It's a fully smart home, and the front desk staff went through all the controls for the lights, AC, and hot water before I even entered the room – very thorough! The tea aroma diffuser in the hallway, with its Tieguanyin scent, was so pleasant every time I walked by. During my stay, the butler was not only quick to respond but also helped me avoid several popular attractions that usually have long queues. The bathtub area was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the water pressure was steady with plenty of hot water, leaving me feeling completely relaxed after a soak. The room was tidied up perfectly, and there was an ample supply of bottled water. I took a few photos of the light and shadows around the bathtub, and they looked so atmospheric; my friends even asked where it was. It's definitely a spot worthy of being an Instagram hot spot. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Xiamen."

"📍Andaz Xiamen | Family Room My husband and I stayed at the Andaz Xiamen in 2021 or 2022, shortly after it opened, and it was quite new and we were very satisfied with our stay. This time, traveling with our baby, we chose a family room, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel's service details were spot-on, and the hotel exudes a full Nanyang retro vibe, with photo opportunities everywhere. It's perfect for taking pictures. The most pleasant surprise was the travel photography service included with our stay. The photographer was very patient and proactively guided our poses, avoiding stiff, forced shots and excelling at capturing a relaxed, natural feel. There was a rich selection of shooting locations, and the original photos had great quality. When we stayed before, this photography service wasn't available, but now it seems most hotels nationwide offer something similar, which is quite convenient. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes and the taste was superb. Breakfast here is much better than at the Hyatt Centric Xiamen, several tiers above! If you're looking to effortlessly get great vacation photos in Xiamen, I highly recommend the Andaz Xiamen."

"The room was very comfortable and spacious. Being on a higher floor, the ceiling was quite tall, which felt great. The bedding wasn't damp at all. Overall, there were many activities for kids; they had a blast at the pool. If it rained, they could switch to indoor play, and when the weather was good, they played outdoors. There were plenty of choices, and the kids were very happy. Breakfast was also rich and varied. The only downside was having to pay a deposit, which I haven't done at a hotel in a long time."

"Came to Xiamen with my child for their birthday, and it was a very satisfying stay. The location is superb, with a food street, park, and beach right downstairs. The on-site parking garage is very convenient, and there's a pool on the rooftop. Special shout-out to the front desk lady, she had a round, cute face and always smiled and greeted us whenever we came in or out. They thoughtfully allowed us to check in early and decorated the room for the birthday, which made my child very happy."

"Considering it was May Day, this price was truly excellent! It's located in the Binhai North area, not a heavily touristy spot, but rather a 'rich' neighborhood known mostly to long-term Xiamen residents. There are many cafes and light music bars. It perfectly suited my foreign friend's needs, and the area is full of expats, though admittedly fewer than in previous years. My clients used to specifically request this hotel; I heard it was one of the first in Xiamen to host foreign guests. The hotel's front desk staff all spoke excellent English. The hotel itself had a charming 90s European/American film vibe, which I unfortunately forgot to photograph."
