"Given that it's Las Vegas, staying on the Strip might be a bit more convenient for sightseeing, but this accommodation's location wasn't bad at all. More importantly, the condition of the room and overall satisfaction for the price were excellent. If I had to pick the best possible accommodation in this price range, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. I was a little worried because of rumors about it being haunted, but after staying there, I didn't get that feeling at all, so you can rest assured. Overall, it was a really great value-for-money stay."

I was a little worried when I exited the freeway and immediately found myself driving through a large homeless encampment. However, it was confined to that one block. The hotel itself does not have homeless hanging outside or milling around. There is a parking garage, but if your vehicle is taller than 68” you won’t be able to use it. Instead, you’ll have to park in the immediate adjacent covered spaces (none available when we got there at 10:00); but there’s another outdoor lot that was never full on the other side of the hotel- accessible by foot by either walking through the casino or outside about œ block. Your hotel room key will get you in and out of the outdoor lots and garage. Hotel staff and security are very nice and helpful. The hotel was very clean, but I have asthma so walking through the smokey casino was difficult. I forgot that Vegas is still stuck in the 70’s when it comes to indoor smoking. We had a room on the 9th floor. There are 4 good sized elevators that arrive quickly and they are clean and don’t smell. Our room was clean, but no coffee maker and no microwave. There is a small mini fridge- really small. There’s a hairdryer on the wall by the sink. Adequate water pressure in the shower. Enough counter space on both sides of the sink for bathroom items. Shower has soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers- I forgot to let management know that the conditioner was pretty much jammed, but I was able to get some out with a lot of pumping. Queen beds were comfortable. Very thin “blanket” so if you’re with someone who cranks the AC up, you’ll need a better blanket. The AC unit was a bit loud but I usually have white noise playing to get to sleep so it was good for me. Our room overlooked the freeway and industrial area so we did have freeway noise- again not an issue for me. I liked the shutters instead of drapes. Floors could do away with the carpeting in the rooms. We didn’t watch any television but there is one. Surrounding area: Mob Museum is across the street. So is Fremont Street which has some of the oldest hotels and Binions where you can take a photo with a stack of money- I think it’s 1 million dollars. The California Hotel across the street caters to Hawaiians. You’ll find great Hawaiian food there. They also have the pool for Main Street use- can’t comment because I didn’t use it. What I learned today when we headed home is that there’s a Costco (needed gas) 5 minutes away & the escape rooms that my friend said we should check out (we didn’t have time). There is a fantastic breakfast place 2 blocks down that is always busy. Hash House. If it’s packed, go to the bar to order takeout. Takes 15 minutes and you can grab a table in the food court 100 feet away.

I think it depends on the timing, but the check-in line (about 7 groups) moved incredibly slowly, and I was tired after standing for about 30 minutes. There were several Starbucks and food shops within the hotel, so I didn't need to go out. The bed and shower in the room were clean. However, the lack of a refrigerator in the room was inconvenient, but I was satisfied with the room's size, price, and cleanliness.

Good location and beautiful castle theme hotel ! When I step inside, feel like stepping into middle ages fairytales ! I like the shower, the hot water get warm very quickly. Cleanliness may need some improvement, the toilet seat surrounding wasn’t cleaned, I helped to clean it before using it. The ceiling and door had some rust and broken pieces, but they didn’t bother me. Overall is a good experience. I will recommend it.

The entrance to the accommodation is near a casino or entertainment venue, and the atmosphere inside is very chaotic. You also have to go through a security check to be identified. I personally felt that the hotel was neither safe nor convenient. The only redeeming feature is that it is very close to the old town, which is very convenient. However, the bathroom space is not comfortable.

Before the draft, one note: I kept your main points while making the review clearer and more balanced. Expect to pay full price. I had a three-night reservation, but I was charged an additional $175 short-stay fee, plus $50 in service fees. The short-stay fee was never disclosed during the booking process, which was disappointing. I was also denied room service because of my short stay. Considering the additional $175 fee, I would have expected room service to be included. Overall, The Berkley is always a nice place to stay with family, and I've enjoyed my visits. However, it would be helpful if all additional fees and any service restrictions were clearly disclosed before booking so guests know exactly what to expect.

We visited there on March 7-10, 2026. We came earlier around 11 am, and the check-in time supposed to be 3 pm and we ask the lady if we could check in early but they told us that they don’t have available room for us and they have to charge us $45.00 early check in fee . So we left and we came back past 5pm , but they still charged us with the Amount of $45.00 even we check in 5 pm . We don’t have control to our credit card because it was a pre authorized card . Now. I have to call my bank to dispute this transaction . They don’t even change our towel there we have to request first to the customer service. No clean up during our stay .

Annual trip to home city, and it doesn’t disappoint ! Still indifferent towards the red tone windows, so I put make-up on in the pool lobby lounge. Restaurant and reception staff quite well versed. Hot water and coffee machine in Lobby. Breakfast choices good, but the beverage buy simply prompts a tip for staff. Suggest give option to charge to room. Lots of banquets or private events going on. Sports TVs on the spot. Location best for my own purpose. Walked to 18b Arts District to see friends within 30 minutes. Souviniers shop 3 minutes. Local amenity shops within 2-5 miles on the same road. Mutual friends of friends were a nice surprise to run into. Late checkout was granted due to another room having a late-night disruption mid-sleep. Great bikes and art on display. Really col video in Lobby about the Ahern family and businesses. International ATM appreciated 😍 Suggestion: Those with local ID or residency can get a lesser room deposit. Aside, refund was fast for international banking upon checkout. Luggage storage very convenient. Cleaning staff nonstop efficient. Happy Chinese New Year of the Horse!

The room is quite spacious and clean. There's an elevator, which is a lifesaver for big luggage. The hotel has parking available; just let the front desk know you need it when checking in. They'll register your car and give you a pass with your departure date. From the hotel, you can walk to the Sphere and also to the Las Vegas Strip. There's a 7-Eleven right next door too.
