to cook, there's a kitchen available too. Overall, I was very satisfied and would recommend it to other friends.

Stayed for one night for a work conference. The check in was smooth and quick, I opted for convenient on-site parking and dining in-house. The Charcoal restaurant food and wine menu was excellent, service was attentive and fast. Check out was easy. I walked into town to buy some items required for my work, its central location is commendable. I highly recommend staying here.

The room wasn't very big, and since I booked only a week in advance, the price was a bit higher than expected. Overall, the hygiene was acceptable, although there were hairs on the bed and in the bathroom when I checked in. The hotel staff helped us resolve that. I forgot to take photos of the room, but you can refer to the hotel's pictures and other reviews; they're all pretty similar. It's worth noting that international hotels aren't as accommodating as domestic ones when it comes to upgrades. Here, you'd either need to be a high-tier member or pay for a higher room category to get an upgrade. Each day, the room is stocked with two bottles of drinking water, a carton of milk, and the usual capsule coffee and tea bags – pretty standard. However, I don't understand why housekeeping moved my belongings. Several times, I returned to find my neck pillow on the floor, clothes I'd hung on the hanger had been moved, and my slippers were in a different spot. While it's not a major issue, it was a bit annoying for someone with OCD. I hope the hotel can pay attention to this aspect. I've included a few breakfast photos. On a side note, the fillet steak at the downstairs restaurant was very tender and worth trying.

Not great if u drive. It will cost u $42 a day for valet parking. Breakfast was decent with a à la carte main and a buffet continental when u pay for it with ur room. 24 hrs room service was also appreciated but the food could be better. Location was smack right in town with woolsworth supermarket just 5mins away on foot.

Overall, I was very satisfied. I didn't experience any of the soundproofing issues mentioned in other reviews. The room was also much larger than the Ibis I stayed in later, far exceeding my expectations. There was lotion at the sink, as well as a dedicated hand soap. The mountain view from the window was beautiful, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The only minor drawback was a dark mark on the bedsheet, possibly from a washing machine or similar equipment. However, this small flaw doesn't detract from the overall experience, and I would definitely stay here again next time!

Since we arrived in the early hours of the morning, the hotel was very accommodating. Knowing my wife is pregnant, they allowed us to check in a little early so she could rest properly. Overall, it was good, aside from some noise. However, I think this is due to poor soundproofing, which seems to be a common issue across Australia. Essentially, it's very convenient, with a bus stop and light rail station right downstairs, making it easy to get to different attractions.

The room is quite clean!!! Honestly we have been to many places, cleanliness is top thing for travelers, so never tired of repeating this. Location is great with a nice dock view and near Coles and Woolies(8min drive). The off-hour calls are picked up and attended patiently and considerably. Quiet and easy to fall asleep. The only thing is the hot-water was gone too quick, I assume they are using the solar panels? The hot water once consumed will not come back as they promised at night. Honestly didn’t impact my family since we take quick shower for water-saving for the planet by default. But should make a note here.

I took a public bus from Hobart city and arrived in 10 minutes from the bus stop. Public buses are currently free for a limited time, so I recommend it for those who want to save money. The double bed and shower-toilet were spacious, and I could watch YouTube on the TV. The next morning, I had to go to the airport before the first shuttle bus, so I walked to save money. It was a 30-minute walk pushing a suitcase, but the sidewalks were well-maintained and easy to walk on.
