My first time at the hotel was great. The second time, towels had a smell of some dog. After a shower, I also had a smell of that dog. When you go to shower you don't think about sniffing the towels, and then after shower you have no choice rather than just use what you have. Funny on one side, disgusting on the other. I understand that some guests can use towels to wipe their dogs, which is I think disrespectful to other guests, I would never do that, however hotel housekeeping stuff could notice this smell, and simply place normal ones. For some reason, they didn't do that. Just an advice: smell towels in the hotels BEFORE you go to shower! Somewhat disappointed.

It's a nice place good location and it's clean one thing though about quiet times they need to do better people should only be allowed to chat or make a phone calls at the reception sitting area regardless of the time.

Highly recommend. Me and my friend stayed in one room. One room has enough space for big luggage. Bed is big enough. Toilet is really clean even you share with others. A few things were the ac broke down. The first day was really hot and feel like sauna. One huge thing is the locker is free and you can basically use it whenever you want. Really good sound proof. Can only hear footstep while inside. Safe. Never need to worry people rush in your space.

The price was good, which I appreciated. It's a shame the kitchen wasn't available for use. As with other A&O hostels, the room cleanliness was insufficient and lacked a sense of tidiness, which I hope they improve upon.

I’m sorry,Iv read the reviews after I booked and was terrified, but I loved the hotel, I loved the location, the hotel itself was good, yes they have a few policies, €50 deposit( you get back no problem), the 15:00 check in( if that’s there policy then live with it)I said there for 3 nights over a weekend and will honestly be back, I do t know why so many bad reviews

Location is exceptional - just outside Markthal and a 5 min walk from the harbours. 20 second walk from Rotterdam Blaak Train and Metro Station. You do get what you pay for however - rooms are VERY small (as depicted). There is a Shared “kitchen” area with tea / coffee also there. Our shower didnt drain properly and so anything longer than 5 mins flooded the hotel room lol. Also no privacy in the bathroom - no lock and its frosted glass so be wise who you share it with! Only had 2 flat pillows for a double bed so that was a bit meh. Also a draft in the window so being December it was quite cold. AC / heating didn’t work either. TV worked with Netflix and Youtube, and you could stream from your phone but this was a bit temperamental. Reception were kind but seemed a little unorganised / unsure about things. Would defo come here again however for a budget stay in the city, the location is absolutely unbeatable :

The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to the famous Arch Market and the subway station. Plus, there's a McDonald's and a supermarket nearby for some quick shopping. 🥰 The only minor drawbacks are that the room is a bit small and you have to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk, but other than that, everything else was great!

First time solo travelling and picked this hotel due to its location, look and price. Easy accessible to the train station (only a 20 minute walk) and 20 to 30 minutes to sights i wanted to see. The centre for all your shops and eateries where a 35 minute walk. Bus stops only at the end of the road but I never used them as I was happy to walk everywhere. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the shower especially after a long day walking. Everything was explained to me (Wi-Fi, tv, air-con). Plus a super comfy bed.

There is no elevator, the stairs are beyond imagination, the boss is very good, very enthusiastic, help with luggage and lie down the stairs. Cheap price, poor setting

Beautiful location, especially Scheveningen, but the price for the room is very high.
