Milan Hotels with balcony

The location is unbeatable! Just a short walk to the Duomo Square, making shopping incredibly convenient. The room itself isn't huge, but it's perfectly fine for a short stay, especially given the prime location!

I was truly impressed by how clean the facilities were. The location is a bit out of the way, but it's the perfect environment, making everything else negligible. Plus, there's a subway station nearby, which makes getting around convenient. If you're looking for a clean place to stay in Milan, I highly recommend it.

I usually stay at the Florence Calimala, the one in Milan is bigger and the rooms are slightly different, still very nice. Gym and terrace are great and the staff is friendly. The minibar is free of charge and there is a nice bar on the 5th floor. Perfectly located in porta Venezia.

I love how good the location is and how friendly was the staff. I would definitely recommend the hotel for solo or couple trip.

I had a fantastic stay at Palazzo Viridis. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable – it’s easy to feel at home right away. The staff truly stands out: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. One of the highlights is the bar downstairs – stylish, with a great atmosphere and excellent drinks. It’s the perfect place to relax in the evening. Overall, a wonderful hotel that I would highly recommend!

Booked this hotel last minute after a change of plans. We wanted to be near the station so we could move around easily. We booked for two nights and booked a triple room (2 x adults and 1 x teenager). Room was located on in the basement, but thankfully we had a small window. The room was an odd shape, the window only in one part and the beds, tv etc round the corner from the window. Bathroom was a good size, unfortunately didn’t realise until I came to use it but our hairdryer didn’t work. Also, only one pillow each on the bed, but asked for another and they gladly provided it. Overall a good hotel in a good location. Lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby which are very reasonable.

The hotel is new and the service is excellent. The staff speak many languages and you can store your luggage there. I checked in early in the morning, and after a quick call to confirm, it was fine. They gave me a really spacious room. I'd definitely choose this hotel again when I return. The only strange thing was that the shower water was cold, but overall it's a very modern place.

Since it was a remodeled old building, it wasn't easy to find at first. It was a special experience just to step inside the old building. The interior was clean and well-maintained, so we had a good rest. There was a tram stop nearby, so we were able to get to the subway station easily. There were also bakeries and gelato shops nearby, which we made good use of. Getting to the Duomo wasn't difficult either. We could have walked, but we took the tram for three subway stops. It was a truly memorable hotel. Even the water from the vending machine in the lobby was 0.6 euros, which was cheaper than at the nearby supermarket.

Spice Hotel Milano is conveniently located a short walk away from Milano Centrale Station, making it easy for arrival in and departure from Milan. The metro station entrance is just next to the hotel. In general, the area is safe if you keep to the main roads and don't stare or look at others while walking. You may want to keep away from the smaller streets after dark. Know where you are going to and be confident. You'll be fine. The room is reasonably priced, clean and decent size. Reception is friendly and you can keep your luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if I return to Milan.

Hotel Da Vinci in Milan is overall a solid choice, especially if you want a reliable base without paying central Milan prices. While it’s officially rated as a 4-star hotel, it feels more like a 3.5-star experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, but some areas of the property and amenities feel a bit dated or simple for a true 4-star rating. That said, as long as your expectations are set right, it delivers good value for money.
