4-Star Hotels in Irkutsk Oblast, Russia

Traveling to Lake Baikal in winter, stay in the town of Li for two days and stay at the legendary Baikara. The hotel is built next to the lake and is very unique. It is an attraction in itself. I booked a lake view room. Although the room is not big, you can enjoy the incomparable sunset of Lake Baikal standing in front of the window, which is really comfortable. The front desk does not speak English, but communication is smooth through a translator. Alipay and WeChat are available at the hotel front desk, and the front desk can also help call a taxi. What deserves special recommendation is the hotel's own restaurant, which is delicious, reasonably priced and has a good sense of service. When we checked in, we saw many Russians dining and it felt good, so we tried it and didn't expect it to taste really good. We had two meals in a row because it was delicious. Next time I want to go in summer, I will stay at this hotel. The lake view is so beautiful!

Great hotel! A special thanks to the staff – they're incredibly helpful and go out of their way to solve any issue, even the most unusual ones. The rooms are very clean and have all the standard necessities. The food is delicious, hats off to them! The breakfast is a fresh and varied buffet. We've stayed in many places, so we know what we're talking about!

We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

I really loved this hotel! It was clean, cozy, and modern. The room was excellent and had everything you could need (dental kit, bathrobes, safe...). The dispensers in the bathroom were very convenient! 👍 The breakfast was superb! The food (from the main menu) and service in the restaurant were wonderful. The staff were also very friendly and customer-oriented! All in all, a solid 5 stars!

I stayed in an executive room, initially for two days and then extended for another five, for a total of seven days. Overall, the stay was good. I'll focus on the downsides for the five days; I'll share the positives for the two days later. 1. The front desk staff's English was very poor. 2. The food was also terrible. Luckily, I didn't book a room with breakfast included; buying breakfast separately for 1250 RUB is a huge rip-off, even for someone used to Western food. Turn left after exiting the hotel, then turn left again, and walk 200 meters. There's a More Coffee there; the coffee and baked goods are excellent, making it more suitable for breakfast, provided you're used to Western-style breakfasts.

The room was spotless and tidy. It's located right in the 130 block, so there are plenty of places to eat just outside, and it was surprisingly quiet. The room was larger than I expected, with a sensible layout. All the toiletries like shampoo and shower gel were clean and well-kept. Breakfast could be delivered to the room. My only minor complaint is the lack of an elevator. The front desk lady was very friendly, and there was also a front desk guy who spoke Chinese.

Excellent value for money. The hotel is well-renovated with great mattresses and linens. The room was clean, spacious, and fresh. Breakfasts were decent and served in a magnificent hall. It's a very good, budget-friendly hotel. Not in the city center, but nearby and close to the airport. A very convenient option for transit.

We really liked staying at the AsiaEurope Hotel 👍🙌we didn't even think there were such hotels in Irkutsk. Here everything is done with design, in modern style 👍 everything is thought to small things. Near the airport. Service at the height, settled earlier, operation 👍 flights all night very tired were, the girl explained everything to us, showed, advised the cafe next to us so that we could with comfort all examine 👍Thank you big 🙌 was quiet. The TV didn't work, but we didn't need it, the main thing in the way of rest 👍

The room was incredibly clean, and the front desk staff provided excellent service. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was absolutely fantastic and perfectly suited our tastes – we ate there for several days straight! The souvenirs next to the front desk were very well-designed and unique compared to what you find downtown; we were really happy with our purchases. The front desk staff even proactively offered us a weighing scale when they saw us packing our luggage, which allowed us to pack with peace of mind. This is truly a wonderful hotel, and if we ever get the chance to visit Irkutsk again, we'll definitely come back!
