One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at whilst on vacation in India. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The breakfast selection was also really amazing. Situated next to the Palladium mall which was really convenient.

Hareth84Stayed there for one night, check-in took a bit of time not sure why but the check out took only a few second, the staff are very friendly, getting Uber to the hotel lobby is confusing for the drivers, rooms are massive with comfy beds and pillows. You should add coffee machine. Overall it was decent 👌🏾

Charlene WooStayed here for 1 night as a transit hotel after a short trip in Mumbai. The hotel looks very grand from the outside and gives a good first impression. However, during check-in, I was given a room with 2 queen beds even though I had booked a king bed room. The receptionist told me it was a very beautiful room, so I accepted it, but honestly it felt like just a normal room. I believe the king bed rooms were likely sold out, which was probably why I was given a first-floor room instead.
I was not very happy about that, but since it was only a transit stay and I had to wake up early for my flight, I decided not to make an issue out of it. Another downside was the airport drop-off service, which cost 1700 INR including tax ($25 dollars)for only about a 10-minute ride. It felt quite expensive, but with a 4 am flight, I still paid for the convenience. Overall, okay for a short transit stay, but not perfect.

dyhxChose this hotel as I was attending an event in Bombay Exhibition Centre, 10 mins ride away from the hotel in smooth traffic. The airport is also 15-40mins away depending on traffic.
The room is spacious from bathroom area to the main bedroom, it could even fit 3 beds comfortably. The bed is too soft for my liking but pillow is good. The bathroom comes with a tub, standing shower and separate toilet. Water pressure in the shower is good and heats up fast. The open concept wardrobe is just next to the shower but having the luggage rack built just under the safe is a safety hazard, almost hit the corner couple of times when taking things out of the luggage. I don't know if it's because the door is heavy or my neighbors are strong, the doors appear to slam each time it closes.
I love the scent of Westin's White Tea series which is provided here too, ***** with all basic amenities. They are also very generous with the complimentary bottled water, 6 in all. I appreciate that they noted and acceded to my request for a room near the lift.
Service was excellent, the staff were friendly, polite, helpful and full of smiles from the bellboy to security team to front desk to housekeeping and those at the breakfast service.
Breakfast at Seasonal Tastes on Level 18, had a view as amazing as the spread, of both international staples to local flavours. Live egg and Paratha/Dosa stations, wide selection of nuts, fruits and juices too.
A true 5* stay and will be my choice hotel every time I return to Mumbai.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: The Leela Mumbai
I recently stayed at The Leela Mumbai, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—close to the airport yet incredibly peaceful once inside the property.
The room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly designed, with comfortable bedding and all the amenities I needed. The staff deserve special appreciation: warm, attentive, and always ready to help without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick.
Dining was another highlight. The food at Citrus was exceptional, with great variety and excellent quality. Room service was prompt and well-presented.
The hotel’s pool, gardens, and fitness center create a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind after a busy day.
Overall, The Leela Mumbai provides a perfect mix of luxury, comfort, and hospitality. I would highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again.

The yoga courses and Zimbabwe courses are not there but they will pretend that they are there.
I asked 4 times to get the schedules through email but that email never came . Be careful cause the security at swimming pool is just like a decoration cause everyone can enter without having the room card to the swimming pool area by just jumping in while some clients are entering. And maybe there is a collaboration with the staff because actually in such beggars clothes how can they pass unobservant even the main door of the reception of the hotel! They have strict policies about cancellation which normally all the other marriotts of the world have..specially with clients who have diamond and travel genius highest level as vip clients .they dont consider that they stayed the entire week 7 days and it can happen that the last day some unpredictable work thing can happen. The 24 /7 service is just a fake thing cause if you call at a normal 10 pm the person's who ll pick up the phone after a LONG wait they still make you wait for the next morning for the concerned person to come and ask. They say ”we ll call you back but that call never comes” .

Fiona Wong-KautzWe like the convenience of the hotel to the airport and the friendliness of the staff at the hotel. They were really service oriented and genuinely professional.
We didn’t like the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms - there were bits and pieces of dirt from the corridor to the room. We wish they would scrub down the toilets but also understand the highe turnover. We love the shower - powerful and unclogged. Food was also fine - we ordered room service. The portions are huge and taste acceptable.

Jason BrucknerCharming old hotel in a great location with stunning ocean views.
Excellent staff and service from front desk through to housekeeping. Shout out to Ashutosh in dining for educating me on lots of delicious Mumbai food. And desserts to die for!
Wonderful rooftop pool. And the views from the rooftop bar are unrivaled.
Highly recommended for a 2-3 day stay.

A wonderful weeklong stay, thanks to the entire team
We had a truly pleasant weeklong stay at Taj Lands End. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout. The breakfast spread was quite good, offering plenty of variety.
While frontline staff rightly receive the most recognition, I’d like to shine a light on the silent warriors behind the scenes—the housekeeping team, who work tirelessly to ensure every guest is comfortable. A special shout-out to Mr. Umesh from housekeeping, who went out of his way to make a real difference to our stay.
Thank you, Team Taj Lands End, for a memorable experience.

It's not a 5 star hotel just a four star maintaining its old legacy. It's too old , AC doesn't work cooling very low, most of the time room is hot, no fridge in room, food served in the room cold and uncooked. Room size is too small as compared to five star hotel.
Services in dining too is very poor, we ordered for tea, coffee and cold coffee for guests it took 45 minutes to serve that too cold tea and coffee it created very bad impression. I asked them to bill it to my room they refused told it's against our policy and you have to pay it here itself, that means you don't have trust in your guest ( never seen like this in any 5 star hotels).
As far as cleaning they don't come and clean on regular basis or change towels you have to call them two or three times then only staff comes.
Basically it has a good ambience but it is not a 5 star hotel.
I visited this place nearly after 15 years, they have degraded rather than improvement.
To keep up the reputation management and staff will have to work very hard.
