5-Star Hotels in Tunis Governorate, Tunisia

Genuinely was a lovely place to stay, clean and hotel staff very hospitable, surrounded by beach and 15-20 mins away from sidi bu saïd. I booked the breakfast included and it is a feast and a half - I tend to be a picky eater but there is plenty of options fresh, and cooked well ( I’m a hypochondriac- and tend to be paranoid with food) but the place put me at ease and I actually ate well . Would visit again but would keep in mind to public transport if you wish to travel further into Tunis central - as trains are limited and buses and taxis can add up. But all in all it was stunning location and can’t fault the staff :) first time visitor to Tunisia and hope to visit again.

The hotel is located in the best area of ​​Tunis, right in the lake area, with complete surrounding facilities and good security. The hotel rooms are well-equipped, large and comfortable.

Regarding the architecture and design of the hotel I find it magnificent... sublime staff. Cleanliness for a 5* hotel not at all up to par. I loved the garden and the swimming pool, the rooms etc. Only it lacks maintenance, they say they are going to close for a major renovation, in this case... this is where I will stay every time I am in Tunis.

In general considering 3 Star Hotel not 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ The location is very good.

Before coming to Tunisia, I didn’t do any research or rent a car. I only booked a room for two days out of a four-day trip. I decided to go there first. The trip without any research turned out to be the most surprising adventure. When you go to Tunisia, stay at the Movenpick Hotel Gammarth and find the customer service manager Julian. He will help you with everything.

It's close to Lake Tunis, and it's very pleasant to walk. There are also many restaurants nearby. It's perfect. It's suitable for business trips and tourism. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of fruits.

Be careful when paying! Some receptionists aren't familiar with their own accounting. Even though the room rate was paid weeks in advance, they still charge you the same rate upon checkout! Be sure to bring proof of payment. I had lengthy arguments about this. Very annoying...
