My overall experience at the Potala Palace View Hotel (Potala Palace Branch) was extremely satisfying. The room directly faces the Potala Palace, offering a panoramic view where both the morning and night scenery have their unique charm. Just sitting by the window, you can quietly enjoy this breathtaking and peaceful sight. The hotel's rooftop restaurant also boasts a great location, allowing you to dine with views of the Potala Palace, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Whether during check-in or dining, any requests were promptly addressed and resolved, making me feel completely at ease. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is considerate. It's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lhasa who wants a comfortable stay with convenient access to views. Highly recommended.
This time I came to fulfill my wish three years ago, to circumambulate Mount Kailash.
This is the hotel I live in Saga, Lhaze and Tachin! ! (The pictures I took randomly are all from one of these three places)
I really strongly recommend it. It is really rare to be able to stay in such a clean hotel with good service in such a high altitude area!
There is an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier in the room! ! These two directly saved half the lives of the people in the plains! The massage couch was very very comfortable! It’s great to have a massage after circumambulating the mountain! !
By the way, I was given two bottles of water when I left. Anyway, thank you all three stores, I wish you good health and everything goes well🥰
I will definitely recommend it to my friends in the future.

Staying in Lhasa's 400-year-old 'Living Fossil'! The Gurkha Hotel is absolutely brilliant!
✨ Seriously, you guys! I stayed at a hotel in Lhasa where you can literally 'touch history.' It instantly transformed my Tibet trip from mere 'sightseeing' into a truly immersive experience. This blogger is officially obsessed and wholeheartedly recommends it!
🏨 First off, the location is absolutely tailor-made for an in-depth exploration—right in the heart of the Barkhor Street kora route, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! In the early morning, you can follow the elderly faithful along the cobblestone paths during their kora. In the evening, after browsing the shops on Barkhor Street, you can simply turn around and step right into this Tibetan-style courtyard. The sheer bliss of not having to rush back is something only those who stay here will truly understand! 🙌🏻
🌅 But what truly makes it special is its 'heritage'! Once the Nepalese Consulate, this 400-year-old building still bears the marks of time: ******* carvings on the wooden beams, prayer wheels in the courtyard, prayer flags hanging from the eaves. Even the angle at which the sunlight hits the stone paths feels like a replication of old times. Sipping a coffee in the incredibly atmospheric courtyard, your fingertips tracing the warm cup, the aroma of coffee mingling with the serene tranquility of Tibet—time itself seems to slow down. ☕️~
⚠️ And here’s the highlight: the check-in perks that truly elevate the '******* cultural experience' to the max:
1️⃣ Free ******* clothing rental! Wearing it to stroll Barkhor Street, passersby actually thought I was a local, and my photos felt incredibly authentic and immersive!~
2️⃣ The hotel offers 10 complimentary courtyard travel photoshoots. They have their own photography studio, and the photographers are experts at capturing the light and shadows of the ancient architecture. No need to find angles yourself; effortlessly capture those 'timeless' and 'epic' shots!
3️⃣ The room comes with a special high-altitude care package! Face masks, conditioner, essential oil makeup remover—all provided. They understand the challenges of high-altitude dryness and our thoughtful skincare needs.~
4️⃣ Free admission to the Gesar Japo Museum! Listen to staff share stories of the consulate from 400 years ago, then enjoy a complimentary sweet tea. You'll instantly grasp the 'romance of old Lhasa'!
What's even more surprising is how modern comforts are seamlessly integrated within this ancient structure! Rooms are equipped with oxygen facilities, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even at high altitude. The rooftop cafe offers stunning night views of the Potala Palace. A latte enjoyed with that ancient building view? Pure bliss! The breakfast's ******* noodles and tsampa (a traditional ******* staple food) are incredibly authentic! And the service? Absolutely impeccable! The front desk staff offer traditional Hada scarves and sweet tea, and the security guards help with luggage, showing incredible care, just like family!
Coming to Lhasa and want to stay comfortably while deeply experiencing ******* culture? Look no further! Staying here isn't just about a night's rest; it's about creating a ******* story that will forever be etched in your memory.~

Choosing the right hotel in Lhasa is so important! The Spring and Autumn Oxygen Hotel is definitely a top choice. The abundant oxygen totally kept altitude sickness at bay. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the heating was excellent. The service was attentive and responsive to all our needs. Plus, the breakfast was rich and plentiful. This hotel really elevated our entire trip experience. I genuinely recommend it! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

I stayed at Atour for three days and I'm completely hooked! The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the scholarly ambiance of the lobby. The staff's smiles were so infectious, and check-in was seamless – no waiting at all. The mattress in the room was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and even the scent of the toiletries was soothing. The freshly made noodles for breakfast paired perfectly with the coffee. Next time I'm in this city, I'll definitely choose Atour again!
Nagqu is at a very high altitude. We arrived in Namtso from Namtso and had some altitude sickness. It was cold and windy outside, so we didn't want to go out for dinner. The hotel unexpectedly prepared a late-night snack for guests, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's facilities are new and smart, and the oxygen concentrator worked very well, alleviating our altitude sickness. The service was also excellent. Nagqu is very dry, and we were running low on mineral water. We called to request two more bottles, and the hotel quickly delivered three bottles, which was very thoughtful.

This time I went to Lhasa and checked almost all the scattered oxygen supply hotels near Yutuo Road. I finally chose the Potala Palace Yixuan Hotel. The stay experience far exceeded expectations! The hotel is in a great location, about 5 minutes walk to the Potala Palace Square, and very close to Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The hotel is very new and quiet, the rooms are spacious and bright, clean and hygienic, the facilities are very complete, there is free dispersion oxygen supply and humidifier, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the heating smart toilet, and the disposable supplies are fully equipped. There is free bottled mineral water at the elevator entrance. One thing to mention in particular, when checking in, there is also a highland VIP courtesy of Hada. The beautiful Tibetan girl at the front desk is very warm and polite. We upgraded the big bed outside window room for free. We also intimately helped the suitcase to the room and helped open the diffuse oxygen supply. And arranged for someone to send the nose tube, originally after getting off the plane, I felt a little high reaction, after more than an hour of oxygen, I felt full of vitality, that afternoon I went to the Potala Palace, I was worried that the high reaction arranged to go the next day. It is very quiet at night, sleeps very soundly, and diffuse oxygen supply from 2 pm to 8 am the next morning.
The sixth floor of the hotel is one of the great places to see the Potala Palace. You can also lie down and enjoy the sun and have a cup of coffee.
In general, the stay experience is superb, next time I come to Lhasa, I will choose to stay at Yixuan Hotel, thank you for giving us a warm experience. Five-star praise!

The room is full of surprises! The bedding is high-branch cotton material, soft and skin-friendly, the mattress is moderately hard and soft, and there is no back pain even for two nights; the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water is out in seconds and the water pressure is stable, and the aroma of the bath spare parts is high and not pungent. Smart curtains, high-speed WiFi, ergonomic office chairs are all available, drinks in the minibar are actually free, and the details are all attentive. The most unexpected thing is the sound insulation, the main road is outside the window, but the room is quiet enough to hear your breathing.
The hotel is convenient for parking, robot one-stop service, complete facilities, intelligent rooms are very novel, each room is equipped with massage chairs, the front desk service is warm, and the breakfast is rich. The altitude is also low 2800, the scenery is also very green, and the paradise in Tibet.
Very close to Yangzhuo Ruicuo, suitable for staying. It is super suitable to rest on the Sichuan-Tibet line! Near the gas station and the food street, it is convenient to make up for energy and foraging for food. The room has oxygen supply and is not afraid of high reaction. The bedding is soft enough to relieve the fatigue of the journey and the breakfast is full. The front desk will also help check the follow-up road conditions, clean and intimate, a proper travel charging station!

AAnonymous User**Review of Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel**
My stay at the Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel was quite pleasant and convenient, particularly for a traveler looking for comfort near the airport. The hotel's prime location, just a short distance from the Lhasa Gonggar Airport, makes it an excellent choice for those with early flights or needing a quick stopover.
The hotel itself is modern and well-kept, with a clean and stylish design. My room was spacious and comfortable, featuring contemporary furnishings and all the necessary amenities for a restful stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the room's soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep despite the proximity to the airport.
The staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay, although there were occasional language barriers. Nonetheless, they were always willing to assist and made an effort to accommodate my requests. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient.
One area where the hotel could improve is its dining options. While the breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of dishes, I found that the food could benefit from more freshness and variety, especially for those staying multiple nights. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection was somewhat inconsistent, which might be a concern for business travelers needing reliable internet access.
Overall, Lhasa Gonggar Airport Lan Ou International Hotel is a solid option for travelers looking for a comfortable stay close to the airport. While there are minor areas for improvement, the hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and friendly service make it a good choice for short stays or layovers.

HhohotimVery satisfied with everything, the best is the customer service, always answer all questions.
Buy an oxygen tube for RMB 10/piece, and you can arrange an oxygen machine at the lobby bar to provide free oxygen.
There were sanitary defects, cigarette butts were found, we don't smoke as a family, but it was acceptable, the sprinkler pipe leaked, and the water pressure increased after cleaning.
Everything was cured by the warm customer service.
GGuest UserThis hotel is located right next to the entrance of Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple, close to shopping and transportation to other places in Lhasa, so the location is perfect.
The service is the most impressive, my hotel room was facing the street and there was a loud speaker shouting all day and all night, I had to complaint to the hotel staff even though the speaker was not part of the hotel. They immediately negotiated with the the relevant people, and offered to switch my room to face away from the street. Also the hotel staff helped me to reserve the critical sites and train. I cannnot be more thankful for their help.
The room was big and they cleaned every day, they did a good job cleaning the room.
The onsite laundry facility was helpful too since I cannot affort to pay for laundry service.
All in all, I am very happy with the stay, and will return again if I come back to Lhasa.

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic, helping with luggage, offering a Hada scarf, and always ready to assist! The hotel always has Rhodiola rosea tea available, and you can take a pot to your room to drink whenever you like. The diffused oxygen supply also works exceptionally well – it's not one of those flimsy oxygen machines. The hotel breakfast is quite good too; while it can't compare to a branded star hotel, it has all the essentials, with a slight emphasis on Chinese-style dishes like tsampa, ******* noodles, sweet tea, yak butter tea, fruits, yogurt, and rice noodles, among others. Overall, I highly recommend it; it offers great value for money, and there's even a complimentary Mercedes shuttle to nearby attractions! The cafe next to the front desk, where you can grab light meals, is also excellent!
GGuest UserWe absolutely fell in love with this hotel - both the room and the overall environment. It is a beautiful hotel and we took loads of photos. Strongly recommending this hotel, especially if you are looking for a comfortable stay and easy travel to tourist destinations. We also recommend the Indian food downstairs as it was delicious. Thank you for the hospitality!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean and bright, with good facilities. The front desk is decorated in ******* style, and there are many locals staying here, such as monks. The breakfast is the most abundant hotel I have ever met, with both Chinese and ******* options. The most important thing is that it is pet-friendly! The hotel provides laundry service, but I asked by phone and was told that if there are more than two pieces, they will be charged separately. You can see the price list at the front desk.
ZZizaibanruoxingzheThis hotel made me feel at home on the plateau.
I have to give a huge thumbs up to the Gyirong Chomo Langzong Hotel! I didn't have high expectations for a high-altitude stay, but I was blown away the moment I walked in—a rich ******* style blended with modern design. The lobby was filled with a faint scent of ******* incense, instantly soothing the fatigue from the bumpy ride.
· Before I could even speak as I got off the car, a young man with a super-smiling smile came trotting over to take my luggage (I later learned it was Xiao Rui!)
· They proactively upgraded our room upon check-in, and upon entering the room, we were served hot soy milk and fruit.
· The recommended, non-influenced viewpoint was absolutely amazing! I captured the full view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun!
I'll definitely be booking this hotel next time I'm in Tibet!
