My trip to Lhasa this time was spent entirely at this hotel, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Tibet. The hotel's location is its biggest highlight; it's incredibly close to Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, allowing you to walk directly to all the main attractions. This means no need to wake up early to rush for transport, saving both time and hassle. In the evening, it's especially convenient to take a stroll and see the Potala Palace at night. You don't have to travel far, and you can easily capture stunning twilight photos. For tourists wanting to explore the old city in depth, the location is absolutely perfect.
The hotel's overall environment is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, with floors, bathrooms, and even the edges of tables meticulously cleaned. The bedding is clean and odor-free, showing that basic hygiene is handled exceptionally well. The rooms are equipped with oxygen machines and humidifiers, a double boost perfectly suited for the dry and high-altitude environment. I didn't experience chest tightness or dry mouth at night, allowing me to fall asleep peacefully and completely alleviate the discomfort of altitude sickness. Even first-time visitors to Tibet can get a good, restful night's sleep here.
What truly impressed me was the warm service from everyone. From the security guard at the entrance to the front desk staff handling check-in, and even the aunties and uncles in the breakfast restaurant, every single staff member was warm and gentle. They patiently and thoroughly answered any questions, treated guests with genuine sincerity, and showed thoughtful care at every turn. The check-in process at the front desk was efficient and quick, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would proactively refill dishes, demonstrating their attentiveness to detail.
My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. The location, cleanliness, facilities, and service were all top-notch – absolutely no disappointments. If I visit Lhasa again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I also recommend it to any friends planning a trip to Lhasa; it's truly a reliable place to stay.
My stay at the InterContinental Darchen Hotel was truly excellent!
The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The hotel thoughtfully provided an oxygen concentrator and massage chair, which was so helpful for us trekking around Mount Kailash. After acclimatizing to altitude sickness and hiking, the massage chair was a great way to relax and relieve the aches and pains. The hotel's support was excellent. The smart toilet seat had a fresh, disposable seat cover every day.
The breakfast was delicious and very satisfying. The room was equipped with a smart home system, and the voice control for switches and curtains was incredibly convenient.
Although there was a minor issue during my stay, the hotel handled it very promptly and the service was excellent; it was resolved quickly and efficiently.
Overall, my stay was extremely pleasant. This is definitely the top choice for accommodation when trekking around Mount Kailash in Darchen. Highly recommended!
A hotel worthy of a full 5 stars. Shannan exceeded my expectations and re-examined the Hilton brand.
The hotel service, from the moment I arrived, was excellent, attentive, and professional, demonstrating strong brand management. Check-in was prompt, and we were even greeted with warm rhodiola rosea tea.
The hotel room was spacious and user-friendly, and I slept very comfortably that night.
The breakfast was also exceptional, with a wide selection. The bread was delicious and beautifully presented, and the staff even took the initiative to make local glutinous rice cakes for guests, which were delicious.
There are many dining options nearby, including markets, supermarkets, and restaurants, all within walking distance.
The hotel also provided evening porridge, milk, and small bread, which I slept soundly after. Due to time constraints, I didn't stay an extra day, which is a shame. I will definitely return to your hotel when I visit Ngari next year, and I'll definitely choose Hilton again if I ever find one.

Highly recommend! The hotel's location is superb, with the room window directly facing the side of Potala Palace. You can virtually 'check in' at the attraction right from your room. The restaurant is even better, with huge windows offering unobstructed views, perfect for a lovely breakfast and a scenic dinner. The fridge has complimentary drinks. Jokhang Temple is just a few minutes' walk away, and Potala Palace isn't far to walk either. Grabbing a rickshaw is incredibly convenient. No wonder it's a popular 'influencer hotel' – once you've been, you'll never forget it…

Wingate by Wyndham is absolutely amazing! It's in a prime location, right next to a pedestrian street, and just a 5-minute walk to the Potala Palace, close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street. The hotel is very new, with a sophisticated and elegant decor that blends ******* elements. The rooms are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with diffused oxygen supply and humidifiers throughout – a godsend for those worried about altitude sickness. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation and even a Dyson hairdryer, showing great attention to detail. The 6th-floor rooftop restaurant offers a prime viewing spot, and seeing the golden roof of the Potala Palace in the morning and evening is breathtaking. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming, offering Hada scarves and complimentary room upgrades. The breakfast is delicious. New facilities, excellent service, and an unbeatable location – definitely the top choice for accommodation in Lhasa!
Honestly, this hotel is truly the light of Mount Kailash.
First, the front desk lady was incredibly helpful. She rented climbing photos and requested oxygen tanks, all handled from the comfort of her home.
Second, the hotel's amenities are among the best in the area, practically meeting Wanlian's standards. They even have a massage chair.
Third, I won't dwell on the hardware, but I do want to touch on the software. I left my watch at the hotel, and the lady even found a time to ship it to me. She was very thorough in her communication and even did the shipping herself. Thank you so much!
Fourth, the hotel offers a pick-up service for circumambulation, but this isn't necessary if you're driving.
The hotel is located in the bustling city center with convenient underground parking. It's just a few hundred meters from the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery, which we visited. The hotel's breakfast was the best among the six hotels we stayed at during our six-night trip. However, there were two aspects during our stay that I wasn't happy with: 1. The room's air conditioning temperature was locked at around 27 degrees Celsius, and it took a long time for me to cool down after showering at night. 2. The oxygen supply for the morning ended at 9 AM, so I was woken up when the oxygen was cut off, even though I wanted to sleep in. Other than that, the hotel generally met the expected Atour standards.
Full score stay experience, Yunxuan Hotel is worth N brush! 🌟 Xiaoyan at the front desk is the biggest highlight, gentle and enthusiastic, professional and caring, check-in and check-out are fast and efficient, take the initiative to help with luggage, explain the hotel service and surrounding play guides in detail, and even remind the weather to change. The location of the hotel is excellent, the travel is convenient, the quiet is quiet, and the environment is elegant and comfortable. The room details are full, clean and odorless, the bedding is high-quality, the bathroom facilities are easy to use, the quality of toiletries is online, and the smart equipment improves the happiness. The breakfast is rich in variety, nutritious and delicious, and the day is full of vitality. The whole process feels the warmth of being valued, Xiaoyan's service makes people feel at home, there is no strangeness, whether it is a business trip or a trip, it is a great choice, strong Amway for everyone!

It's a cute little traditional ******* style hotel that is just a stone throw from Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but has an Indian restaurant downstairs. You can also find plenty of food along the Barkhor Street which is like 2 mins walk away. Potala Palace is also relatively near about 2km away. The hotel also has cute kittens running around.

I stayed at Atour for three days and I'm completely hooked! The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the scholarly ambiance of the lobby. The staff's smiles were so infectious, and check-in was seamless – no waiting at all. The mattress in the room was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and even the scent of the toiletries was soothing. The freshly made noodles for breakfast paired perfectly with the coffee. Next time I'm in this city, I'll definitely choose Atour again!

AAlfreda YThis hotel was definitely out of our expectations. New and modern. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Airport drop off and pick up service is available 24/7. Literally just come to the reception and staff will arrange transportation immediately. No need to make any reservations.
Hotel room was big and clean. Modern design with technology. All the amenities were well equipped. Comfortable bed to rest after your long journey and to get prepared for next day flight.
Big big thumb up.

QQiabeibeixiaojie_I stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for several consecutive nights! What I loved most was the super spacious Tibetan-style courtyard on the first floor. I was absolutely mesmerized the moment I walked in! You can dine, enjoy sweet tea, afternoon tea, pet cats… In short, it’s perfect for leisurely spending time in Lhasa.
The hotel is right on the Barkhor Street kora path, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! I heard this used to be the Nepalese Consulate 400 years ago, and now it's the Gesar Japo Museum! Carvings, murals, and antique objects are everywhere. Exploring this heritage-listed ******* ancient building truly feels like stepping back in time.
Upon check-in, there's a traditional Hada presentation. The staff are so warm and helpful, even assisting with luggage. They also offer complimentary ******* traditional clothing for photos. In the room, there's a special high-altitude welcome kit: facial masks, hair essential oil, makeup remover wipes, and more… so thoughtful for female guests! The hotel offers a self-service breakfast. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, truly a master of creating a wonderful atmosphere! 🏡

ZZiyoudexiaobaiyangIt's close to Guo Street, making transportation very convenient. The only downside is that the oxygen supply wasn't as good as I expected; I woke up in the middle of the night with a headache.
GGuest UserThe hotel isn't to far from the Portola Palace (a short taxi trip). I wouldn't say its a true 4 star hotel.
The room was a good size, quiet and didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The room was a little worn out; I couldn't get the TV to work, the mirror on the wet bar area was cracked, there were marks to the walls where paintings/pictures had once been. Most annoying was the shower cubicle and the shower over the bath had only cold water! On my last morning the power was off in my area of the hotel and the lift was not working due to the power outage.
The hotel staff do not speak English, but one lady working on reception was especially nice and helpful and we were able to communicate by using the translation app.
There are lots of restaurants near by, but next time I think I'd prefer to stay closer to the Portola Palace.

GGuest UserFeitu: I stayed in the hotel for 7 days and was very satisfied with three things. The first was the service of Xiaochen, a girl from Sichuan. She always gave you the best service anytime and anywhere. If you were short of oxygen, you could ask her. If you wanted to change to a more satisfactory room, you could ask her. If you wanted water, slippers, or a toothbrush, you could ask her. Anyway, she would meet all your needs and make you feel at home. Before leaving, I couldn't help but give her a lamb 🐑 plush toy. I hope she likes it 💕. The second thing is that the hotel is very clean and tidy. The bathroom and the bed are separated, and the view is great. I was in a sunny mood every day. The third thing is that the breakfast at the hotel is delicious. There are not many varieties, but it is enough to meet all needs, especially the spicy rice noodles. I have to eat a bowl every day. I will come again next time~
GGuest UserI checked into the hotel on March 28th. I had severe altitude sickness. I saw a reminder on the Ctrip backend that the hotel would start supplying oxygen at 8pm, so I had to buy a few oxygen cylinders myself. There was a problem with the humidifier in the room. The room attendant came in without saying hello, just filled the humidifier with water and left. There was no minimum courtesy or kind reminder to customers about the instructions. There was no training or assessment on weekdays. At 8 o'clock, there was still no oxygen, and my oxygen cylinder had been used up. I called the front desk and she told me that the oxygen supply would start at 8:30. At 8:30, I called her again and she said the technician had gone to open it. At 8:33, she called again and asked me to wait. I arrived directly at 8:37. I questioned the front desk, but they still didn't feel uneasy. I went to the VIP building of Tibet Hotel as a person with altitude sickness. Many other hotels provide oxygen all day long, but they didn't provide oxygen from 8:30 pm to 7 am the next day, which is very unfriendly. I didn't expect that they didn't provide it during the time period and there was no apology. I had a severe headache from altitude sickness and found the front desk to question them. High-quality service should open oxygen for customers in advance and care about their physical condition. This front desk was arrogant and had no sympathy for the customers. Altitude sickness is very dangerous. I accepted such a cold and ruthless service experience of the VIP building of Tibet Hotel when I was extremely uncomfortable. I will never come again! !
GGuest UserHigh-quality central diffused oxygen for 18 hours: The diffused nasal oxygen in the room was very practical.
City shuttle: The hotel also provides a car service to attractions like Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple, which is very convenient for getting around. The location is also excellent, reaching the city center in just 10 minutes.
Hygiene: The room linens were very tidy, and the cleaning was thorough and spotless. The smart toilet was a great convenience, and the hotel also offers free massage chairs available all day, which were very useful.
