Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything.

Spacious, clean and comfortable new hotel . Dinner in the restaurant was delicious . We loved the stir fried vegetable ,and chicken dish which was juicy and seasoned well. Thumbs up to the chef and also to the waiter and waitress who served us that night. This hotel was a great choice as a base for our Qinghai-Gandhi Grand Loop . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Xining.

The property is conveniently located about 1.5 km from Kunming Railway Station, making it an ideal choice for travelers heading to Lhasa via the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast offered a variety of tasty dishes. The reception staff were very helpful and enthusiastic; they assisted us in hailing a taxi and communicating with others. They gifted us some small cute things as thankful for customers. Highly recommend to others. Khách sạn có vị trí thuận tiện, cách Ga xe lửa Côn Minh khoảng 1,5 km, là lựa chọn lý tưởng cho du khách đi đến Lhasa qua Đường sắt Thanh Hải-Tây Tạng. Các phòng sạch sẽ và được trang trí đẹp mắt, bữa sáng cung cấp nhiều món ăn ngon. Nhân viên lễ tân rất giúp đỡ và nhiệt tình; họ hỗ trợ chúng tôi gọi taxi và giao tiếp với những người khác. We really enjoyed our stay at the Mehood Hotel in Xining. The location is excellent — perfect for a stop before and after our trip to Yushu. As with many centrally located hotels, drop-off and pick-up are a short walk from the entrance, but this wasn’t an issue for us. The lifts are shared and can get a bit busy at times, but once on the hotel floor, it’s peaceful and quiet. The breakfast offers a good variety, mostly Chinese dishes, but the staff were understanding and didn’t mind us bringing extra food for the children. The staff were consistently friendly and especially kind to our kids, which made our stay even more pleasant. I really appreciated the laundry room with washing machines — being able to do our own laundry was such a bonus during our travels. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff quickly moved us to a cooler room on the other side of the hotel, which we really appreciated. Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay in Xining. We’d happily come back!

The hotel service was impeccable, with great attention to detail. This included the way glasses were carefully handed and held, the thoughtful recommendations, the staff’s soft and calm tone of voice, the complimentary homemade and delicious yogurt offered every afternoon, and the genuine effort to overcome the language barrier. As an opportunity for improvement, I would suggest offering more low-fat or fat-free options at breakfast and in the restaurant. We had a great time at Xining. The hotel's location, staff and service were excellent. We had smooth and quick check in and check out. While they couldn't speak English, they did their best to understand and answer my questions. The view from my room (19th floor) was great. I thought I could take some cool long exposure pictures in the night but there were very big bright lights close to our window that didn't let me. One thing I noticed was that the breakfast was mentioned to be both Chinese and Western, but it was only Chinese. I wish I had this clarity so I wouldn't have picked the room with breakfast. The entrance was not super convenient especially if you're carrying a lot of luggage. Since you'll have to help yourself, prepare accordingly.

The name of the Hotel is Mei Si International Hotel.and not Muslim Mansion Hotel like how it's sold on the booking sites. The hotel was obviously built in the 1980's and little has changed since that time. It's an interesting time machine to those times. The bed is excellent and very comfortable. Receptionists are reserved but helpful, the rooms are of a good size. Everything was quite satisfactory if you can accept that this is a very old and distinguished faded hotel in a prime location in Xining. All in all it was an excellent stay.
