"After our trip to Qinghai, we returned to the Holiday Inn Express, and it felt like coming back to civilization. The front desk staff were professional and friendly. There's underground parking, and the room was clean and spacious. For dinner, we had 'Kaiguo Lamb' at the hotel restaurant – selected short ribs simmered in broth for 15 minutes, then dipped in sauce, which was absolutely delicious! We finished with some vegetables cooked in the same pot. The breakfast spread, a mix of Western and Chinese, was also very rich. Compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels in mainland China, this one offered local specialties like yogurt and noodles. If I ever come back to Xining, I'll definitely choose to stay here again."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining. It's right next to a Wanda Plaza. The rooms and facilities are new, clean, and hygienic. It's especially quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep, so I, who have trouble sleeping, decided to extend my stay. Parking is on the street downstairs, and because we arrived late and couldn't find a spot, the owner came down twice to help, moving his own car for us. The owner and front desk staff were very kind. 👍 There's also a large convenience store on the first floor with a full range of daily necessities. The beef and lamb in Xining are amazing! Before leaving, we bought some, and the owner kindly froze it in the hotel's freezer for us to take home the next day. We were very grateful. Speaking of food, there's a night market downstairs that stays open very late. We arrived late that day and ate there. We found a small shop called ”Harbin Mala Tang” and ordered clay pot rice noodles and Mala Tang, both of which were delicious and inexpensive. My daughter said it was better than Zhang Liang's. While eating, we heard a story: a delivery guy accidentally spilled some food while delivering to their shop, so he went back and bought a replacement to compensate the customer. The owner of this small mala tang (spicy hot pot) shop told the delivery driver, ”If this happens again, just tell me. I can forgo the money the shop makes, saving you a few yuan. You only earn so little in this sweltering heat...” Wishing this little shop booming business! I think Xining must be a warm city, where we encounter one heartwarming scene after another. This was just a brief stopover, but I'll definitely make a special trip back next time..."

"The hotel's location is great, which is why I booked it. The listed room size is big, but the bedroom itself is quite small, while the living area is huge. The layout is a bit odd. Breakfast selection is limited; there were only two types of congee. At 9:42 AM, I was told they were closing soon and to grab more food if I wanted. This is the first time I've encountered such a situation. The guy at the front desk was handsome and very considerate, acting quickly to help guests."

"After comparing a few hotels, I still decided to go with Sofitel! And I'm so glad I did, it was a truly nice experience. Firstly, the hotel has a fantastic design; it doesn't feel old or dated at all, and the facilities are impeccably maintained, definitely five-star standard. Secondly, the billiard and ping-pong rooms are a real highlight! Thirdly, the service was incredibly thoughtful. It just so happened to be my birthday during my stay, and my butler, Xiao Qi, thoughtfully delivered a birthday cake – I was truly touched!"

"Facilities: Alright, the automatic toilet wasn't very responsive. Cleanliness: Good, quite clean, just a slight odor in the bathroom. Environment: Very convenient, easy to find, and the lobby is grand. There's also a parking lot. Service: Excellent, they even provided a complimentary fruit platter! No air conditioning though. On my first night, I experienced the local style of no AC, which was a bit stuffy and dry. Luckily, June 30th wasn't a high-temperature day, so I managed to get through it, haha! 😝 Dining: It's passable, but I'd recommend eating out."

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining! It's super close to the train station and only 20 minutes from the airport! The most important thing is that the environment is incredibly clean and comfortable – a germaphobe's dream! It even has air conditioning, which is really rare for hotels in Xining. Although I stayed for two days and didn't feel cold at all, so I never even turned it on. (P.S. The cleaning lady is so thoughtful! On my first day, I didn't know how to use the disposable toilet seat cover, so I just left it aside. When I came back the next day, I found that she had set up a new one for me! 🥳)"

The front desk staff, particularly a young lady who went by 'Serta Mattress' (or maybe that was her name, it's a bit unclear!), was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. She showed me the rooms, helped me compare prices, and even upgraded my room type. She also recommended some night markets. The breakfast was very good too, so I decided to extend my stay!"

"This time I lived very comfortably and the overall experience was full. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and it feels very refreshing as soon as you enter the room. The floor, bedding and bathroom are cleaned spotlessly. The mattress is moderately soft and hard, sleep until dawn, and the sound insulation effect is also online. The reception is gentle and polite, the procedures are efficient, and the questions are answered patiently. The surrounding facilities are complete, eating and shopping are not far away, the price is online, the first choice for travel accommodation, has been recommended to friends!"

"I had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining—you'll be in good hands here. 我在这家酒店住得非常愉快，最主要的原因是这里的服务人员实在太棒了。酒店的位置很好，离东关大清真寺和下南关街都很近，那边非常适合买吃的，晚上也有热闹的街头小吃。酒店的设计带点复古的怀旧风格，不是那种很浮夸的类型，但非常干净舒适，我完全没有任何不满意的地方。酒店还有自己的私人停车场，对于自驾的客人来说非常方便。真正让这次住宿变得特别的是他们的服务。我当时高原反应挺严重的，结果完全不用我开口，前台的工作人员看到我的状况后，主动送来了药、酸奶和一瓶氧气到我的房间。这种细心和关怀真的让人很感动。晚上我的房间有点太暖，尽管已经很晚了，夜班的工作人员还是很乐意帮我换了房间，我真的很感激。特别感谢马平女士对我所有的帮助。我一定会把这家酒店推荐给要来西宁的旅客 - 你们在这里一定会被好好照顾的。"
